Religion / Re: Why I Left Christ Embassy Church by kwaso: 2:47pm On Jul 05, 2017
i still believe that Pastor Chris was indeed called by God. I hae benefitted greatly. where he missed it up or mistook it(he he has) i dont know. I love the man. I pray for him. and i pray to God to help him walk his ministry through without these controversies. Is grae for one who has so muh as becks not derail. Abeg i am keen to know about the issues they separated
Marchman:
2. Sin Means Nothing at CE
Their teaching regarding to sin is so liberal. They rarely even mention it. The belief is that a Christian cannot sin, but only do wrong. The implicit message here is that ‘if you are saved, you are always saved’. You are a son of God and nothing you do or do not do can change the fact. In other words, heaven is sure. I am really not versed in the Bible to argue with this but what I know is that, this teaching is dangerous. It is like giving one a blank cheque or immunity from sin. What you have is a morally decadent church, starting from the top. Sexual sins are so rampant. You must have read the allegations of Pst Anita against her husband, that he was screwing some top female pastors. Such allegations are common in the church and I believe Pst Anita was very naïve in not understanding what was happening under her nose for decades!

It is not just PSt Chris that has been accused of fornication; his younger brother Rev Ken was also accused of impregnating a member of the South African Church when he pastored it. My friend who was in the church at that time (he also has left) told me that in all practical terms, Rev Ken had a harem in SA, with all manners of girls, mainly young university girls, living in his house. His wife was leading the church at Isolo, Lagos at that time. Apart of the Oyakhilome brothers, sin (or wrong-doing since a Christian cannot sin, according to their belief) is very common among the pastors and laity. Including me. I did a lot of things I’m not proud of as a leader, including fornication. But what struck me is that I was going numb, conscienceless in the church. No message speaks to my struggles to stay upright and not to sin. They do not even talk about such things. The focus of the messages is often on how to be successful, perhaps so you can give more money!

In summary, at CE, sin means nothing!

Honestly, am not surprised at all, the flamboyancy is too much, the show of wealth is too intimidating. Maybe if they dig more, they will find more. The poverty in Ogbia(Kolo, Amorukeni, otuogidi, etc is very funny)
Car Talk / Re: Reasons Why Your Car Vibrates by kwaso: 3:17pm On May 19, 2017
AutoReportNG:
I received a mail from one of our readers, the author complains of his car having some vibrations and I decided to answer him so that all can benefit from this as well.

Have you ever been driving your car and it shook so much you felt like you were on an amusement park ride? Well, here are three common problems that can cause a car to shake.

1. The most common reason for a car to shake is related to tires. If the tires are out of balance then the steering wheel can shake. This shaking starts at around 50-55 miles per hour (mph). It gets worse around 60 mph but starts to get better at high speeds.

2. Sometimes brake rotors can be the cause of shaking. If your steering wheel shakes while you are braking then the problem could be caused by "out of round" brake rotors. This vibration can also be felt through your brake pedal.

3. Another common problem that can cause shaking is when a brake caliper sticks on. When this happens you will experience a vibration through the steering wheel starting at 45 to 50 miles per hour. It will get very bad the faster you go, and you will also smell a burning odor when you stop.

The good news is that these problems are easily avoided or corrected.

The tire problem can be avoided by purchasing good quality tires and by having all of the tires carefully inspected when your car goes in for preventative maintenance service.

The brake problem can be avoided by including brake caliper service when your brakes are due for maintenance. This is particularly important for vehicles that have over 75,000 miles on them. And, like your tires, have all of your brake pads inspected as part of a regularly scheduled preventive maintenance program.

In fact, by sticking to your manufacturer’s scheduled maintenance program, you can avoid or predict these problems. Normally, the brake and tire inspections are performed when you have an oil change. In the case of customers who put very little mileage on their cars, this will be performed at the six month vehicle check-up.

Tires wearing in a strange way or having a wheel that's out of round can both be signs of what's causing a vibration issue. If one of the front or rear brake pads (out of four) is seen wearing more than the other, this is a sign that the brake caliper is sticking.

Family / Please Advice: Did I Really Offend Her? by kwaso: 2:49pm On Mar 08, 2017
Hi Everyone,

My best friend’s babe who (the lady) is also my paddy was invited for an interview in my organization. She was so excited about it and kept asking my possible interview questions which I was happily mentored her cos we both would love to work in same place.
THE WHAHALA: On the morning of the interview, I got a mail asking me to represent my supervisor who had another pressing need to babysit.(Ordinarily, i wouldn't even want to be part of it) When she worked in to the room and saw me, she lost composure and all the garagara she was putting up sizzled out. Me, I just acted like I never knew her. When it was my turn to ask her question, I simply asked her a question I considered simple (a question she had played with easily during her rehearsal with me) because other panelists had already worn her out with questions. To my greatest shock, she started stammering and couldn’t remember again. The HR wrote her out.
Now, she is really mad with me because I didn’t tell her I was going to be in the panel, I couldn’t influence her engagement and funny more, I seem to be losing her friendship. Please how can I help her get out of her mood?

[Its very wrong to assume that 1in every 10persons in NG is living with the HIV virus. I support HIV program in NG. Is wrong. For testing, we widely use our national algorithm for testing esp in public and most private health centres. The Rapid kits commonly used is Determine strips (as first line), Unigold & Stat pak as confirmatory and tie breaker respectively. These are of course blood testing.
Its better to access this service from a health care provider like a lab personnel or a counselor for comprehensiveness

quote author=magicminister post=47385686]

What is the name of your "retro-viral" kit?
Is it a blood test or a saliva test strip?

There are only 3 FDA approved home test Kits for HIV

1- ORAQUICK: this uses saliva. Can only Detect HIV Anti-bodies after 3 months of infection. Costs about 40-60 dollars (appx 15k)

2- ORASURE HIV1: Uses saliva. Can only detect HIV 1. Contains 100 strips and costs about 1600 dollars (appx 400,000k)

3- Home Access HIV-1 Test System: Uses blood. The blood sample is collected and then sent to the lab. This one isn't feasible so i did not really look into it.

I am not trying to discredit you but i have never seen you say you tested a girl and she came out positive!
With the HIV prevalence rate (1 in ever 10 person) in Nigeria, i would expect that by now, you should have come across a couple of HIV positive lady.
