This request by the prisoners sound like a lie to save face by the prison officials, in the cause of my work I have visited and interacted with a lot of inmates and trust me they are only concerned about leaving the prison and possibly any food item they can get. I have never heard a revolt cos of meat, then again you can never predict a convict.

There are three sides to every story. This is one. We just might not hear the side/account from the inmates, nor the truth.

Most of the shops that were not reached yesterday by the demolition team and now just walls; roofing and doors and iron burglary have been removed in anticipation of demolition

Shops. What were there reasons?. What of the occupants, were the occupants not given notice?.

Shops by the roads were marked for demolition and given notices. What was not anticipated was bulldozers going between buildings to tear shops down, way clear of the roadside. In other words, if it isn't a Jakande residential building, its going down, no matter which corner it is.

They stopped around 3pm today, to continue tomorrow. God help us.

LASG is presently tearing down shops inside Jakande Estate, Oke afa, Isolo. And not just the ones by the roadside, the ones within buildings in the estate are affected as well. Presently helping someone evacuate. Details and pics later, as law enforcement are seizing phones of people trying to record.

I'm sure if I listened to the interview, I would get a different impression entirely. Possibly, the answers she gave have been preceded with different questions than those that she answered during the interview. The person who wrote that report has already directed your thoughts to a particular point of view before telling you how she responded to the questions.
