The money is currently domiciled in the Central Bank where it belongs, so where is the fraud? yns4real: Tecno DroidPad 10D is the best! Tecno has superb flash (Front and Rear) while Samsung Tab E doesn't have.
In terms of OS version, Tecno Pad runs on Android 7.0 while Samsung Tab runs on Android 4.4.
Samsung Tab E has no FM radio whereas Tecno Pad has built-in FM radio .
Tecno Pad has an internal memory of 16g while that of Samsung Tab is 8g.
As per the RAM, that of Tecno is 2g while that of Samsung Tab is 1.5g .
Tecno can boast of 7000mAh battery but Samsung is around 5400mAh.
and many more
4G network capacity, nano SIM slot.
Note: My intention is not to rubbish Samsung Tab E. It is equally good but comparatively, it should rank behind Tecno Pad. Npower or the contractors choosed non upgradable Tab e. I wept when I saw the model. Using KitKat in 2018 is not funny. Nevertheless, form is temporary but class is permanent. Sammy rocks. |

Education › Re: Why You Shouldn't Squat In A Hostel by kurt09(m): 9:25am On May 05, 2018 |
iceboy4752: Squatting in its literal context can mean bending one's body. However, an average Nigerian may define squatting as living in a room with someone, illegitimately without paying for it.
Students in Tertiary institutions are well-acquainted with this connotation.
I will narrate what happened to me while I was squatting with a 'friend,' and I hope this story will urge you to face the bull by its horn and pay for an accommodation, no matter how cost it may be.
On April 7th, I came back to my room in the hostel. I met three of my room occupants, discussing alongside my 'friend,' something about me. They immediately switched the topic and started discussing about the examinations which were fast approaching. I noticed this, but I pretended I didn't. I wished I could know what they were discussing but I couldn't.
Suddenly, a bright idea struck my mind. I brought out my little Tecno 'torchlight' device and clicked on the sound recorder. I connected the phone to a charger and covered it with some clothes. Satisfied, i gave myself a mischievous smile and left.
Twenty minutes later, I came into the room and took my phone away. I went to the school's Pre-Degree Block, which has long been known for its extant tranquility. I bought out my earphone and played what i recorded. What i heard from my 'friend' was too repugnant and eerie for me to digest. He said I was bothering his life and that he wants me to get an admission for I took another UTME Examination with the motive of changing my course and institution. He also said that I haven't benefited him in anyway in his life.
The words crashed on my ears with so much weight that i felt like they would pull-off my ears from my body. I began thinking of how I've help him financially, physically and even to evade his emotional traumas, that they were too unlimited to count. I never did anything wrong to him, yet I was a nuisance to his life. What also fueled my disappointment was the ostensible compliment he made about me the previous day; he said he was going to miss me so much that he wish I won't leave the school.
Dear Nairalanders, even if you have friends or relatives who are willing to squat with you, it's better to pay for your own accommodation. A friend today may end up messing up your life tomorrow. Some may even do worse than what happened to me. Till grateful to Uniben for allowing us to squat in peace. I will build hostel for them soon. |

Politics › Re: T.A Orji, Ikuku Cannot Decide My Return To The National Assembly – Hon. Onuigbo by kurt09(m): 6:17pm On May 03, 2018 |
jpmorganxx: The contest for Ikwuano /Umuahia federal constituency seat at the National Assembly is already gathering dust, in this latest interview with the Honourable member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Sam Onuigbo, he talks about the abolishment of the unwritten agreement which stipulates rotation of the seat to each of the three local government areas that makes up the constituency in four years intervals, plus need to create quality political awareness that would liberate Abia people from the T.A Orji (Ochendo) and Ikuku’s bondage.
Please read the full interview:
Since the last election that took you to the National Assembly, can you tell us how you have been able to improve the lives of your constituents?
First, I would want us to discuss the recently heated motion I raised at the floor of the House, concerning the push for life imprisonment for any member of my constituent caught with a torn Nigerian flag. It was a motion I raised for the unity of this country during the IPOB protest in Abia state. It surprises me that till this time, the Honourable House didn’t deem it necessary to approve such bill, but they ended up yanking it off for lack of relevance. Whatever that brought rejection of such bill, I would want it to remain there.
Can we trace back to the history that brought zoning in the very position you occupy at the National Assembly?
That’s if there is any existing written agreement that says we must operate under a zoning arrangement. It’s so easy for people to talk about zoning, like it is what will campaign and sponsor one through the electioneering process. Some of us occupying various positions won our elections without the support of anyone. We directly got our mandate from the people through a voting process. We showed interest, and out of the number of the candidates that vied for the position, the people made their choice. Therefore, when I hear people clamour for zoning, I wonder if that is what would at the end of the day some the problems facing the people, or to even imagine if that is what will fund someone’s election.
How about the agreement that in the past brought power rotation before you?
If you insist, I will go down memory lane with you where Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency is made up of three LGAs namely, Umuahia north, Umuahia south and Ikwuano. Since 1999 the three LGAs has had an unwritten agreement on their representative pattern in the national assembly.
It has become politically observed since the coming of the 3rd republic in 1999, with Hon. Iheanacho Obioma, from Umuahia south taking the first shot between 1999-2003, between 2003-2007, it moved to Ikwuano and Emeka Atuma, took their turn followed by Hon. Stanley Ohajiriuka, 2007-2011 who got the privilege of representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency when it became the turn of Umuahia north.
Upon the completion of the first phase of the rotational cycle which saw the three local governments taking a turn of four years each at the green chambers to represent Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency, the new sequence which took off in 2011 had Hon. Udo Oluchi Ibeji, from Umuahia south doing a four year term that terminated in 2015.
Then came myself from Ikwuano, who some people believe was the next to benefit from the pact and that I’m presently manning the Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency seat at the national assembly because it was their zoning arrangement that won the election for me. Lies! With the type of support I got from the people during the 2015 election, if I had come from any of the benefitted LGs, I would have won with wide margin.
If the agreement was not followed as agreed by the three LGAs, why then was it enforced by the previous?
When I hear people say agreement, I keep wondering the type of agreement they mean. Is it written or unwritten one? An agreement was made, yes, but it is an outdated one. The world is getting digitalized, and we ought to reciprocate to that. Abia people need to improve on technological revolution that is ongoing. So far that agreement was never written or documented, I describe it as useless.
What is your relationship with the former governor, T.A Orji who many believe made it possible for you to fly under the Party’s ticket?
I have a very smooth relationship with him. His business is at the red chambers, while mine is at the green. We are all in Abuja doing the business of representation, which is to represent the good people of Abia at the National Assembly. I wish to stress this point categorically that T.A Orji didn’t influence the Party’s primary election to my favour. He was in the race to be at the Senate, while I was in mine, and there is no way he would have lobbied anything.
Many believe that since he controls the PDP activities in Abia with his son Ikuku, it means he made it possible for you to be adopted. You don’t think?
That’s absolutely not possible. Days are gone when a family would control the affairs of a Party or State like it is a family business. Though for Ochendo, it used to be like that before his tenure as the governor of our dear State ended. Right now, we are back to the normal. As he stands, he is not even sure of retaining his position, because it is going to be a free and fair primary exercise. It won’t be like the PDP of the old again. The failure experienced in the past is helping the Party to restructure. So, let me make it clear here, Ochendo and Ikuku cannot decide the fate of any candidate. If you are the people’s choice, it is a welcome development for you to contest and win. Smell Greed! |
Politics › Re: President Buhari To Arrive Nigeria Today - Femi Adesina Says by kurt09(m): 3:07pm On May 03, 2018 |
The deal Buhari signed in America
China is about to enforce new tax on American agricultural products in the next few weeks and President Trump needs new markets for American farm produce before calling the bluff of China. He approached Nigeria, Brazil and Argentina to take American farm produce in exchange for security deals. Nigeria is the highest consumer of Chinese soya beans in the world; with Nigeria signing an arms deal that includes military hardware transfer, 12 Tuscanos jets, training and parts, we can cut off China and embrace USA. So thought the President and his team!
Trump clearly stated he’s not interested in Nigeria oil or any other thing but to provide new markets for American farmers that will be affected by Chinese new tariff. He is not buying anything from us; he is not investing anything in Nigeria. He pure created markets for two business groups (Dangote and American farmers) represented by Presidents Trump and Buhari.
Here’s the problem:
Insecurity in Nigeria is preventing fathers from going back to their farms, therefore creating food scarcity and high cost of living in our homes. While Buhari will receive tonne of grains and other foodstuffs directly from American farmers in the next few months, crashing the food prices across the country, his decision will defeat his government’s hyped fertilizer program which encourages farmers to return to farm which in itself is a ruse - we know the havoc wrecked so far by Fulani Herdsmen invading and burning down farms across the country.
The twist to the whole charade is the inclusion of Aliko Dangote in Buhari’s entourage. You know Dangote right? The man who holds the monopoly right to import so many commodities into Nigeria without competition. No import duties and tariffs, just VIP clearance from the power that be.
The moment Buhari was signing those deals, Dangote was signing as the sole beneficiary of the importation. He is Nigeria in the deal, not Buhari who knows nothing.
Dangote gets a good deal to keep the monopoly intact, Nigeria army got their 12 fighter jets deals sorted too, Trump makes American Farmers Great Again.
What do Nigeria farmers, Nigerians get, HOPE!
