How I wish I could burst but the main election is still there after the primary. Na on low key for now If not of Burley stupidity, Leeds should have been in the championship now... But let's wait |

I can see that Lawan is not leaving any stone unturned. let's see how things play out. Lawan came with a game plan and he's executing it rightly But he won't win sha Osibanjo is someone we should watch out for |

GreatrAnalyst: Yeah brother, consensus, but Buhari's body language doesn't look like someone who is going to favour Tinubu, far from it. You recall Buhari's statement that someone can't sit down in Lagos and be controlling or dictating blah blah...?
Without consensus candidate, no one would have won against Tinubu among all of them. But consensus is just a way of outwitting him out. Somehow, I am afraid, even the consensus candidate won't likely be Osibanjo. A lot of political chess moves are in place already since Atiku won PDP candidacy.
Well, days are counting down already. We will see. Everything will be clear by Sunday |

GreatrAnalyst: I am never pro-Tinubu; he made blunder with that speech, but mind you, north has already concluded on what to do with him either he made that speech or not. That speech was that of a man about to drown who is clutchibg on everything possible.
Are his motives right? Never! You don't become President because you feel entitled.
But truth is, without Him, Buhari wouldn't have truly emerged. Babachir saying others supported him, who are the others? North supported Buhari, but would only North would have made Buhari win? Amechi used Rivers money yet APC couldn't even win Rivers. Tinubu was actually instrumental, both money and votes.
It is what it is... Northerners would always back themselves regardless of even if they are wrong - Wike has learned of this in the most recent. Not knowing or learning from history will make someone repeat error of history. The North did this to Awolowo, MKO, and even the Igbos. We all know that it is the North (led by Gowon) who would never allow the Igbos to go their way because the unity of one Nigeria pays the North the most, even though they contribute the least. Still happening today.
This isn't about tribes, it is about being objective. Tinubu has already played into their hands with this his speech. But even without this speech, Buhari doesn't look like someone who is ready to reward Tinubu. It was either him or osibanjo in the consensus list, this is well known, just that buhari favoured osibanjo him.... |

mastermaestro: You have spoken facts. Buhari stands like a father figure in the North, that’s why opposition politicians up north would dare not insult his person or policies.
After watching Tinubu’s speech where he belittled Buhari, I knew it was over for him. Buhari will dare Tinubu now. Whereas the president had been trying apply a persuasive pacifist method in picking a candidate, but it appears the Lagos baron has obviously preferred the hawkish approach.
Buhari is going to pick a consensus candidate with all the Northern governors and loyal southerners backing him. If Tinubu blows hot, he should be prepared to take explosives. Nothing for Tinubu |

onatisi: i want to believe age played a big part in yesterday mistake by tinubu , a younger tinubu would not have made such a serious political implicating statement like that . there will definitely be actions and reactions within the political class and one thing is that many politician from outside the south region will not want to associating much with him even dapo abiodun of ogun state may not invite tinubu for his campaigns because people will believe that once you invite him , everyone will think he is the one that won the elections for you. tinubu last hope is now to win the apc primaries if not ,yesterday statement may actally end his political relevance Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you |

fergie001: “First, we have 23 aspirants that we interacted with and my first comment is that we are indeed a lucky party. The point I want to make is the quality of the people that want to govern this country,” Oyegun said.
“We are a governing party and so the ability to lead, the background, experience… it is on the basis that we made a shortlist. I won’t want to read the names, I’d leave that to you, but we brought the number down to 13.
“We could have cut it a little shorter but we wanted the younger elements to surface.” Oyegun said this.

Proudlyngwa: currently it won't, soon it will, there is global grain shortage, Moreover why would you want rice coming down since you want to go into it.
In production, you have to consider land, effort, type of grain plus other variables, so why should it come down, if the variables don't favor it coming down. Just a wishful thinking before I go into farming Just a break from high cost of goods nothing more |
