I entered uni same time with a FAM friend. But it seems I stagnated while he soared higher. 6 years later And I was still struggling to finish a bsc course while this my guy had finished, gone abroad for a masters program and was rounding up also at the time when my folks make comparisons BTW the both of us it was the worst feeling on earth not to talk of going to sxl to write exams with ppl who were in 100l when I sld have grad and hearing lecturers say something lyk I'd get suspended again or maybe expelled. That period was a difficult one and damaged my self esteem, drugs and intoxication always proved a respite but there's always the morning after. I became a recluse and my eyes grew to be sensitive to daylight. At a point it was hard to look my friend in the eye whenever he came home for hols.
With time I came to realise some times we just need to tow a harder path as a result for our mistake but nothing lasts forever..if riches don't, then definitely not any situation we find ourselves in. It took some time but I cleaned up my act and gradually out of my shell altho not fully..I remain an introvert till tomorrow.
Currently I have about 5+ months left to round up my youth service and that my friend is currently earning a mouth watering salary and driving his own car to work, I'm no longer bothered or feeling sad but happy for him.
So op, sometimes when depression comes the best thing to know is one day you're going to look back and remember the period with a smile. I can't really prescribe any cure for it, we just have to ride it out

Seeing as CR7 was a man of substantial talent, every thing he did was subsequently lionized by the media, in the hope that it'd somehow get him on level pegging with Messi's genius. We were always family friends and the two of us were very close.

we began this long distance relationship about 2 years back and almost every night we used to video call and talk on the phone.
