mistakay:The cost of a 20ft container vs 40ft is about $1000 or less. So breaking even might be tough even with 20ft and only 5 cars. So think about it. Remember, you can lie about numbers but numbers themselves don't lie. They are as objective as they come. Good luck |

No matter how long it took to RORO, the thing must have been stolen in Lagos. Which line did u use? You might wanna check with the person who reprogram the key. Does it turn over? I am not so sure if i can be of any help to you but i can give you some insights on how you need to achieve your project. I must ask first if you live in Texas area? I want you to know that unless you have other things that you will be shipping along, 5 cars is rather too small for a container. You should be able to fit like 10-15 cars in the container depending on the make/model. What will be disadvantageous to you (unlike in Europe) is the labor cost. Its more expensive here in the US to cut it like you are trying to do. How i think you can get around that is that you need to find someone who can flame cut the cars for you. Just like panel beater can cut metals with the oxy-acetylene flame. How it can be done is that all windshield and back windows removed. Doors removes. You cut off the roof at the pillars. Then you half cut the car and load. This will make you load a little less as opposed to dismantling the car into pieces. But will save you in cost and time in getting things done. Full breakdown can let you load as much as much as 20-25 small size cars in a 40 foot container. But if you want to get that done, you might have to look far east for that type of expertise. I am no way near Dallas otherwise i can help you. i am in california. You need to utilize all your space in the container, otherwise its no good for you. Good luck |
