Acidosis:Is this exactly why almost all the prayer points should center around Daddy G.O and Mummy G.O? |
If the reasons u gave are anything to go by, the stations whose licenses should be withdrawn are NTA and RADIO Nigeria |
SirVee:A comment attributed to him on star fm this morning had it that Sanusi said the 13% derivation given to the naija delta without allocating some revenue especially to the north easterners is one of the reasons that gave rise to the uprising by Boko Haram. When Kano had groundnut pyramid etc, did they share the proceeds with other regions of Nigeria? GEJ was right afterall when he said Boko Haram members has infiltrated his govt. |
I observed among other prayer points, prayer for Daddy G.O. featured most. No prayer point for president, governors etc? |
olsmade:Pineapple don dey grow for tree for naija now? |
IT softwares. |
Is this a problem in any way? |
This response only succeeded in confirming all that it set out to deny. Is Reuben not fast loosing it? |
This is good news. Has the president now realized how hasty his purported plan to dialogue with Boko is? Boko is now dictating the tone for the dialogue. If USSR as big and powerful as it was, If Yugoslavia,Sudan etc could break up, lets happily welcome the 2 or 3 nations that are coming out of nigeria. |
aminu150: hillsate:Hm, typical nollywood. Most things are becoming just too glaring these days. |
Actor in Yoruba movies? |
Since we have no use for law and judiciary any more, why dont they close all the prisons and court houses so that every petty thief can enjoy amnesty just like militants and corrupt govt officials? |
Wait a min. Is NOI celebrating this or what? That it fell from over $60b to the around $32b and grew by a mere $1.046 in about a month is a cause for cheers? |
queensmith:Semanya? I tot he was a woman.Was nt he/she? |
norrisman:These arrests are just for show. We are getting to a point when we can assume that some innocent civilians are paid "arrest allowance" to be paraded on tv as suspects just for the world to assume someone has become serious overnite. |
Kudos. At least this time no gaffe! |
One Nigeria! And the govt is busy preaching to foreign investors to come and invest that Nigeria is safe!. |
Same reason why cattle herdsmen are allowed to go about in "Daga" and knives for self protection while every other person would be arrested for doing same, is exactly the reason why all the butchers in the north will go unpunished. We are in 2 different countries in Nigeria. |
Who dey do us for this country sef? |
If this song nor win award,I wonder which song should. |
The governors' selfish interest in signing and obeying the terms of those agreements may have been such that they could use BH as militias to quell oppositions for their smooth embezzlement of the state treasury. Nothing else would have justified those agreements on the parts of the 2 ex-governors mentioned. How short sighted they were. |
Military "eat" money but they also build infrastructure eg, 3rd mainland bridge, all the 3 refineries, roads etc. Military guarantees security. Civilian embezzles money but do nothing other than increase the woes of the populace eg. fuel price increase. Civilian does not guarantee security eg. Militancy in Obj and Yaradua era, Boko Haram in GEJ era. From the most recent experience, both of them suffocates freedom of speech and freedom of association and protest. The choice therefore is obvious. |
SMH Speaking further, Bishop Oyedepo said, "if it is the wish of God for the country to break up. God, break it now."
Everybody knows North and South was not meant to be together. I think this is the koko. |
Truth be told. Ringim job is 100% intact with or without the 24 hrs ultimatum. |
Is the color green or blue pls? |
But the intl media and CNN in particular should nt expect all protests to be like those of Tunisia or Libya. Did they expect naija boys to set themselves ablaze to be taken serious? I think the reason cnn did nt cover the protest is because america is a stanch supporter of GEJ at least for now. |
frosbel: |
This is getting very serious. What is this govt turning into by unleashing soldiers in the streets? In the light of this soldier development. do people still hurry to say "the worst democracy is better than the best military regime? |
With all the hype about Dangote's export of cement, we still import cement? |
May be its time we started praying MFM prayer, all the die die prayer for the enemies of Nigeria whether they be leaders or followers. |
Dont be surprised if subsequent reporting on Nigeria takes the shape of North Korea and Iranian models. When someone presses the self destruct button, dont blame the western media. |
