Madam,

With all due respect, there is what we call hardwork and standard.

30,000naira is nothing to write home about and is nothing been proud off. Why should he earn N30,000 if he is not able to settle his bills?

There read my post over and over again and you will get what i say. He can do a vocational job of monetize his skill and earn more...

You fail to understand that the more you accept ease the poorer you become.

I am a youth serving corp member, with one of the best results in my faculty... Even before graduating i am already working in 2 media house. I left all the comfort of salary summing up to 100k a month just 1 month graduating ( December ) to go for my business and ma i can comfortably tell you that today.

Only November last month i made a 409million + transaction banking a N19.4million profit. My accounts and statement and office records are there as proof. I run my office i do whatever i like, i sack anyone at will.

Mind you i wud have taken the easy path as a lecturer.

I worked for it and its paying me today. So if i can forget the comfort of a 100k+ salary a month to go struggle, i dont see why he should accept 30,000/month salary which will not sustain him for 3 weeks.

There is a reason why we have brains, its to think and work on what we think. Business is not all rosy yes i know that but even at worst case scenario business men are better than salary earners.

Its not growth to me nor a starting point.

Politics › Re: Rivers Rerun: Hon Boma Goodhead declared winner Asari Toru/Akuku Toru LGA by kurt09(m): 11:13am On Dec 12, 2016
gracepoint01:
After two long days of what seemed to be a fight for freedom against the powers of Rotimi Amaechi and the federal might to undermine the wishes of the people of kalabari in their overwhelming support of Hon. Boma Goodhead the PDP candidate for the Asari-Toru/Akuku Toru LGA, the INEC electoral officer has just declared Hon. Boma Goodhead the winner of the just concluded Rivers legislative rerun in the early hours of today.

It will be recalled that late last night an overwhelming reinforcement of mobile police and SARS men enveloped the community in a bid to escort the INEC officer away without announcing the results. However, it was as a result of this suspicion that her elder brother Asari Dokubo in company of other stakeholders stormed Abonnema, the headquarters of this local government to resist any plan of the military to undermine the wishes of the Kalabari people. He and her supporters sat

Late yesterday night, there were however reports of shootings in order to disperse the community youths who had come out to protest the continued delay of the announcement of the collated results of the election. Earlier on Monday, the youths of the community blocked the entrance and exit of Abonnema in order for the electoral officer to declare the results without being taken away by SARS men. It will be recalled that in the previous rerun few months ago Boma Goodhead of PDP had secured over 30 000 Votes in Akuku Toru LGA while the elections in Asari Toru was cancelled and postponed. Over the weekend She won over Six Thousand Votes in Asari-Toru LGA over her opponent Hon Dawari George who was an incumbent before the 2015 general elections. After collating the results Hon. Boma Goodhead scored 39,444 votes to defeat Hon Dawari George of APC who scored 8817. She won this election with the widest victory margin in any of the HOR elections conducted in Rivers State.

After the announcement there was wide spread jubilation and victory walk.

kahal29:
ACCEPTANCE SPEECH BY SENATOR- ELECT OF RIVERS SOUTH EAST SENATORIAL DISTRICT, MAGNUS NGEI ABE
First is to say that this has been a titanic struggle; it has been a very difficult two years for Rivers people and for all of us.
My victory in this election is a reward for faithfulness. I have been faithful to my party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). I have been faithful to my people, the people of the Rivers South East Senatorial District and I have been faithful to my leaders and I think God in his infinite mercies has rewarded me with this unprecedented victory. There is no victor, no vanquish.
I want to thank my friend and brother, Distinguished Senator Olaka Nwogu for his very kind and peaceful words, which he has expressed to the people of this state.
I also want to use this opportunity to extend a hand of friendship to the executive Governor of Rivers State, Barrister Nyesom Wike and to say to him that he had promised that there was nothing personal in this contest and he has said that if I win he will congratulate me. The only barometer for measuring success in an election in this country is the declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the commission has declared me the winner, I want to call on the governor to keep his words and send me his letter and words of congratulation because I have won.
I want to also say that Rivers State has suffered enough and that it is time for us to bring this contest to an end.
I want to thank my leaders, President Muhammadu Buhari, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, my wife, my family and most importantly, the people of Rivers South East Senatorial District. You have spoken and you have spoken loud and clear. We should respect your views. We should work together to make this district a better place for Nigerians to live.
I want to thank my colleagues in the Senate for their kind words, friendship and support and I look forward to joining them in the red chamber as soon as possible.
Thank you and God bless.

Each time I listen to folks talk about Rivers politics as it concerns Ameachi and Wike I just laugh.. Wike is dying in silence and all you people do is Hail him as the Don who is doing so well.... I may not be in position to give ameachi's other squad members but am quite sure with Ameachi, Abe, Dakuku and whoever ameachi is able to get a federal strategic position an ARMY is surely bin built and I wonder if Wike can handle them later. Becouse between their job roles and that of Wike, Wike stands a chance of falling out with his own squard than these guys. But overall aside the violence and death, I would say Rivers state is winning.

I must confess, of all fans, Arsenal fans are the most passionate and loyal. I respect you lot for that

Respect bro
I strongly disagree. Liverpool fans are the best. I respect them a lot. Can't remember the last time they won a major trophy.

Guys,
Latest information...

I called the man in charge of NAGRO under Aba South few minutes ago, he said that the instruction he has as at today is to clear only indigene of Abia State.

I think this explains the reason for the request of state of origin certificate.

Hopefully, the directive might be changed tomorrow.

Just to stay informed.
You might call other program coordinators to confirm if the directive cut across all the programs or wait till tomorrow to have a first hand information on how the verification is going to be done.

Have a blessed day /week.
It is not true. Verification is going on now.
