@ poster, This little Vans are really cute and i can't seem to understand why it was discontinued. They are getting quite hard to find at the moment especially in a great condition. Our choice(s) are very limited since not many of them were sold in the first place. Coupled with the fact that they have been discontinued for a while. However, i love challenges and its no problem locating you one that's really worth the effort. ![]() The biggest challenge is getting one that clean, well maintained with low miles. Attached is what i have come up with. I don't know your preference as far as the color goes, but its a really nice car overall. Mileage is about 80,000 (which is outstanding for the car) Total Landing cost is: N980,000 delivered to your address in Lagos. This will be Lagos Cleared. It will take about 4 weeks to get to Lagos after sailing in Nigeria In case you have any question, my email is: promise72@yahoo.com

Otunba-1:You will be looking around N8.5m for something less than 10k miles. Let me know if you still interested. You can reach me at: promise72@yahoo.com Regards |
Dan-G:I am very hopeful that you find whatever you are looking for at a good price. But when shipping and clearing alone will be gulping about 500k. This is a clean titled vehicle. I am not sure how else i will do it. The leather Altima are also very rare indeed. Shop around and ONLY let me be your last resort if deemed necessary in case you can't get what you are looking for. Contact me only as a last option. I want you to save the best for last. ![]() Shine your eye when you shop around. The least i can do is be your OBJECTIVE eyes and ears when you can't be there. Good luck in your search. |

People tend to shy away from V6 in Naija cos of misinformation from Half baked mechanics. The seller might try to just get whatever he can get for it. |
GermanLaw:Exactly! That is why i have been trying to tell you that the importer to Germany is who you should be putting a squeeze on. Asking questions from US sellers/Auctioneers won't help you at all. That's a lot of odometer rollback. Good luck. |
just will like to keep up with the responses. |
i don't know this seller but it seems that is what you want. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-411894.0.html However, if you still feel like you want to pre-order, you can let me know. Can help you ship one form the US My email is: promise72@yahoo.com |

Pls whats the mileage? i have someone looking for it. The person prefers the one already on ground. Thanks |
The thing with Naija is that, make sure that the plugs you have are good quality ones. If this problem began right around when you change the plugs, it might be safe to assume that the problem might be with the plugs. Things like the plugs can be purchased directly from Honda place if you are not sure of the source that you are getting it from. Good luck |
dustydee:When was the last time you did a FULL service. By FULL service, i mean CHANGING of all plugs, distributor caps and rotors, spark plug wires, fuel filter, air filter. These things i mentioned are not made to last forever but most people in Naija seems to think they are. It needs to be changed to New ones!. Not used from Ladipo market. In the meantime, the best you can do now is try and clean the plugs. Make sure the are all working, clean the air filter (Naija is very dusty). But ultimately you need to change all those i mentioned above. Good luck. |
That seems to be a New York plates. I am not sure if the seller is serious to sell or just playing. Can't see how he left out the price info and hasn't replied to all request. Wait and see. |
Personally, i think you are trying too hard to fix a very simple issue. I don't know how it works in Germany, but here in the US, there is a privacy issue you will run into. How will you feel if someone was inquiring information about your car without you knowing it? And it was given out without your consent? Even the auctioneer will refuse to provide you the info of the buyer. this is done to protect the buyer's interest as far as privacy and profit goes. Lets assume that you are a dealer and you went an purchase a car at the auction for like $5,000. You turned around to sell the car to me for like $6,000. If i happen to know where you bought the car, how happy will you be if you found out the info was provided to me by the auctioneer? I am not sure you will be very happy at all. Moreso, once the car leaves the auction, its no longer their responsibility. You should be directing your effort at the seller in Germany. The record that shows the car was sold at an auction at a particular mileage is good enough proof of evidence that it was rolled back. Auctions and Finance company (like the Bank) deals with thousands of cars on a weekly basis. Its kinda pointless chasing their tail on a Dodge transaction cos of odometer rollback they know nothing about. If they had rolled it back, it another story but that's not the case. The buyer did. How are they responsible for fixing someone else's problem? ![]() You should have checked the car or demand a CARFAX report before going thru all these hassle. I am not sure you have any recourse thru the auction, Bank or Seller in the US. Talk to the seller in Germany. Good luck |
GermanLaw:I am not sure if you should be taking any issues with CARFAX or the Auto mall. I am sure that the importer/seller is who you should hold responsible for fraud. The best evidence you have, in my opinion is the odometer reading at the auctions. Auctions will record all info on every vehicle that they sell and file the info with the DMV. That is where the CARFAX company in turn gets its information from. The auction has no incentive to lie about odometer cos they stand waaaayyyy more to lose if they engage in that. They can lose their auction license and get fined. The auction makes its money by getting commission from both seller and buyer of a car. Other way you can prove the odometer reading is to give the VIN to any service dept of Chrysler/dodge dealer. If the car has been brought in for any type of service in any part of the country, it will show the service history. It will also show the mileage. You will need to prove that the car belong to you before most of these people can answer to you otherwise they won't answer you The mileage can then be tallied with the auction record and see if it matches. You can then build your case from that angle that the mileage has been consistent thru service records etc. The only problem is that if the vehicle wasn't service at a dealership, then those info will not be available to you. Most people however, do take there car to the dealership when new cos of warranty. Hence , the service record, but some might not. My educated guess is that the car was probably driven by a company/govt agency who has its own service dept, hence that is the reason there was no other record shown until it was sold at the auction. They probably just maintain it in-house. Your last resort can be to confront the seller in Germany with the inaccuracy(s) and get him/her to rectify the problem or refund some $$$$. Unfortunately, the buyer should have done all these before buying the car. This is putting a cart before a horse. Good luck. |
