Seun its a thing of the mind, as u know in Naija, its the fella that pulls a four-legged monster thats d dude and happening one even if the ride cant go beyond Ijebu-Ode , just this morning I was actually thinking of getting a bike thats kinda safer than the conventional Okadas. At least to reduce the lagos traffic madness. Like I said if you can ignore the ''dem say'' syndrome, you are d man. |
ALL, hear NKC out, and ask urself, of all d cars marketed here which of em would be made in naija say in d next 5yrs? (fact! no be curse) moreso, all the makers of these cars, what % of full manual do they produce compared to Auto? I tell u can hardly get a new car now, (since 2000) thats manual, whether its a James Bond kinda driving O, cost of auto-gearbox=cost of car O, I feel say na auto beta pass, talking about the babyboy, what about auto gearbox for the newer models? are they as problematic? |
my broda teetalks, if u sell dis ur baby for more than N1m , lemme know, so I can give the buyer 50litre of Petrol (FOC), to congratulate am, |
ALL, especially @ Siena, I would suggest a forum to be created with a new subject title in AUTO folder to address issues such as what Siena had beed doing/had just done. or what do u think , Siena, I suggest you create the subject so you can serve your people better. cheers |
Siena my broda na Papa God go bless u O!!!!!! |
da Mileage is kinda high, lets have a clearer pics pic, maybe the offer can go up |
$7000 cash!, no story! |
Bump!! ![]() |
Good people, watsup with this Electronic stability program in cars- (ESP), from d explaination on a documentary I watched sometime ago - it seem so cool, Now, all these cars that are advertised here - has any ESP, has anyone used/tried a car that has it (practically). Kinda curious , I would recommend this feature in cars used on Abuja roads if it can really respond to a sudden braking etc. (dem say the sensor controlling the stuff process info 25 times/second), Siena, Ivvie, any comment? |
wats da Mileage man, did it come with the steering cover? |
Ladipo 4U! if u r in Lagos |
God Bless you Fyneguy- ABSOLUTE END OF DISCUSSION! |
mind u , when u want to move ur thread up queue - u mustnt use Bump. or bumpity, any comment takes it there, |
This topic could be expanded a whole lot. however, Mo money kinda explained the criteria for judging this. from all the posts however; I think its based on the make of cars individual has and where he or she has driven it, I would attend to this topic this way, lets consider one of the busiest roads in Naija- (Lagos-2-The East) on a very busy period, on the 23rd of last yr 2007, from my last count I noticed whilst I travelled past that axis, lots of SUV's that collapsed on the way -(Hummer, and all kinda V8'S That is a typical naija road, the fact that your SUV can shuffle very well on 3rd mailand bridge & Ikorodu rd doesnt mean it can do well on a real Naija road- as for me, when I need to do serious and rugged driving/travelling, I use my 20yr old camry(Manual) - it hardly disappoints- while the newer model is for town, (I dont know if a Naija driver is in this forum- They might be in a better position to say which is best, but have u wondered why they often use peugeot & Toyotas till date?) ![]() |
NKC , wats ur offer, I wan sell O!!!!! |
No way guy, I wont be angry, I just wan sell am, if I say its more reliable than a tokunbo , u might argue, in anycase viper buy or sell d ride 4 me, I need d pay! |
ehen lest I 4get, it has AC o!!, Let me borrow from Viper-- Bumpity!! ![]() |

, and why hath thou decided to sell?? ![]() |
Siena, is it true that imports such as car engines- and all what ve u from Japan are less used compared to those in Europe wit exceptions from Italy? , cos somehow somehow, most parts from the east ( Japan- Singapore etc) are more expensive . take a 99 camry engine for example, two identical engines with diff price and the Ladipo traders will tell u 100k for Japan/Singapore and 60-70k for Europe, WHY IS THIS SO?? ![]() |
Viper I no blame d way U take halla, I did same when I saw this one, http://www.mbusa.com/models/features/specs/overview.do?modelCode=SLR&class=08_SLR I think its a monster, small body trailer power. |
this guy has said severally that its his way of biz, no qualms lets leave him, afterall he's not charging b4 bringing u motor, however, Vanesa in ur first post u say u dont bring in expensive cars, perhaps ur expensive is relative, 4 me, I tink ur offers are kinda way above average on nairaland. |
Pictures pls |
Midas tanks though, I tot I was sure of wat I saw(not d episode) and it wasnt a FORD. but a Toyota Land cruiser. anyway, ur point was clear, but somehow on that day , Adam & Jamie were kinda amazed at the outcome. |
would advice u edit ur post though a nice one, as u can see , many people here fit no get wat u r talking about, I must tell u I have 2 even enter internet to check wetin e mean, so kindly define it well in easy grammer for naija people, so that plenty people go contribute, wat do u tink? |
Viper, u of all people suppose knw say u need put the car details, features etc, aha!,,, Mileage, where e come from, |
Yea I like this kinda posts, there's this belief that when u drive ur car with AC on, you consume more fuel, that was my thinking too until I watched this episode on ''mythbusters'' on discovery, amazed with the outcome that when an SUV was driven with a/c on and windows down consumes less gas than when d windows are wound up etc, pls gurus in da house , contribute, our Engineer in UK (Sienna-- not sure of d name ) ur comment pls. |
Ship down car wey person never see live, while u take full payment. and if the person no like am nko? |
so if you wash am e go be like this?
|
