Are u sure he is not living with another "wife" in the african an country he's doing business? Chances are there is someone new and he does not know how to end ur marriage with him for the new woman. |
How is marriage an achievement? Are u saying reverend fathers, sisters, monks and other "callings" that demand celibacy are under achievers? |
I guess it does the same thing that Anointing oil does. Back to the question. |
They will keep dropping this news items because they fully understand that the average Nigerian home and abroad only knows how to debate endlessly without taking actions, be it sustained protest or revolution. All our BBM fones, NL, Twitter, FB, 99.3 TALK FM, SMOOTH, and others are primarily for endless debates on national issues. They should go ahead and remove the subsidy, if it even exists in the first place. After that, will they have any other thing to remove?? |

To the legal advisers in the house: Do they have a case? On whose land will the republic be formed when it is crystal clear Cameroun wont let go of their Nigerian dashed Bakassi for anything in the world? |
I just saw the video of the killing. I have never ever witnessed such level of wickedness all my life. No matter what those boys did, planking their brains out, setting them ablaze like goats is unthinkable. Am we call ourselves human beings? And nobody even gave them the opportunity to confess and repent even at that point? Indeed, the heart of man is wicked! |
The senate and FG have always been condenming acts like this sine the inception of this administration. Do they think condemnataion will bring an end to it? Address the fundamentals that are giving rise to things of this nature. Good leadership to curb the frustration will do more than mere condemnations. |
Soon we will hear "The Federal govt have constituted a Committee to investigate the Aluu 4 Killings" Yet nothing tangible will ever come out of it.If an wrong, what has come out of Farouk Otedeola investigating committee work? Is that not enough to fuel jungle justice. The students were victims of a failed society. |
ayorhh: a really sad storyI am yet to see the video but the pix above got me thinking Irrespective of what they did, they did not deserve this inhuman treatment at all. |
packaging: countdown to OCT 22... I shall not b disappointed again.. Mosha Allah !!!
favour is urs in Jesus name,d visa is urs u ll come and testify.
What do I see, A combo of Jesus and Allah? |
There we go again. If they miss Dana Crash, They narrowly escape Boko Bombs, They survive death from flood, They avoid death from robbery attacks, They eventually commit suicide. Is the land cursed? |
The pix shows that those boys were well fed and catered for. Thats all I can see. |
Everybody is snapping in the streets of New York, Los Angeles, Toronto,London, beaches of Florida etc and posting online. Why dont they snap in the slums of Ajegunle and post online. Is identifying with AJ only predicated on the need to sell copies of music videos and Nolly wood movies? |
superior1: We suppose to be running a Federal System of Government, right?. I mean some states in the North even adopt Sharia law. Good point How is this Lagos law and the ones b4 it different from Northern states position on Sharia Law? |
Everybody is entitled to their opinions however, our men of God should realize that the pulpit is meant to share God's word of love based on the scriptures not their own individual opinions. |
kunletiwoo: So touching! Well, send your C.V to 'hrdservice@netcomafrica.com' apply as a support staff. Let your academic qualification indicate awaiting result and let's see how it goes. Not really assuring you buh try it.How sweet to see reassuring response to someone in dire need of assistance. Kudos Kunle @Poster. Be positive, hopefully help will come your way. Dont hesitate to solicit financial assistance even in NL if need be to achieve your academic dream. I will gladly contribute my "richman's" mite if it comes to that. |
Just wondering. Can Ben Bernanke say this to the America Congress? Even when he was in First Bank, did he not have a Board that he reported to? He does not want anybody to review his work, little wonder why he said Nigerians were wasting time talking about him during the N5000 note saga. Why dont he resign and go into nomadic farming if he wants no one to play oversight roles to his job? |
Cant they at least share more light on what the object look like? |
Have I not read this story and so many of them in NL B4? |
damn 3private jet for one individual?? what is he even preaching sefUna nor go kill person! |
Why take her to a hotel when ur bros has agreed that u bring her home? For crying out loud, this girl wants to meet your family. There is no better time to assure her that you love her other than now. Except if you guys are merely seeing without any plans for d future. Let her come to ur brother's house. The sardine sleeping arrangement as funny as it sounds is just perfect especially since ur brother and his wife okayed it. If u must blast, u can do shortie in a nearby joint and pay shortime. |
CHESSBOARD: Was She once a Boxer?, afam4eva: Parkinson? Was she ever an athlete? Why all the was she, for pete's sake this woman is alive. Little wonder why she advised "We should have love for our fellow Nigerians irrespective of their NATIONALITY". Copyright P.J.2011 |
Airline blacklisting "paying" customers, when did airline start selecting customers? 2 much money? |
MRAE: Thanks for the reply. In the villages, lots of people pocket can drinks and settle down to drink the bottle ones. I have actually witnessed this same attitude in the cities as well. I think this happens because can drinks are potable. You either have a mix of can and bottle drinks or better still, do only bottled drinks. |
From experience, can drinks will accompany your guests home by way of "take away". Buy bottles. However, transfer the risk of loss or bottles and replacement cost to your in-laws by giving them money to buy the drinks. That way, they will appoint someone to take charge of picking bottles etc. On a final note, if you are budgeting say N300k for the marriage on account of the list they gave you, make an arrangement for additional N120-N150 if the marriage will actually be holding in the East. |
2Mekus: Now what kind of rude choice is that? There has not been any announcement on official increase of the price. Why would it be the same marketers who are paid billions of dollars in subsidy that will give me such a devilish choice to make?Bro, direct your question to the so called authority. I only gave you that information to prove to you that you could get the same product at the same so called official rate of N97 per litre in those fuel stations highlighted. At least if I was comfortable with the N110 per litre they offered, I wont nt have moved out to discover those other places that the price is normal. If you and I accept everything they push down our throat hook line and sinker, they will be reenforced to keep increasing the price arbitrarily. |
Knowing too well that Nigeria is not immune from natural disasters, one can only say thanks for sharing. |
You have a choice to buy at that price or move elsewhere and buy at the normal price. FYI. Fuel stations along Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Berger Bus Stop, Ibafo, Mowe, Redeem etc sells for N110 per liter worked out with a calculator while the metre still read N97 per litre. However, fuel stations in the island, precisely Total-Sura, Mobil-Onikan, Oando-Marina etc still sell for N97 per litre with no queue. |
omosexy1: You have said it all. I wonder why Sanusi always want to kill straight. The man has no business sense. I will not blame him because he is a risk professional. Our economy is not expanding but revolves around these debtors, if they cannot finance their business of what use do we have an economy especially when we cannot expand by supporting SMEs/Start-ups. Sanusi is stiffening our economy, these debtors will begin to cut operating expenses in other to survive (I give them few years to wind up) thereby pushing more employees to the street and increasing the number of unemployed people in our society. The same society Jonathan, Ngozi and Sanusi vowed to provide JOBS. This stupid directive has a triple effect, Government Tax Revenue will go down (Tax from Employment Income and Corporate Income) thereby infrastructures that should be provided will no longer be available (well they are even yet to implement 2012 budget). Is it because the Government depends largely on Oil as source of Revenue that they are so blind to see that Sanusi wants to kill everybody. At the same time, these debtors should try and service their debts. I do not know if they don't have sound financial management where they should critically analyse their borrowing cost. THIS IS BAD FOR THE NIGERIAN ECONOMY. SANUSI MUST GO.Nice piece. When a sound economists talks, he xrays the impact of economic policies on all spheres of human endeavor both the micro and the macro (ECO 111) However, with a bit of fundamentalism, an "economist" with an Islamic background would always clamor for the annihilation of anything infidel be they religious infidels or financial infidels. |
