Messi is the greatest and best player to ever grace a football pitch. Stop looking at trophies they define team performance. Look at awards they define individual brilliance. And Ronaldo is no where near Messi on that. Some fools say Ronaldo is better than Messi at National level. But Messi has won the best player award in all the National tournaments World cup, Copaamerica, U20 wordcup. Now that defines individual brilliance.
Ronaldo on the other hand has not won any best player in any National tournament he has participated in.
Now pray tell me you dimwits who perform better at National level

Ronaldo would have not won Euro till Eder bailed them out. Portugal without Ronaldo held France to the last minute. Ronaldo won't have won UNC if not for Goncalo.
Ronaldo always have team mates that bail him out on finals. Now look at MessI, if Messi had team mates of substance and not a bottler like hugiaun who ruined clear cut chances, that rises up to the occasion. This argument would have ended a long time ago.

Ronaldo is nothing but a British media creation. Aided with luck and team solidity.
