Jobs/Vacancies / Re: If I Search For Work One More Time And Didn't See I'm Going Into Stealing Or Yah by Kwenty: 9:00pm On Apr 25, 2019
My dear I understand your plight but you have to calm down. I know you made such comment out of depression. But believe me, crime is never an option. It's unfortunate that people who are in the position to help others always turn deaf ears to their problems. That's why I keep praying for uplifment because I can't hear the cry of distress and ignore.
Keep faith alive and look for something legit no matter how small. Your breakthrough is just around the corner. DON'T GIVE UP!

A lot of male haters on this platform. Why call her names? Did she force a grown man to be with her? You men delights in pulling women down, yet you people cant do without them. Pots calling kettle black is too much here. Abeg happy birthday to her.

Looks like GNLD packaging. You can never find anything about those fake recruitment agencies on Google search. The way they operate is very irritating. Why hide behind job vacancies to lure people into MLM and claim it's entrepreneurship? Nonsense!

Good morning nairalanders,
I am a lawyer who just applied for one of this bank jobs precisely Access bank. I am xo poor in maths thats y i ran to Art class in secondary school.

I need online materials that i can read and understand easily. In other words, materials that would be helpful for the exam.
God bless u.
Is it a core staff opportunity or contract job? Are you going to work in their legal department or branch operations? If the position is not in their legal department as a core staff; better face front and pursue your law career, unless you read law for fun.

I didn't mean any harm with that post, just to enlighten fellow Nigerians, so that the will know what working as a contract staff in GTB is all about...

Is it something bad?
Even my comments on that post I can't find.
You see why moving forward in this country will be very hard. Truth is silenced and swept under the carpet. He who have ear should better hear. Don't rely on contract job in any bank at all, if you don't want your career to be rubbished. Take such offer for experience sake; develop yourself and find your way out. They are pure slave masters and no NLC covering.

Sorry for the loss. It is indeed painful to lose a loved one but then such is life. You have to bear it and console yourself. Life must go on no matter what.
Considering the higher pay for the job in South South, low cost of living, less stressful etc; I think you should give it a shot. Time heals wound. In a short while you will forget the loss and make new friends.

You people have been posting this same job opportunity since October. Does it mean you have not gotten qualified persons to fill the vacant positions or the companies welfare package and salary is nothing to write home about that people are running away.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Why Are Some Bosses Abusive To Their Employees? by Kwenty: 8:55am On Nov 29, 2018

Many employees in Nigeria are not worth the salaries they are paid. They are only interested in the salary without significant output to justify their pay rate.

The solution is simple. Start a business, hire some employees and your opinions about employers will change overnight. Work ethics seem non-existent in Nigeria. Just hire to fire.

/
You set a standard for your business and communicate your objectives, policies and sanctions to your staff and implement it when necessary.
It is different from unprofessional attitudes of physically abusing or insulting your staff or wicked and malicious act of withholding their salaries for no good reason.
You are the one to maintain work ethics in your business by constantly training and reminding your staff of your core values. You are free to sack who refuses to conform and not being unecessary insultive and abusive.

My sister, that's the situation we found ourselves now.

I am resently in a similar situation, where both the MD (the mother) and the operations/Hr manager (which is the daughter) are very rude, abusive, they believe the little change they are paying you, they can lord over and use and also talk to you any how.

I created a thread about similar things, though from the advice I got from some people here, I had to withdraw my resignation letter.

But yesterday was the hight of it, I was called a basterd, told that they have been told that all island boys are always Agbero, that I am an agbero boy. (that was the statement from a suppose HR manager).

If not that I have not been paid this month salary, I would just carry my bag and leave immediately, but, that company is a place where once you leave or resign, without your salary, you will not be paid.

This December is my last month there by the special grace of God.

You can go through my thread and see.
Chai! person don suffer for this country. So many bosses are like that; some even slap or beat up their employees. Well, will you blame them when there is no employee protection in Nigeria. God dey.

Please how can i send a complaint to Head Office?
First try resolving it within the branch through the branch Manager or escalating further to the Regional Manager before going to that extent. It must surely be resolved.
Another option is calling Firstcontact or writing them a mail.
