I'm rooting for Tunisia to win Cameroon but i know that Cameroon will win.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 8:13pm On Jul 07, 2022
its obvious the coach is here to sabotage this team.. I have lost hope in this team
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 8:19pm On Jul 06, 2022
There was nothing like blocking. The player didn't interfer with the ball. Even the commentators were surprised.

The ref and VAR team were CLEARLY biased.

the player block the goal keeper, obstruction

Finally they scored. Lemme see how the car will cancel this one. Clear victory deserved.

Zambia is better than this Tunisian team.

They are trying to force these two north African teams into the QF stage.

I don't trust this present CAF president.

BascoVanVeli:
Exactly they even called her to look at a penalty that the blind could see didn't exist.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 7:31pm On Jul 06, 2022
My dear, that's robbery. Clear free kick goal. This reg and VAR have been against Zambia. It's obvious

BascoVanVeli:
Jesus they cancelled that goal. This is worse than the NPFL

Are you guys watching this day light robbery of Zambian clear goal? Offside for what?
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 5:30pm On Jul 05, 2022
I can't fault Alozie for the second goal. I was in my uni female team. Played lot of female tournaments both regional, national, continental and club tournaments. The type of situation Alozie found herself always occur often in female football. And in that situation, the defender can only do one thing and success of the defender's action solely depends on the opponent's decision.

Either the defend tries to block the route for a through pass inorder to allow the ball carrier to proceed ahead hoping for her teammates to come for defensive rescue, or the defender tries to directly mark her opponent that is with the ball. If you observe, this usually happen when the opponent team is on counter attack.

Alozie did what any defender would have done that is trying to block that pass. The main culprit for that goal is Ohale. She was no where to be found but again, it's not her fault. IT'S THE COACH'S FAULT.

First goal, plumptre was noticably tired and over stressed. The first goal is the coach's fault. Rita was -1 as an AM, -1 as CM and -1 as DF. Her in that pitch affected all the players in defense, midfield and striking department.
Ayinde was to sit back and protect the defense, Ajibade was to play the box2box while Rita as AM. Ajibade, Onomonu and Payne were doing Rita's work as AM. Ayinde was doing Ajibade's work as CM while plumptre/Alozie even Ohale were doing Ayinde's work as DM. That's what caused both the first and the second goal.

That coach is very mad and stupid. Imagine this useless coach coaching Brazil or Spanish female team and his only tactics is long ball. They will sack him. They wouldn't even hire a coach like that because his ideology is different from their samba football and tiki taka.
Same should be for Nigeria. We only need to get coaches that have same or similar football ideology like ours. I noticed from our game against Portugal that once those girls threw away that his stupid tactics and started playing more on the ground, they were able to control that game and squeezed out a draw. Same against second match against Canada and even against USA. Same shit yesterday.

Compare this coach with the present super eagles coach, i will say, this current super eagles coach has a poor CV but one of the keys to his success will be him having same football ideology with Nigerian which is more of keeping the ball on the ground than those useless long balls.

This stupid coach haven't done anything impactful for our SF instead, they have depreciated a lot. Imagine getting scared of Botswana, South Africa etc.
Next will be him giving stupid media press like rohr and glorifying small small African countries like football giants.

That other mad man at NFF should do and go away. The most useless NFF president.

daveP:
My stance is if Supernerd wants to blame Alozie for lack of awareness of Alozie(rightly), then the first goal blame is purely Ebi's (also lack of awareness). Any defender can be in Plumptre's position and still recover. But Ebi?? Ebihuh Not even tracking one player.

And this is going to be repeated by me. Ebi is the undisputed champion of ruining offside traps set by her fellow defenders. It is undisputed!! She still had a few seconds to join her two colleagues to set the line and reduce the pass to the goal score by a split 3seconds. She stayed put. That's her blame in that 2nd goal.

Combined, she has the highest blame% for the goals scored against us. I think she knew, thus her dying minutes zeal that led to our goal. That was actually a shot at dlamini, but it stopped at Ajibade's feet and goal!! She must be vexed that there were no hot shots from outside the box too. I support that.

And my my, Ajibade is such a very poor crosser. Smh. undecided

Our midfield was over-ran by south africa. .. What the actual Bleep is the coach doing? Ordega entered and started playing the mid-field and things started opening up. The strikers were starved of ball. This coach is mad. They should sack him....

Nothing is working in nigeria. Nothing
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 7:39pm On Jul 04, 2022
to play 5-3-2 / 3-5-2, you need players that are fast, agile and strong to excute your game play, but instead, you started a player that is the laziest to play. Making the rest of the team to overwork themselves, and now doing substitution at wrong time. Plumptre is tired because she has been over used, no one is supporting here. This formation is useless. Less go back to our traditional 4-4-2. alozie is at a critical situation.

I so much hate all these white people trying to tell us what is best for us...

I'm just mad at this useless coach.

if BB can bench their captain/most experienced player so that those that can do the job will play, this useless coach is still starting Chikwelu.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 7:26pm On Jul 04, 2022
I don't the igboo this coach smoke. till now, him no wan do substitution. this is heart-breaking. I think it's better we do away with this coach.. since he has been coaching nigeria, i haven't seen any impact.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 7:21pm On Jul 04, 2022
the coach is mad
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 6:52pm On Jul 04, 2022
The coach is kinda mad for starting chikwelu. making them to play short 1. Why try to play her as attacking player when you have better alternative like ajibade and ucheibe as DM... BB having +66% of ball possession. The first in awcon match. This coach sucks actually. Same sturborn mentality like Rohr.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 5:28pm On Jul 04, 2022
5-3-2.. that's this coach preferred formation... which changes to that 3-5-2 when attacking.

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 5:27pm On Jul 04, 2022
Actually, there's nothing to prove. We know her qualities. We are not saying that she is bad. nope.. only concerned of her slow pace due to old age. BB are currently benching their captain for this match because, she was exposed last time they won us to be very slow. They are using agile players for us.

Danielnino00:
I really hope Chikwelu prove is wrong today...
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 3:22pm On Jul 04, 2022
I don't even want her to play any part in today's game.

Botswana and Burundi are there for her to play.

Deltamani:
I wish he would seat out Chikwelu and again if he’s to play Chikwelu, Ucheibe or Otu will have to be around her to cover the space that would be left behind..
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 3:20pm On Jul 04, 2022
that will be one of his mistakes to start her against BB. Those girls will hustle and muscle the ball out from her constantly like we saw during Aisha Cup. We need midfielder that are mobile, agile and fast. Burundi and Botswana game might fit her but this BB will be disastrous for her based on my personal view. She is old and doesn't possess that 2nd energy she used to have.

Our DM for this game should be either of Ayinde, Otu or Ucheibe and not her.

Deltamani:
This was my own pick though… We still don’t know which of them Coach Randy will go with though but the ones have picked above is good enough to do the job…

Randy may surprise us by playing Chikwelu and Otu ahead of Ucheibe and Ayinde
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 3:14pm On Jul 04, 2022
even if it gets leak, they wouldn't do anything with it. unless BB want to pack the bus and defend through-out the match.

solonnachi:
I hope this formation does not leak out to the South African press or national team. That's what affected SE world cup aspiration. We should be able to manage info well

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 3:11pm On Jul 04, 2022
They have been at a steady decline. Both their male and female teams. Very soon, they will be in same level like south africa. Talents are there but corruption wouldn't allow the coaches select qualified players. The earlier african teams do away with all these age falsifications, the better for us.

I'm glad naija have dropped this idea of parading overaged players. We have been benefitting from it lately. And we hope to get 4-6 new players from the women U-17 and U-20 world cup.

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 10:28am On Jul 04, 2022
Your formation of 3-5-2 is similar to mine when on an offensive mode; but the only difference is that, the coach prefer starting Tony's sister as leftback to Tony as LB. This i still believe he wouldn't alter. Ucheibe and Ayinde can swap position and they are all good whether as a CM or DF likewise Ohale and Ebi.

The coach will not want to collapse the midfield because of Okobi. Okobi is on form but her defensive attributes as a SF player have been poor. And Ajibade that is more of a fighter in that mid can't be benched during first half in-order to accommodate okobi especially for the first half. Okobi can come in 2nd-half which i'm kinda sure is what the coach will do.

Bayana Bayana will try to come hard on us in the first half. Their game plan will be score early, sit deep and catch us on counter. We need mobility in that midfield atleast for the first half and let second half be more of tactics. That's when to bring in experienced players like okobi, ordega to now use their experience to break down any tight defence with their tricks. Ajibade covered more grounds against canada, portugal and usa as an AM. We need to score more first half so that second half, we will have our players sit back with okobi through those her long range defence splitting passes. with kanu in, over-stretching/dragging their defenders out of position.

Deltamani:

This Line up nor fit happen at all….

Where’s Tony Payne? Ayinde can’t be in the DM when we already have natural and Combative duo of Christy Ucheibe and Regina Otu.. Ayinde will rather come in Centrally…

Ngozi Okobi is currently inform, I’m watching how Randy is going to set up his formation…

Onome Ebi will always be between Ashleigh Plumptre and Osinachi Ohale… not Ohale in the middle
Check this formation. I don't expect the coach to start chikwelu..

What CAF should understand is that there is no shortcut. North African countries like tunisia and morocco have aggressively been developing their female teams. Only zambia and Uganda from that east/south african regions.

Togo, burkina faso, mali and senegal are in same league with uganda, namibia, burundi and i doubt those East/Southern african countries can even convincely win burkina.F, mali and senegal... talk of CIV and Ghana.

It is not about playing rubbish but making the tournament competitive. Both teams are ranked than most teams in the tournament exception of Cameroon, Nigeria, and South Africa. Why not pitch Senegal against Ghana in qualifiers ? Ghana has the quality and It was not easy defeating them
ghana was somethings else during the return leg. They would have easily trashed togo, burkina faso, senegal, tunishia and morocco with the way the play SF that day.

I dont know how Togo managed to qualify. Botswana go surely collect an embarrassing result likewise burundi..
