I am currently without salary for 2months now. The present policy don affect the little money I bin keep. However, I can't find where she specifically called our country a Zoo. She said, when dishonesty is prioritized, simple things become difficult. ![]() I am now confused. I hope I get through this. I don't give a damn how I dress anymore. All some of us need is a moderate stable income to feed and pay the necessary bills and those depending on us,that's all. A contented person, now a frustrated one. Lord help me, cos, I don't want to go crazy due to economic hardship. |

deolu2000:People on this forum and many Nigerians alike just stand by the side and watch the politicians do their thing without asking them questions. Do you know that, in the article, it was stated that in 2020, Buhari's government got an approved loan of $501million for a Nigeria Rural Access and Agricultural marketing project. Now, this, under President Tinubu. The World Bank is expected to approve another loan request worth $500m by December 16, 2024, for the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project – Scale Up project. The added Scale-up to the name of the project... ![]() |

Whoever came up with that petition is a thief only fighting for his/her belly and seek to get more donations, mostly bitter women and opportunistic men lying about fighting for women and girls just to get paid. I have been involved in the this 16 day activism thing, so I know better. Bunch of criminals and selfish thieves everywhere using ignorant and vulnerable people to cash out. |

Well after reading the back and forth comments on Israel and Iran on the thread "Israel’s Defense Minister To Travel To US As Part Of Preparations To Strike Iran" by God1000. I saw this few hours a go form Axios and decided to share. The Biden administration has in recent weeks grown increasingly distrustful of what the Israeli government says about its military and diplomatic plans in the multi-front war it is fighting, four U.S. officials told Axios. Why it matters: The worsening trust crisis is magnified by Israel's planned retaliation against Iran for its massive missile attack, which requires coordination with the U.S. in case Iran responds. The Biden administration isn't opposed to Israel responding to the Iranian attack last week but wants it to be measured, U.S. officials said. "Our trust of the Israelis is very low right now and for a good reason," one U.S. official said. Behind the scenes: Two U.S. officials told Axios that during a call on Friday White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan told Israel's minister for strategic affairs Ron Dermer that the U.S. expects "clarity and transparency" from Israel about its plans to retaliate against Iran because it will have implications for U.S. forces and interests in the region. Sullivan was signaling that if the U.S. doesn't know what the Israelis are planning to do, it wouldn't automatically be on board to help defeat another Iranian missile attack against Israel, one official said. The U.S. officials admit that the U.S. would very likely help Israel defend itself regardless. The officials said Dermer stressed that Israel wants to coordinate with the U.S., but they added that the Biden administration questions how much it can trust that to be the case. Another U.S. official said the discussions with the Israeli government regarding Iran have been constructive. The White House declined to comment. The Israeli Embassy in Washington, DC didn't respond to a request for comment. Driving the news: U.S. officials say the Biden administration has been surprised several times recently by Israeli military or intelligence operations. In some cases, the U.S. wasn't consulted or notified in advance. Or, it was given a heads up as Israeli jets were already on their way to conduct an airstrike somewhere in the Middle East. The Israelis didn't tell the Biden administration in advance about the dramatic move to assassinate Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. Moreover, it took place several days after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told President Biden in the Oval Office that he was going to take steps to make progress toward a deal with Hamas to release the hostages they are holding and establish a ceasefire in Gaza. The U.S. was also in the dark about Israel's plans to remotely detonate pagers and walkie-talkies used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon and the assassination of the militia's leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut. U.S. officials said Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was fuming when his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant told him about the Nasrallah assassination minutes before the Israeli jets dropped their bombs over Beirut. Austin saw it as a breach of trust by Gallant because the late notification didn't allow the Pentagon to take measures to protect U.S. forces in the region, U.S. officials said. Israeli officials said Gallant told Austin he was ordered by Netanyahu not to notify the U.S. in advance. Another case that fueled distrust and suspicion in the White House was Netanyahu's flip-flop about the U.S.-led ceasefire initiative in Lebanon. Biden announced the initiative after his advisers understood from Netanyahu and Dermer that Israel was on board, only to have the Israelis backtrack. A senior Israeli official told Axios Netanyahu didn't backtrack on what he told the U.S. and claimed the reason for what happened was a misunderstandings between the parties. "We understood Biden's call for ceasefire was a beginning of a process and not something immediate. There was a mix up but we set the record straight," the Israeli official said. The latest: In recent days, the Biden administration raised questions with Israel about an order by Israel Defense Forces for Palestinian civilians in northern Gaza to evacuate south. U.S. officials said they are concerned this is a preparation for an Israeli siege on northern Gaza and that the Palestinians who leave won't be able to come back. The Biden administration told the Israelis such a move would be a violation of international law and of U.S. laws, U.S. officials said. U.S. officials said the Israelis told them they don't intend to permanently displace Palestinians from northern Gaza or impose a siege on the area and that it was a temporary IDF operation. But U.S. officials told Axios they don't know if they believe the Israelis. "They tell us what we want to hear — the problem is lack of trust," one U.S. official said. What to watch: CENTCOM commander Gen. Michael Kurilla visited Israel on Saturday and Sunday and met with IDF chief of staff Gen. Herzi Halevi and Gallant to be briefed about Israel's plans for a response against Iran. Gallant told Austin in a phone call on Sunday that Israel hasn't made a final decision about the timing and the scope of its retaliation against Iran, a U.S. official said. The Israeli defense minister will arrive in Washington on Wednesday for a 24-hour visit and is expected to meet Austin and Sullivan to coordinate and discuss the plans for a potential Israeli strike on Iran. "The Biden administration understands we are a sovereign country, but they want to give their input. We are going to respond to the Iranian attack. There is no question about it. But we will not do it in a way that will start an all-out war with Iran," a senior Israeli official said. Mynd44

Malcolm21:As you can see from the examples, we have 5 rows and 4 columns. So,the sum of (row 1,column1) and (row1,column 4) is divided by the number in (row1,column 2) to get the number in (row1,column3). I think that's one the rules to follow. Examples from the workbook: Always remember, the first thing to do is to Add(+) the first and the last numbers in each row as shown, above. Guide: your focus(ans) should be on column 3 after adding and dividing. (1) 4+5 = 9, then 9/9=1. 4, 9, 1, 5. (2) 3+4 = 7, then the answer(7) will be divided by the number in row 2,column 2(7) , 7/7=1(row2, column 3). 3, 7,1, 4. (3) 3+3 = 6, 6/2 = 3. 3, 2, 3, 3 (4) 2+7 = 9, then 9 is divided by the number in row 2(3), 9/3 = 3( the number in row4,column3). 2, 3, 3, 7 (5) 1+2 = 3, 3/3 =1. 1, 3, 1, 2 Exercises: (11) 7, ?, 4, 1 Solution 7+1 = 8, then 8/? = 4, to know the value of ?, you cross multiply ? = 8/4 = 2(B). 7, 2, 4, 1. (12) 8, 5, ?, 7. ... this one is straight. Just add and divide. Solution 8+7 = 15, therefore, 15/5 = 3(A). 8, 5, 3, 7. (13) ?, 1, 5, 4 Solution ? + 4 / 1 = 5 write it out as an equation and solve for (?) by crossing multiplying ? + 4 × 1 = 5 × 1, then collect like terms, ? =5 - 4, ?= 1(C). 1, 1, 5, 4. (14) 4, 5, 2, ? Solution 4 + ? / 5 = 2 Cross multiply, 4 + ? = 5 × 2, 4 + ? = 10, collect terms, ? = 10 - 4, ? = 6(E). 4, 5, 2, 6. (15) 5, 2, ?, 5 Solution 5 + 5 = 10, divide your ans 10 by 2=5. Therefore, ? Is 5(D). 5, 2, 5, 5. |

LibertyRep:Again, like Atiku said; a regressive and punitive policies. See, using opposition as a minister of finance won't help change things, cos there's corruption in Kenya as well, so the opposition is just a lucky guy there to enjoy. Regardless, even if it were Obi or Atiku who became the president, things won't have changed that much, as long as corruption is not drastically reduced. If their coterie of advisers are wise enough, they might be careful not to make blunder policies like the ones this tax collector did with subsidy and currency on the spot, only to look for ways on how the masses should pay for it without considering how big he and his guys are living. Normally, the economic technical chart of Nigeria in Buhari's administration was down trend, any fundamental news that is negative would continue to push the trend downward. After transitioning, Mr tax collector and his click of advisers thought making a fundamental news like that would make the down trend to find support immediately and reverse to Uptrend. So they could become overnight heros, since Abokiz like Buhari don't understand economics.. |
