larez:First of all, i don't think its your friend's fault. Sometimes shady dealers import a regular LE camry and rebadge it with xle. Which it seems that is what they did here. Also, if it says 12/06 on the door, it means its a 2007. Any manufacturing date past june is USUALLY for the following year but there are very very few exceptions. This is a 2007 cos the 2006 is the "old" body style. For the xle, there are very distinctive features, that sets its apart from others. I have attached pics for your perusal. XLE usually have rear air vents. XLE has different design cluster gauges. XLE has automatic climate control. Hence the A/C knobs are 2 small ones at the bottom intead of 3 big ones on the LE[color=#000099][/color] You can send me the VIN and will check for you. The VIN WOULD NOT SAY IF ITS AN XLE THOUGH.
