PoliticsA Referendum For All Nigeria by kYjelly2(op): 11:48pm On Nov 29, 2015
I really think we need to be honest with ourselves and seek peaceful, extremely peaceful means to split this country.

Yorubas can get their country and hold it to high esteem, preserving their culture by controlling immigration and so on.

The Igbos can get their Biafra that they have been clamoring for over decades and control immigration.

The Hausa can get their country as well and control immigration.

Other tribes can vote for minority independence or join a neighboring majority.

Point is, let us have a referendum to finally decide by ourselves, that which was decided for us by the British.

All Nigeria needs to come together, as one, to demand for a referendum.

exactly, in civilized countries there re debates between the candidates contesting for office, you don't just make promises without explaining how you intend to bring it to fruition, in nigeria u dnt hv anything like that and consequently demagogues keep getting elected into office and the masses dont seem to learn 4rm their mistakes
It's so sad cry

I wonder who'll contest next, maybe buhari vs atiku, or buhari vs babaginda cheesy

or maybe obj returns for the trifecta cool

Nigeria is really a "green" country by the amount of recycling we keep doing.

I still recall how all these APC guys were yanning that buhari had fixed power supply in the first week.

sane minds kept marvelling at such insanity coming from the APC. How a man that had not added a single megawatt of power, had all of a sudden fixed the power issue undecided

then came that liar Mohammed guy that said, in buharis first month, he had accomplished more than GEJ did in his 5years. Again, sane minds were astonished at such insanity.

now they are telling us they need time and a100 day honeymoon period undecided

just very inconsistent liars if you ask me.

Let them control their resources and pay like 10% tax back to the federal government.

One would think the area would be like the U.S by now, but it's just polluted waters and destroyed environments.

The truth is, regardless of the area, 150 million Nigerians sharing 5000MW, will amount to the vast majority not having light.

So there'd be some praise singers and more nay sayers either way you "ration" it.

I hope at least we can celebrate a pic of 7,000MW in 2 years if not more.

where are u reporting from in lagos?
I hope u know the traffic jam caused by the queue spilling out from the stations unto the main road?
I think u are deliberately downplaying the situation.
Going towards ajah, I noticed no spill over from stations as they all had just 2-3 cars per queue. This of course hasn't been a typical scenario these past few weeks, hence why I said it's been inconsistent.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians React To Persisting Fuel Scarcity by kYjelly2: 5:28pm On Nov 24, 2015
The situation is getting a bit better in Lagos, especially today, but it's been inconsistent.

Some days like yesterday or day before that, saw massive queues, but today has been mostly free at stations selling which I hope will be sustained.

Those living in Lag should take this opportunity to fill their tanks, just in case.

we can now see that searching4l0ve and quotasystem are psychopaths

do they love igbos, hell no.

they hate igbos with a passion as is evident for all to see on this thread.

so one would think they would be sad at any obstacle to attaining Biafra, which would definitely mean less of the igbo they hate around them with some returning home.

but noooooo

they hate igbos and yet are happy when they can't leave.

let's be logical for once in this country

tell me how a normal human will hate something and still want his object of hate with him huh

it's like you wake up in the middle of the night to find a deadly 12 feet black mamba in your room, but just as the deadly beast is about to slither away through the window, going outside, you rush to close the window, ensuring the snake stays with you.

no one, not one person can convince me that this isn't the act of a psychopath.

this kind of human condition needs to be studied

how can other tribes love having igbos around after they are termed the enemy.

what is it you love about the igboshuh

let them take it to the front page so you guys can keep celebrating your hypocrisy for the world to see.

one would think that you would be kinda at even the slightest kink in any of your enemies plans to leave.

this one would be happy that armed robbers are operating in his house. so when the dogs start barking and the neighbors call from the balcony to inquire if everything is alright, he would assure his neighbors that he is fine, delighted even.

"This just in..."

so all of a sudden, they just received information that he is a terrorist huh

how convenient undecided

funny enough, other tribes would love this, not minding what real terror has done to this world, how real terror has taken away the lives of many and even changed the way of life of the living to that of being in constant fear, paranoia.

yet they would rejoice that this man is held further, branded as a "terrorist", smh undecided

at the end, I know God exists, he has to, there has to be justice in this world or the next.

You reason just like what your moniker is used on.

What part of "you ain't going nowhere till you sit out Buhari's tenure" do you not understand?

These rats still think this is a joke, you still think its all fun and games? Y'all are serving time as 5th class citizens for your rubbish during the polls and you're talking sovereignty and escape to Biafra grin

Wake up and smell the ogi smiley
my moniker shouldn't really matter so much as the content of my writing now should it huh

non the less, focusing on the content of yours show blatant hypocrisy.

the only relationship, in which one is happy to have those he detest with him is that of SLAVERY.

like how the white slave masters of old detested the "black monkeys", but still kept them around, maybe not as "5th class citizens", which may have been better, lol, but as way less.

so in essence you are against a peaceful referendum that would have a group decide it's own future huh

i don't really need to proceed with you further on this back and forth as your intention is already known.

yours is the type to advocate for the killing of igbos as opposed to advocating for a peaceful country for them in their own land and you know it.

do you at least even stand with the igbos getting a referendum huh

There is agony in defeat.

As at last year when you were in control of the economy and dominated GEJ's gov't, you were happy being in Nigeria.

The same way you were happy to restructure the country through Ironsi, scattering the Federalism that previously existed in the 60's, only to cry for Federalism now that your structure doesn't favour you any longer.

Actions come with consequences, you cannot run from it.
look dog, this shh right here is soooo simple, like super super simple. so lets "KISS" and make up, i.e, Keep It Super Simple #NoHomo angry

it doesn't matter who is in charge of the country, what matters is a peoples rights to sovereignty.

lets say you're 100% correct and the agitation is due to Buhari having won the election, that my young padawan, still doesn't undermine a peoples rights to sovereignty. I wish I could type that slower so it sinks in,

"it stiiiiiiill doooooooeosn't undeeeeeeeerminne a peeeeopleees riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight tooooooooooooo sooooooooooooooooovereiiiiignnntyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy", sheez undecided

so what should a responsible government do when an agitation such as this keeps growing in numbers and protests huh

simples, you have a referendum, duuuuuuhhh undecided

that way, if igbos trully want to remain in Nigeria, then really the minority igbos would have to take a chill pill, maybe 2 or 3 for deep hibernation.

point is, let igbos have that referendum, shikena angry

Coz we shud b against violence........ Mtheir numba can't stand nigeria b4
duh!!! I am against violence.

however, being against violence doesn't necessarily forestall violence from being "for" you. in other words, you could still be a victim of violence whether or not you are pro or against it, hence my poll to try to sneak a peak into the hearts of man, or at least, into the hearts of Nigerians.

it's simple logic.

it's either Nigeria lets Biafra go, or they supress it, which is just a fancy word for killing Biafra.

so how do we know if igbos trully want to have a country, hold a referendum. I wonder how difficult this is for Nigeria to grasp undecided

Dumbass, your mother shoulda thrown you away and keep the stork.
why so much attack on my poll question huh

history taught us that in the first civil war, majority of Nigerians innately "liked" the second option which is to:

"Kill all igbos to stop them having their country"

otherwise, a country known as Biafra would have been born, right?

of course there was no nairaland then to take a poll.

or maybe it is that you do indeed have a conscience, preventing you from irrationally clicking "like" to the answer which your heart truly desires.
