Zambia want to kill this Chinese team oooh.

Abeg, Zambia dey ball

I don't think Super Falcons can ball china the way Zambia is doing.

This 100% fact.

The Zambians i'm watching here will be very difficult for the SF to win.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by labas370(f): 10:15am On Jul 24, 2021
I doubt too because this Zambian team has been able to distablize this Chinese team with their fast game and runs..
The only time SF played fast game against Portuguese team last month, was the only time we disorganized them and managed to equalize.

Nomyth:
Zambia doing us proud.

I doubt Nigeria would have done better.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 10:08am On Jul 24, 2021
I'm so happy that Zambia is developing their female football sector aggressively. There have been steady progression from that side of Africa

GeneralDae:
Barbara Banda now with 5 goals in the tournament so far.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 10:07am On Jul 24, 2021
Now 3:3

Abeg Zambia dey ball...

The SF may find it difficult to beat this current Zambian team. They are fast and can run.

GeneralDae:
China 3 Zambia 1. (31 mins).

Anyone watching the Zambia china match? I'm really impressed by the Zambian team. 2:1 now. Just lack of experience costing the Zambian team. The talent is there
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 9:17am On Jul 24, 2021
Zambia just equalized.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 9:09am On Jul 24, 2021
Zambia only got two goal opportunities and wasted it. China got only 1 goal opportunity and it's a goal. They huge difference between SF and other African teams.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 12:49pm On Jun 17, 2021
African top is insignificant. Nigeria is African top because we have of our players playing in Europe and our female league is better than most African female leagues.

codemaniacs:
Nigeria is Africa's top team.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 12:42pm On Jun 17, 2021
This 3-5-2

Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 12:40pm On Jun 17, 2021
Zogg, alozie, okoronkwo, ifeoma and others lack international football exposure..

Ogbonna was outstanding during Wafu because wafu was played by teams with local or lack if international exposures.
Now at this tournament, it was obviously clear for all to see it especially on our first game against Jamaica. Ogbonna did terribly bad, but her game improved against Portugal and against usa, I was wondering if this was the same ogbonna that played against Jamaica who I criticized heavily. Just see what international exposure did to her game. Then imagine her playing consistently at one of those top clubs. Her game will improve. Zogg learned something after her mistake during that Portugal game. I believe she can never do such thing again because she now knows that its better to balloon the ball into the air than doing that costly mistake.

Experience and exposure are what our team needs. I hope the 6 nation tournament holds.

I will love the coach try this formation
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 12:31pm On Jun 17, 2021
Is not the matter of the team didn't concede much.. someone said usa used us for training... if usa used us for training, what then do we call what they did to Jamaica?

Were you guys expecting SF to win the match or draw with them?

We don't have those players for that. Even Alozie still made some errors which shows that she is not playing on at top club. We need to hang our boots were we can reach. Even Canada will collect more than 2 if they have played this usa team. I see a lot of improvements. What the team needs now is a strong psychic not to lose focus again during injury times.
I strongly believe that if we have had all our top players available, we would have won Jamaica and Portugal and perhaps draw usa or lose to them.

Take a look at Italy whopping the ass of Turkey and Switzerland at this on going euros. Top teams are top teams and you must be exceptional to bit a top team on their home soil.

codemaniacs:
you don't expect a U.S coach play aggressively against the U.S national team... its like the Super Eagles playing against Germany with Rohr as the coach...

the people congratulating the SF are only doing so because the SF didn't concede much..
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 4:54am On Jun 17, 2021
We are actually 38 and supposed to be the whopping team of this tournament.

Some people think you can come from Africa, to play the no1 team on their home soil and win them easily just like that... this is a wonderful result.. the 2 goals were all scored during the injury time of both halves. This is to show that the players gave good account of themselves but felt lackadaisical during both added injury times

carbonado:
.... I think people just watch games and expect miracle to happen, as against putting things into perspective. We played the no 1 team in the world. They came with their big time players, against a no 37 team in the world. We did well, ofcourse there are alot to take away from this game. The coach will watch enough tapes and work on the flaws we had in the game. If only we could transition quickly and couter them, maybe we could have scored a goal. Ultimately, the team is work in progress.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 4:49am On Jun 17, 2021
I don't think so.. those sets lack international club exposure and experiences and costed them during the fifa world cups.. playing in good league is very important. This is like saying, a team made up of players from rivers angel will easily win teams parading players from Lyon, PSG, Barca, Chelsea, wolfsburg, etc.. nah.. that team would have been trashed more than 4:0 today.. no offense, they were great. But football has improved and involves a lot of absorbing the tactically part of the game.

That ogbonna, I decided to watch her game today without being biased and I saw great improvements apart from the mistake she did. I can't call it a mistake but lack of experience. If she was a defender playing in Spain or Sweden, she would have learned and mastered how to defend in situations like that. As long as women football is concerned, Club experience is very important.

Technically, do you know that the zambian female teams are blessed more than the Nigerian team? But what kills them off is lack of experience and exposure. They don't know when to release the ball, when and were to commit a foul, when to dribble and when not to dribble etc..

GeneralDae:
Well I think the falcons in the set of Perpetua Nwokocha and Vera Okolo would have scored against this U.S team. There was nothing really special about this U.S team.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 4:26am On Jun 17, 2021
This USA match, we played 3-5-2.
If we should use this same formation against other African teams, it will be 10:0 trashing
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 4:25am On Jun 17, 2021
Men, Alozie was on fire. Lot of energy...
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 4:22am On Jun 17, 2021
Dude, we would have trashed them... our defence is solid. What we miss in the midfield is a player like kante and we have that person in Payne's sister... she can charge for the ball. I would have preferred Gift to ifeoma. Okeke did well.. what we lacked at that game against Jamaica was defence organisation.. Ebi tried to do that against Portugal but wasn't that so perfect, but today, there was tremendous improvement.

Clint02:
I don't think we would have trashed them. We simply would have played an all nil draw.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 4:13am On Jun 17, 2021
I don't think its same match we all watched.. this team that played today, I'd the had played like this against Jamaica, we would have trashed Jamaica..
All of them have good account of themselves.. I'm very proud of this team and very proud of the coach. He is tactically and technically better than rohr...

drDoom3:
Asides our keeper and Ebi, then maybe Alozie, the rest were really disappointing. I expected Oshoala to be better at reading games, considering her experience. Coach looks 30% good tactically, 70% clueless.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 4:11am On Jun 17, 2021
There are teams that we need to be playing each international break.. Romania, Serbia, Wales, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Belarus etc will all be willing to have double friendlies with our SF..
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 4:05am On Jun 17, 2021
Lessons so far, our team lost concentration at each of the added time. They should have that strong mentality till the final whistle.
Our defence did perfectly good.. I will give them 90%.

It's sad that we didn't qualify for the Olympics but this tournament and the one in Turkey are enough to cover for the girls fitness...

grin grin grin
Joanney:
They are not mates unless you are referring to their birth years.
Onome Ebi=5 world cups no quarter final.

Carl Lloyd= 4 world cups,4 semis and two championships including a final hat trick.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 3:17am On Jun 17, 2021
In this particular game, all the players have collectively played well including ogbonna.. I will not fully blame her because she lack lacks some experience but so has done well.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 2:58am On Jun 17, 2021
We have been saying it that she lacks some experience.
She was at a better position to reach that ball first and use her body instead of legs.
drDoom3:
That number 4, Ogbonna, is very useless.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 2:27am On Jun 14, 2021
We mounted pressure on them..
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 2:27am On Jun 14, 2021
Over interesting game man...

klexycole:
Ajibade levels it up.

3 - 3

Full time.

Overall an interesting game.

This is the Ordega we have been craving for.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 1:31am On Jun 14, 2021
You are seeing the same thing that I'm seeing? We have better local coaches.. all these foreign female coaches haven't done anything impactful.. the coach of that oshola's under 20 coach will still be my best Nigeria female coach. I think he was same coach that took oparanozie/Ordega's u-20 to finals too.. he is 100 times better than this coach.

robosky02:
Abeg remove this secondary school coach

And put Mercy Akide she has more to offer than this Randy man
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 1:27am On Jun 14, 2021
One, we were wasteful. At the start of the game our wingers were more of looking out for oshola instead of taking good shots when there were opportunities for that.

Clint02:
If they can just stop making those simple mistakes, stop giving away the ball unnecessarily then we will win this.
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 1:24am On Jun 14, 2021
Make this coach no turnout to rohr.. make him dey bold to make changes....
Sports › Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by labas370(f): 1:22am On Jun 14, 2021
