It's idiotic to compare the East to the extremist North, for starters your comparison is clearly tainted with dishonesty and devious conjectures. The North from time immemorial have always been a live-wire for ethno-religious intolerance, their socio-cultutal mindsets are firmly embedded in conservatism and violence. The Igbos are found in every part of Nigeria but we have no records of ethnic clashes and violence with our various host communities across Nigeria...na just making money and vibes for Igbos.

The issue of "terrorism" rearing it's ugly head in the East is very tricky and not as clearly defined as just tagging it as terrorism...needles to say the security unrest in the East aside from being very recent, was largely caused by the Federal government of Nigeria which has been insensitive to the plight and genuine agitation of the South East especially in areas that address marginalization. There's so much at play in the East and there's evidence to suggest that many of these killings are not even committed by Igbos but political sponsors.

Lastly OP if we have to tow your logic, then the South West region might as well be designated as a terrorist region since the hotbed of ritual killings is higher there than anywhere in Nigeria, isn't it in the same SW region where dead bodies in graveyards are desecrated and their body parts mutilated for ritual purposes?
