My volvo s80 2006 2.5L Turbo 5 cylinder uses #4000 fuel roughly 28 litres (without AC) to and from Sagamu (Ogun State) to Victorial Island (Lagos) exclusive of hold up. Is this okay or the fuel consunption is high

How does one determines if a coolant level sensor is faulty. Am having an issue now with my car coolant level sensor in the expansion tank. The coolant level is okay that is btw minimum and maximum mark but the low coolant level message has stayed on permanently on the trip computer. what can be the cause of this.

Mine is Volvo S80 and the recommended tyre pressure is 30psi for front wheel and 32psi for the rear wheel

Thanks bright 2. I notice most recommended tyre pressure for most cars shipped to Nigeria falls btw 30psi and 32psi but this number is really adhere to.

Hi guys,
I would like to know the implication of inflating my car tyre to 50psi (both front and rear wheels), when the manufacturer recommends 30psi for front and 32psi for the rear wheel.
Note I decide to use 50psi as my tyre pressure because that's what most people use.

Thanks Luxusgs430. The steering is a power steering wheel just as u said. But please where is the Power steering fluid reservoir located as i have never change the fluid, though the car is a Tokunbo volvo s80 2006.

Who told you its a construction company?? They are known as Royalcon Consult and they are into selling Wellness/GNLD product. They will ask u to pay #8500 as a starter if u can better and if u cant, u will be shown the way out. If you like marketing GNLD product, u can give it a try. If not, i will advice u run for ur dear life.

Thanks guys av gotten a solution to the low level coolant issue (below the min line). I think what causes it is low tire pressure. Just realize all my four tires were not properly gauge and after gauging it the coolant level has remain normal for five days now.

@ Lomomike, tanks. No coolant leakage from under where the car is parked. And the temperature needle is even a little before the red mark, hence no over heating. Its just that any time i fill the coolant tank between the min and max level, i noticed that the level would have dropped below the min level after two days. more suggestions please.

Guys pls would like to know how much it cost to change the radiator of Volvo s80 2006 model. The issue is that the coolant level is always getting low after every two days and i was advice by my mechanic to have to change the radiator. Explaining that it is always recommended to change the radiator of a Tokunbo car because of our temperature here compare to what is obtain from where the car is being shipped from. Is this true

Thank God for where i am today and i av vow never to board a Molue again, instead, i will opt for a BRT.

what prompted the above was a bitter experience. Then i use to work for a security outfit, attach to one of this fast food joint. I was lucky enough to be post to the traffic section as my bit for that day. After working under the sun through out that day, i was able to roger #2000 plus my own personal money, totalling #4000 plus.

at the end of the day, i was to board a bus from Ikeja along to agbado ijaiye. I saw a Danfo of #50 0r #70, cant really remember. But as any Lagos husling guy will do, i opted for a Molue with low fare of about #40 in which all seats were already occupied leaving me with no option but to stand not knowing while i was trying to board the Molue, my pocket has been picked. Now dont tell be am greedy cos in lagos u work to safe money no matter aw little. When the conductor demanded for Tfare, lol i dip my hand into my back pocket where i keep the #4000 plus and it was not there. I thought i was seeing a mirage, i search my other pockets, they where all empty and it was as if the ground should open up to swallow me. The conductor guy no even pity me he was still demanding his fare not until other passengers came to my rescue that he should spare me. This very incident affected me alot that it took me like two weeks to get over it.

Though i knew so many people have had even bitter experience than i do, but mine so happen when #4000 was a lot of money. Since then, i have vow never to enter a molue again, this was even before BRT was born and i thank God for making me keep to the vow. at least i have my own car and if i should deem it fit to take a public transport, i will rather opt for a BRT.

I also remember those time when i was still in my primary school and i have to shuttle from Dopemu to Yaba every day. I will struggle with mature passengers to get a sit on board a molue, only to ask an elderly person be it male or female who is unfortunate to get a sit to lap me so that i can keep my own money. I dont think kids of today still do that.

@Julyb, what post did u apply for?? If computer engineer or operator u have to know more about computer hardware and repair. Not that the company is doing much of computer repair, but i think that's just their standard test format.And like i said, i cant really be totally sure what is to be expected since its most likely they would have change the test format but with a little of what i have said, study a little of Gmats, Computer hardware and quantitative aptitude and lastly, pray and i believe God will see u through.

Compovine are in Sales and Servicing of Computer and its accessories. Cant really be specific about the test format, cos when i did mine in 2011 it consist of GMATs and IT base questions. There pay is around 45000 per month for HND or BSC, dont know if they have increase it now. Best of luck.

I have a Volvo s80 2006 model(TOKUNBO), i was showing check engine on the dash board, but i never pay any attention to this, thinking its a normal occurence. Then one morning a started it, it start and after about 2mins, it off by itself and since then (3weeks now), it has failed to start. After scanning, it shows the code P0968 Pressure control Solenoid 'c', control circuit open. Please can u guys help me with this?

And lastly, for aw much can i get the crank shaft for a Volvo s80, just a rough estimate. You response will be highly appreciated. Thank you
