I don't know if he has plans of marrying her, but I know that if he were in a position of wanting to get married it will definitely be her, talking based on how deep they are with each other. What I don't seem to understand is that, when she is with my guy she is the most adorable person anyone can ask for, she's like this super decent and loving person. I wish I know how best to describe how decent she appears, we his friends respect her a lot, based on how this my guy carries her. Only for me to find out some really heart wrecking details of her, I don't even want to start saying all the stuffs he said, it would be immature.

It pissed me off to hear stories like this. Tell your friend please! She is a cheat and a great pretender. Such character is a deal breaker. Your friend deserves the bitter truth.

It's Okay! Just embrace the thought that nothing in life last forever. It would save you from heartache, if you put more effort into completely letting go. When you let go, you give yourself peace. I hope you'll make that choice.

Hello all...I been with this my Nigerian guy for 4 years distance relationship..I was doing all for him.cooking cleaning.even sometimes financiall help.He was totally broke...but i didn't care.He never talked about future with me.but when he thought that he could achieve documents from me for pernanent stay in Europe.he started talking about marriage...Usually he was pushing me to go to work and earn money.Anyway when he realised he cant gain nothing from me as in documents coz my country is not Europe Union,he throw me out of house and hit me in my face..after that he told me that i deserved it.N he also hit me coz I didnt close the food in kitchen.He will usually abuse me with domestic work.If i dont wash floor good.he wil tell me to do it again...After all that.i forgave him everything coz i love him.But many times after that he was telling me he will go to other woman for documents.coz as he said he didnt come to Europe to search for love but to achieve documents.Now he is in better country and he found a woman that can give him all that...Documents and money...What did i do wrong??And i am sorry if i sound stupid but i am very inteligent person but maybe i did something wrong so he treated me like that...pls tell me??

Emotional pain comes from being emotionally in stable in situations that aren't healthy for you. It has nothing to do with being single and in fact, many divorces occurred because of emotional pains to name a few

I have a huge problem with people making it seems like their world will be better if they are with someone or married. As beautiful marriage is, there are life balls that many of us will juggle. To be completely happy you have to get connected to your life source and maintain a healthy connection with your life source

On a serious note, one of the powerful deception of the enemy is to convince us that we have enough time. It is something that has been weighing heavily on my mind for months now. That's why I have been praying lately that God would help me not to waste my time because time=life. I pray that God will teach us all to number our days and to redeem the time because the days are evil and everything seems to be designed to distract us. Amen.

True talk! That's why its important too that before doing or decide on something, we have to think with an end in mind. It's even good to think that we will die anytime, hence, we have to be ready for that time. Live life with goodness and love as if its your last day.

Love feels like the greatest thing until it ends. If somebody will said that its not painful, have not feel the real love. Nobody likes to be rejected. When relationship ends, we feel we lose everything. The most painful part is when you still love the person and seeing them with someone else.

This is such an interesting thread and hope some people will share their experience too. Death is inevitable and all of us will die for sure. But most of us feels its a taboo and are reluctant to discuss about it. My Mom's health condition changed my view towards death. It's a heart breaking thoughts but I knew Mom is going to die anytime, only God knows when. The good thing upon knowing that somebody is going to die anytime is you have ample time to prepare for its coming, both emotionally and spiritually. The remaining years and days of my mom was wonderful because we had given the time to show and let her feel that we care and love her so much. I know in my heart, she died with joy and peace.

The part of letting go is truly heartbreaking. But then, it was a quite a relief for us because we will no longer see her sufferings and pains.

My Mom and then Dad.

Very touching! This thread brought me back to my Mom's passing. She died of brain tumor and complications of diabetes. Unfortunately, I was out of the country at that time, and my sister called me coz Mom is very critical. She could not speak but she can hear clearly as her tears was rolling down when she heard my voice. The last words i have said to her is "Nay you can sleep and rest now, don't worry about us", and assured her that I am going to take care of my younger sisters. Then for about two hours she passed away.

Me too, I still dwell on the past. So hard to move on. I think love and pain is a form of addiction, for some people its easy to let go but for some its not. Everyday I think about him. He never leaves my mind. I constantly check his FB and it's like a torture to me. I know its completely insane. I never knew how one person can hold that much power of another persons head. Sigh...

Nice one! Yes life is beautiful. We have to cherished every moments. Even if you are stressed out and hurt, just keep on going. May God bless our broken road.
