Amanda4life:Yes. That is the right of every human being. Honestly!! The sense Of male entitlement in this thread is unbelievable! |
ADAMUdaCOWBOY:Definitely. Rude. Ill mannered human beings. |
Oh please! To the thread originator. Please please grow up. These r simply badly behaved men (which is far far goo common) Nobody deserves to be killed by any other human being. Nobody but the murderer is at fault. Please. Stop perpetuating these immature right wing psychopathic ideologies. So they helped another human being achieve their potential. So what? That is the right thing to do. U do not improve someone else’s life so that u can be their master or enslave them or make them work for you or your family. So, please. Just stop posting derogatory and inflammatory remarks about women. We r not your dogs or your better halves. We r we. Not yours. Thank u |
Has anyone seen the new Calabar Airport? Pictures would also be appreciated. |
I would like to add my thoughts to this discussion: GOOD HOSPITALS are made good by ALL the employees- from the porters to the managers and the doctors. In fact, the doctors are probably the least important. For any doctor to be effective, he/she needs a good supportive network of nurses, technicians and equipment. My experience of Nigeria is that most of our people are trying to make a buck whichever way they can. Take an example: order a blood test: Unless you have a clinical technician with integrity, an engineer who has kept the machine reliable, trust boards who invest the profits in the hospital, then that result is highly likely to be unreliable. Another example: trying to perform a simple surgical procedure: again, you need to ensure the instruments have not been stolen, the instruments provided are bought from reliable companies.... You get my drift? It takes a WHOLE society. We are nowhere near ready. YES I said it! Corruption is at a scale in Nigeria where it very literally kills. The rich know this and so go abroad. It is not that they don't trust the doctors.... They don't trust the system. You and I are part of the system. When we sponsor people into political office who are not ready or equipped for the responsibility; when we sponsor people into higher education that are not ready or capable of it; when we " dash" people money that they don't deserve..... Please..... If we want reliable and affordable healthcare, then FFS, give our doctors the support they need! Give the technicians the space to do their job. And it should start with each state, each town, each community, each street, each effing family! Now, if anyone wishes to deconstruct my points of view, I welcome this- BUT politely, thoughtfully and not with vacuous stupidity ..... Yes, I said it. |
IYA NGBALI: yes me 2lol i salute you..... |
redsun: For the man to be able to rule nigeria really confirms how primitive and backard nigerian society is.His nothing short of an ape in agbada.LOL I couldn't agree with you more. Keep it coming;reading the initial post and your response, I've had a really good laugh this year already. |
Ramblings of an old CIA fool; dancing to the tunes of his masters; refusing to put the wellfare of his people first; ingratiating himself with his masters; emotionally unfaithful to his people; enslaving himself and his people without the West using any physical chains; I weep for my people who are eternally blind to our uneducated bastard criminal leaders; QUICK!! Let that generation die but let us learn their history so we can never make their mistakes; Obasanjo should be MADE to tell the true story but then again, can the truth ever fall from the lips of a criminal and traitor? |
kingphemy: Credit where due...YES IT DOES.... you pay your taxes so the government can help you in time of need. Again we celebrate the mediocre....This woman is not the average Nigerian; she is a well known artiste. At any given time in Nigeria, there are thousands upon thousands of people suffering from her condition; there are also millions with no access to BASIC healthcare, which SHOULD be provided by the government through the tax system. Pathetic. What a stunt. |
ebamma2: Our Patience who art in Germany, illiterate be thy name, thy english come, let your grammar be spoken to germany as it is in nigeria, give us this cassava our daily bread, and forgive us who call you illiterate as we forgave you for your gbagauns,That is so funny. Thank u for this verse. |
Why does a citizen of nigeria need to leave " for a rest?" Is this explanation not odd? Gulible stupid nigerians and leaders who take the piss. See how pathetic our healthcare system is? Despite all their personal wealth and (let's face it, the wealth of the nation at their disposal) they cannot afford personalised care in their own country. Ha ha ha . Nigeria has a loooong way to go. Our lack of a basic welfare system is not just about money it is also about our mentality. |
Why are they on the trail of the lover? Is sex a crime in nigeria?. Please if u reply to this, I don'twant to bear a whole load of moralistic rubbish. If there is a statute in nigerian law I would be happy to hear it. |
Truckpusher- what are you talking about. Kindly enlighten us as I think you may be far too intelligent for this forum! |
So. Could somebody help me understand. I thought The major causes of RTAs were 1. Reckless driving 2. Poor roads 3. No road laws ( or road traffic laws not being adhered to) 4. Criminals Please, please i'm begging you to educate me on this ocada Regards. |
I agree. This place is a dung heap. Lol |
I'm confused. Why should we glorify our mothers for "suffering for us?" For goodness sake what are they supposed to do - have the child and do nothing for it? We are a useless society where doing the right thing is so abnormal, that when it happens ( eg a mother actually looking after its child) we fall into hero worship mode. Hiss. Society of failures and mediocrity. Hiss again. |
ifyalways: @topic, I see it as a responsibility, one that must be done as long as the money is available and the relative/student is the serious type.Idiot. The word has moved on! Do textbooks equate the cost of a foreign university? Does pocket money equate a £15000 annual fee? Prat. Nigerians need to stop asking for handouts and stand up strong and proud. WHERE IS OUR NATIONAL WEALTH? Why cant we see the bigger picture? Any relative who can afford to sponser a foreign education and is working in Nigeria is ONE BIG THIEF. There is no honest paid employment that allows that level of surplus. Honestly, we are born stupid. Is this really what the next generation are bitching about? |
Edicolove: great write-up. It is such a shame that the truth of the viciousness of arab rule and influence in africa is not widely known. I am always in fits of laughter whenever I see nigerians boasting about their "wonderful" times in arabia land. To top up the injury they have caused us, we then insult ourselves by taking illiterate arab girls for wives. Nigerians! We have a loooooong way to go. |
Our race is so blind. Of course racism is rampant in the world. But it is particularly brutal in the arab world. This is a wonderful forum to share knowledge and start ASKING questions. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-14507719 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-18552155 There are more stories if we want. |
kooto: If he is the domineering type I will advice please don't stay long in the house, if he is the opposite fine but still don't stay long there; why? it might suprise you that your wife may begin to have this bossy attitude afteral you are living in her father's house, which could bring problem between both of you; only very few women can resist been bossy when they are at advantage.it's bitter but it remains the truth because as a councellor I have seen many. Then u r a crap councillor. |
DailyNews: I forgot to add that if this brother-in-law happens to become a minister or a senator tomoro, it is dis same hostile wife that will be d first to remind d husband to meet his brother to give him contract, appointment or some other favors, so y create a hostile environment now? What a load of shit. U Now let me share this thought so that boys like u can learn: mind your business. |
Jakumo: Nigerians are generally at their most uncouth when aboard international flights, or in foreign airports. They hiss like serpents, or purse their lips and make squealing noises to attract the attention of cabin crew, NEVER say "please" or "thank you" for anything, and leave the entire cabin looking like the aftermath of a food fight by the end of each flight.Great post. |
[quote author=LeoMax]Your husband has been cheating for long, its just that this time you caught him. There is no proof he wont cheat again. You have to accept that men cheat including your husband. You cant leave your marriage because of the cheating. The decision to pay back when u are in good state is yours to make. But never leave your marriage for another woman and do not expect any man to be a saint. an average man is irresponsible sexually[/quote PLEASE. CHEATING is one of the major reasons for leaving a relationship. We are very mistaken if we think Sexual infidelity is only about cheating. It is about so much more. Poster, take your life and yourself very seriously. You are worth so much more than this. Never let anybody demean you and all that you stand for. Once again, good luck. |
ZUBY77: One problem we black men have created for ourselves is to embrace western culture with both hands. They came here with their churches and religion and imposed all sorts of rubbish on us. Now the whole shit is biting us. Its all in our minds and we actually hurt ourselves.Total F-----g rot. Better to die a free man than a slave. Perhaps if our idiot black forefathers adopted this attitude we wouldn't be where we are today. However, as enlightened humans, the female Nigerian shall show all you slaves the way. |
GET RID OF HIM! 1. He is clearly cheating on you. 2. He so disrespects you that he doesn't care that you know he is cheating; hence he takes 30mins to open the door. 3. There is NO LEGITIMATE MEETING that requires a locked door. In fact, on reflection, I think this is a joke situattion, right? If not, Are you mad? You leave/kick out this man ASAP before he destroys you. Good luck. |
How ridiculous th above response is! We can be concerned about both , you know. Neither is worse or better than the other. Both are gross abuses of power, |
