Don1985:
Good mrng to u all...pls how can i track my passport Ups shipment...i got text yesterday evening and is it possible to have my passport today in osun state @ilesa today from Abuja
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 10:44pm On Jan 10, 2019
This same person treated my application, am sure he must have been on SA weed lol. those people just dey milk us
bLacKGoLd3:
Ok, picked up my passport after over 3months and guess what? Visa was denied...Lol
I applied for a CSV but was denied based on a requirement which isn't applicable to a CSV category (see attached).

Incompetence? Naaaa!

I can safely say whoever is at the helms of affairs at the Nigerian Consulate seems to be more interested in getting their palms greased by applicants.
If you know, you know.

I was going to appeal this decision just to set things straight but can't lock down my passport for 8 - 10 months (suggested processing time).
On to the next!
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 10:41pm On Jan 10, 2019
Thanks my brother, Appeal is just mere wasting of time, the best thing is to re apply as i was told but maybe will have to make some explanation in my motivation letter because the reason for this denial is just total BS. And that visa fee is just too much for me to waste at this moment
bLacKGoLd3:

Sorry about the outcome of your application.

Don't stress it. Trust me, that reason for your denial is pure BS!
I hear there are faster and more favorable ways to obtain such visas now but I don't play like that.

Appeal the decision if you can wait it out, else, take the hit and move on.
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 10:17pm On Jan 10, 2019
They should have removed it from the CSV list if they have much south africans and PR holders who are more qualified and also IITPSA shouldnt have given me the certificate that am qualified for CSV.
Geenosko:

Yes but they said the skills he has, South Africans already have in abundance So he should probably look at the deep end of IT where the skills are really scarce. For instance security...

At some point this year, RSA may remove say occupations from the CSV list.
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 8:36pm On Jan 10, 2019
You can apply without a job offer from south africa and my skills are : Database specialist, System Integration Specialist and network Analyst.
armonai:

Hi KunleTune,

Sorry for this outcome.

did u just applied for the CSV without a job offer and required document from a company in South Africa?
Also was they a specific skill you chose and filled in the application form for the CSV application
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 8:30pm On Jan 10, 2019
I have a first degree in Computer Science and i have close to 7yrs work experience and my area of specialization are, Database specialist, System Integration Specialist and network Analyst. With the outcome i believe they dont just want to issue the visa.

paulavon:
It would be nice if you can give more details so that others can learn.
It would be necessary to know the course you had your first degree and your stated years of work experience.Thank you

.
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 8:27pm On Jan 10, 2019
Sure IT is broad and my specific skills are: Database specialist, System Integration Specialist and network Analyst.
Geenosko:

IT is broad o.
CSV has specific skill sets for IT
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 6:55pm On Jan 10, 2019
Thanks my field is IT. And the professional body I joined is IITPSA

Sorry about your refusal,
Which Critical Skill do you have?
That would be a good starting point.
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 4:16pm On Jan 10, 2019
Am a silent ready on this platform. I applied for CSV last yr nov and I received my passport today from UPS. I was denied.
The reason was just baseless I think they just don't want to issue the visa

So I tracked my visa application available for pick up and application was rejected only because of a forged SAQA evaluation I will never use an agent again please who has an insight into this can I apply for visit or tourist without any qualms?
Travel / Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by kunletune: 10:30pm On Jul 06, 2018
Pls kindly let me know how you go about the critical skill. thanks

I need advise and pointers towards getting a Critical skills Visa for S.A. Been on this journey since last year cos i needed to get SAQA and Critical Skills Visa (IITPSA) cos i am an IT Professional. Now i have gotten the required documents but i need advice on the under-listed.

1. introduction/recommendation letter from any employer. (No job in SA yet)

2. Verifiable Hotel reservation.

3. Verifiable Flight booking.

4. Written undertaken by employer accepting cost of deportation.

5. Written undertaken by employer to ensure my passport is valid.

6. How much should one have in their account to use for Proof of Funds.

I need someone that has gone via this route or know how to go about it. I will be very grateful. Thanks.
@Manager007, I have been following your posts and comments on here, I can see you have really helped a lot in getting visits/students visa. Now my question goes thus: I have lived in South Africa for over 2 and half years with visitors visa, Though i have applied for permits but was denied, the last permit i applied for was work permit but was denied and i appealed via VFS few months back. I left the Republic for Nigeria over two months ago to quickly get some things done. I tracked my appeal application which i had with VFS in South Africa and it showed it has been dispatched so i told a friend to help me check from an Immigration which is an Insider. He told me my application has been approved. Now, i am planning to get a visitors visa so as to be able to enter the Republic and claim the Permit as soon as possible. Please this post is not only for Manager 007, anyone could please respond. Thanks

Guys in the house, I Applied for my trv early this month, i paid first semester tuition fee which was $5100 the school is Vancouver Island University for undergraduate. I have been worried a little, i submitted all the documents requested and my mum was my sponsor. My fear is that in my travel History i over stayed in South Africa and i hope this won't affect the issuance of my TRV. i just pray ooooooooooooo..

Hi house, I hope all universities in Germany accept that someone should defer his/her admission?
Travel / Re: German Embassy And Visa by kunletune: 10:52pm On Aug 05, 2013
Hey guys, I haven't gotten my original admission letteer yet from university og applied science in Hamburg and my school is resuming sept 17th but I have paid the semester contribution and also send the acceptance form. Do u still advice me to apply for visa within the short period of time? Also can my sponsor come from south Africa or Belgium? Pls am very serrious. I camt wait to be in germany.
Travel / Re: German Embassy And Visa by kunletune: 1:05pm On Aug 04, 2013
Yes i havent book an appointment date yet and am also still expecting my unconditional letter of admission from the school as i have paid the 291.60euro which is the semester contribution and also sent them the signed acceptance letter. so hopefully this week i can get the letter. whats really giving me concern is this sponsor/blocked account. My uncle in belgium did sponsor a cousin 2yrs ago and it worked althiugh the guy applied in Gambia. I am in south africa presently but wants to come down to apply in Nigeria if all the documents are completed.
Godson201333:

well it is already late..You haven't even book an appointment date and its 4th august..

The embassy care about the date because they just dont issue visa.

But you could try your best.I hope that it takes about a month to process visa because its gonna get approved from German foreign authority in Germany.
Travel / Re: German Embassy And Visa by kunletune: 12:54pm On Aug 04, 2013
Thanks so much Godson for your tips.. They are all noted! So the person i have in Belgium cant assist now unless he lives in Germany. also is it not too late to apply now for the visa because the school is resuming sept 17th although they said arriving late doesnt mean anything.
Godson201333:

I posted this before and here it is again for those going for student visa Interview..

Questions:So what do you wanna go study in Germany?
Why cant you study in Nigeria?
what is your Major (core subjects)
Can you speak German?
Where are you going to stay in Germany?
Who told you about Germany?
How did you find the school?
what is the name of your school City?
what do you know about the city?(It is located in which state)
For How long are you going to study your course?
what are your intentions after studying?

Try to learn more about Germany like it got 16 states,(Mention them),It got 9 borders (Mention Them) just keep talking and talking until the VO interrupts dont keep quiet..

The VO might ask a single questions in between twice just to TEST you and just make sure your answers correspond!

Then the VO will says Okay we have forward your interview to the Authority in Germany and we shall call or e mail you very soon.Have a nice stay.

You need to sound brilliant if not you might be given written examination based on your interview answers...Just keep fingers crossed and answer question intelligently.

Just be able to convince that you are a student and not a pretender.
Travel / Re: German Embassy And Visa by kunletune: 12:27pm On Aug 04, 2013
Thanks Godson i really appreciate but i hv seen someone who got a sponsor from belgium and he was given the visa. even if i apply late for the visa hope there wont be a problem and also for now to get a space for interview is a problem. also do i need a proof of accomodation? pls kindly give me tips about the question asked on the interview date. thanks
Godson201333:

Yeah well you do not need a travel heath insurance until you have been given the visa,The visa will request for it.

So try to book a space for an Interview.

Nope sponsorship must be a German resident unless that person in Belgium is gonna help you with 8,000 euro.
Travel / Re: German Embassy And Visa by kunletune: 12:13pm On Aug 04, 2013
Godson, am new on here and i really need your guyz help, dont know much about using this forum.. please should i ask questions?
Godson201333:

To be sincere with you,

Please help your self,

Study german language at Goethe because they have alot of materials at the library and yes within a year it should be ready.

This is the only way you can prove to the embassy that you have serious intentions in studying in Germany. Its a very complicated language that requires hard work!.

I have gotten my admission already which is Bsc Information engineering from Hamburg.. I need answers to some questions which goes thus:
I heard German embassy doesnt accept sponsor from Nigeria but do they accept from anywhere in the world or only in europe because someone is trying to help me nw in belgium.
what are the likely questions for the interview..
do they ask for proof of health insurance and accomodation..
I keep checking online everyday but all dates are booked for the interview and my school is resuming sept 17th, can i apply anytime even after sept or its a must to apply before then, Please anyone could answer me i just need tips..thanks so much will be waiting for responses.

steelie: Its not all about grades. So don't let your grades discourage you. I had a 2.2 and the course i applied for had about 400+ applicants, and i still got a direct admit. Check edulix forum and see posts of 1st class indians that applied in German unis that got rejects. So my brother, you can't tell if you don't give it a shot. Just make sure you read the program requirements very well before applying, and it depends on the relevance of your B.sc to the program. As for your grade, you are very eligible, since its a 2.23 in german grades.

Thanks..

Okay thanks so much.. Then i think i will work towards the 1.8M because the person i have in Belgium who has an European passport is already sponsoring someone else and he cant do two at a time due to his salary. Pls can i know the likely questions asked during the interview and hope the consular's are very lenient. thanks

Rihannaola: Unfortunately, that would not work as the German Embassy doesn't accept any sponsors from Nigeria - in other words, it's either you provide a sponsor/guarantor who's got permanent residence permit in German or/and holds a German passport or/and is a citizen of the Federal Republic of Germany.
