Following a brawl at the Ntycee Lounge and Restaurant in Lagos Friday March 8, where rapper/singer Lynxxx had reportedly assaulted a UK-based Nigerian businessman, Richard Bennet, the matter was taken to court recently and now Lynxxx, is facing litigation at an Igbosere Magistrates’ court for allegedly beating up Bennet who is asking for N10m damages for assault and battery.

Chukie Edozie who goes by the stage name Lynxxx had reportedly reacted in the club when Bennet was said to have sexually harassed and assaulted his manager’s cousin, Nikki during a birthday gig for singer, Praiz.

Lynxxx was with his manager and some friends at the time and Bennet also called Pope who was said to own two bars in Nigeria and the UK, in his claims, explained that he had gone to Ntycee with his nephews to relax.

According to reports, Bennet said it was while strolling around the club that his drink spilt on a lady who allegedly slapped him and emptied the content of her glass cup on him.

“Edozie on learning what had happened, grabbed me by the lapel, and later broke bottles and threatened to kill me if I did not apologise to the lady who I later learnt was his relation,” he said.

The fracas led to the club being closed by the owners of the bar.

Bennet claimed that Lynxxx and his friends remained at the gate, regrouped and later forced themselves back into the club where they “brutally assaulted me with several blows to my head and body.”

How would you feel if you play the game knowing who you are competing with for the same country vote?

Well, in the Housemates’ Arena task(Airtel Showdown) , Big Brother for the first time made Housemates meet and know who they are competing with for the same country vote. The task(Airtel Arena Showdown) was intended to find out the two Housemates to be swapped to the other House.

Airtel Arena Showdown kicked off on a happy note as Housemates looked moody, ready to compete and win. The chasers were required to go through a simple maze, get the balls and fill the Cylinder. The showdown was to end as soon as the first cylinder is filled.

To make this work faster and fill the cylinder , Housemates employed a strategy of carrying the balls in their pants which was a success to the Boys but proved a failure when Huddah tried to carry some balls from her Bikini!

As the showdown came to and End, the Diamonds were announced victorious as they filled their cylinder before the Rubies. This implies that Diamond’s HOH Feza will have to choose the two Housemates to be swapped.

For the second Head Of House competition in the chase, Diamond’s Betty and Ruby’s Selly have won the endurance tasks
Housemates were required to keep their hands straightly whilst holding baloons and the last man standing was to be announced the New Head of House. The task started from the Diamonds House and after a couple of disqualifications, Betty and Huddah remained the last ones standing but Biggie announced Betty as the HOH because her arms were more straight than Huddah’s.

The same task was taken to the Ruby house and at the end of it Selly, was declared the winner. Selly and Sulu were the last ones standing but just like Biggie did in the Diamonds, Sulu lost to Selly because his hands were a little bit bent.

This is raising anticipations for next week as both the winners are up for this week’s possible eviction and should they get evicted,their runner-ups will replace them.

We hope they do survive the evictions and enjoy their Hoh reign.

In The Presence Of His Family Members



Disturbing news from Calabar indicates that a director in the Department of Works in the University of Calabar, Mr Friday Sampson, was Monday night swept away by flood in the presence of his family members.

Facts emerged that Sampson, along with his son, Ime, had driven to the U J Esuene Stadium to pick his wife who returned from Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, on Monday evening during a torrential down.

On his way back, there was a traffic jam, and in order to find out what was causing the gridlock, he went out of his vehicle and accidentally stepped into a gulley along IBB Way which swept him off his feet and consumed before sweeping him away while his wife and the 18-year-old Ime shouted helplessly.

Search parties mounted by the family and friends to fish out the body yielded no result after two days of frantic search.

Patience Sampson, the first daughter of the man, said: “The family was coming back from the stadium where he went to pick our mother who came back from Uyo and along IBB Way, there was a hold up and my father blared and blared his horn but the car in front did not moves. so he stepped out to find out what was going on and mistakenly stepped into the gutter and was carried away.”

“The rain was falling very heavily and the flood was rapid so my mother and younger brother could not do anything to rescue him while he was being carried away by the flood,” she said.

Patience said the men of the Cross River State Fire Service were contacted to help fish out the man that night but all efforts, throughout Tuesday and Wednesday morning have not yielded any result.The Information Officer with the University of Calabar, Mr Henry Eyo, reportedly said the matter had not been officially reported to the school authorities, but that he heard that somebody like that had died.

Was the guy aware that he was going to feature in a porn movie?

Yes he was. And again, not a porn movie, but he knew he was going to get naked in the movie and he willingly did it.

Why did he want to pull out?

It’s a long story and I think I already addressed that already in one of my interviews.
How do you deal with advances from men?

I don’t deal with that at all.

What is your impression about gays?

A Kenyan man burnt his wife for being too beautiful after being married for more than two years.

John claims he abused his wife because she would cheat on him on several occasions, an accusation Janet denied saying it was him who broke the marriage with his infidelity.
