I was thinking about the base version as would many other people.
Thanks for clearing that up sir. base version is now 97k while 128gb is 109k

Sprintx24: It's possible that you might get it here much faster than those of us who went for the Jumia Global option. Personally, this is my first time of ordering any item through jumia global and I did it because I didn't know the 9s was going to be released in Nigeria or at least early enough. Secondly, the pricing on Jumia Global was more attractive than the ones I saw even on Aliexpress and I told myself, what the hell? I might as well wait for 1 month to get the device. I seriously resisted the temptation of canceling the order some days ago when I found out it was going to be released in Nigeria pretty soon. A day later, it got shipped so now, the real waiting game has commenced.
Now, to my advice. You should understand that, canceling your order on Jumia might mean waiting further for it to be sorted before funds are released back to you. This could take 5 to 10 working days. Also, it is possible that Xiaomi Nigeria won't be commencing sales to the general public immediately after unveiling or retail stores will need some time due to the lock down effect before taking delivery of stocks and subsequently commencing sales. When you think about all of these, it might take some time to lay hands on your device which could mean the same thing as waiting for your order from Jumia Global. If you don't mind all of these, you can cancel the order but personally, I will advice you give Jumia six days from your day of purchase, if it doesn't ship out by then, you can cancel and take up the option of buying here in Nigeria. Good luck with your final decision. My order from Jumia Global has been shipped, after 6 days. |

genius43: Redmi Note 8T(released for the European market) - Presence of Glo Band 28, NFC, 18W Charger out of the box, No Notification LED, longer frame meaning RN8 accessories are not a perfect fit
Redmi Note 8 - anything present I listed for the 8T but it has a notification LED. It still supports 18W charging but you have to buy it separately.
Aside that they house the same hardware in terms of cameras and processor Okay, both are more or less the same. Buying 8T wont be of any issue |

vower: So after 4months using my redmi k20,with screen touch problem, sim tray problem, it's finally come to the final and phone ending problem, bleeding screen. My advice to anybody buying xiaomi phones, stay away from any of them with oled screen,I don't think xiaomi use good oled screen because even my mi 8 se's oled screen is also bad,it doesn't come on. I'm not badmouthing xiaomi, just my observation. Thank You AMOLED displays are prone to screen burn-ins, which leaves a permanent imprint of overused colors from overused images. The imprint only happens if the screen is used at maximum brightness for a long time. |
