Scientists: Shut up, why not ask around
What is the difference between an Igbo trader that can starve his fellow helpless Igbo siblings to death and a killer Fulani herdsman that can massacre people from another tribe? Do you know how much 2 bottles of sanitizer are sold in Denmark? €94. That about N45,000. Yes they did it to prevent hoarding and possible resale for higher profit. That goes to prove that human greed and thirst for monopoly is universal, so why tribalize it and localize to Aba? |

Area4Area: I support you abeg and I also urge all our soldiers to quit the army so that Boko Haram and ISWAP would overrun the whole country, at least by now you and I would be fighting for those two groups.
Why would our gallant soldiers be sacrificing their lives for an ungrateful population who only pray for their downfall, let them all throw in the towel please Boko haram cannot overrun the East where there are hardly any indigenous muslim, they invade regions where there are indigenous muslims like North and SW, because these are areas where they stand a good chance of getting supports of extremists like MURIC and Co. Let them army quit and allow Boko to take their chances in every region, let's see they'll succeed. |

The annoying thing about this virus is the fact that it doesn't confer lifelong immunity to survivors after primary infection like the pox virus. |

Aba boys are super creative If we can lay our hands on CRISPR biomolecular technology and other cloning laboratory equipments and gene editing laboratory resources, we'll create human beings if it is legal. Human cloning is actually not rocket science but super expensive and unethical. |

SoNature: While I can never be a partaker of tribalism, I think we are missing a point here.
As a faceless platform, Nairaland truly mirrors that hate, anger and injustice commonly found among the peoples of Nigeria.
All these qualities exist in our people, but we are scared to openly exhibit them because doing so has weighty consequences.
Truth be told, Nigerians wallow in deceit and hypocrisy. And yes, we are well aware that our differences are deep-rooted, so it cannot be wished away.
Like I always say, if Nigeria is still struggling with unity for over 100 years after amalgamation, then there's no point being one country.
Let's stop living in denial: The hate and tribalism on Nairaland reflect the true Nigeria that many of us are not proud to openly exhibit.
Much as I don't see it happening at all, it may take Nigeria centuries to become a united country Very apt! Thanks a lot for telling the truth. |

rusher14: Same here.
I was a visitor for a couple of months before joining as a regular but somehow feel betrayed.
It was a forum for intellectual discuss but now, it's just a medium for propaganda, hate, delusion and disinformation. The forum is a perfect reflection of the true minds of Nigerians. The anonymity it offers allow everyone to speak their minds on national issues without let or hindrance. Any other thing you want is superficial and fake. The country gets to reflect what it gives, it's a simple principle. When we are all truly tired of 'the hate, bigotry' and stop paying lip service we will do what what other stable nations are doing by entrenching justice and equity. Even your president is openly sectional and bigoted. That alone contributes to the hate and bigotry you suffer here. You cannot have unity and peace without the two 'condiments' above. What you'll have is unsustainable peace and fake unity. Till you all are ready to clamour for justice, equity, the unity and peace you seek on this forum remains elusive and rightfully so. In politics there is nothing like 'fake it till you make it' |

Pat4t5: Presidential task force briefing on Covid-19 1. The first journalist asked his questions in English 2. the second journalist (Yoruba lady) asked her questions in Yoruba 3. The third journalist (Hausa guy) asked his questions in Hausa 4. The fourth journalist (Igbo lady) asked her questions in English (English she couldn't even speak correctly) Short ugly Igbo lady ... Others spoke in their local languages but this stupid semi-litrate lady did otherwise. Shame on you. She asked her questions in English as if she can speak better than the two others that spoke in Yoruba and Hausa. Foolish lady She should have been kicked out from there. What was she doing there? Hopeless Efulefu.. Short ugly thing. |

You finally bought data to reply after 12 hours. E pain am gan The average lab technician in the US earns about $40,000 (14 million naira per year) above the national average of $32,000 in the US. So it is not derogratory. Dem go still feed you. So, if you like shout 'lab technician' till tommorow e nor change anything. Some of your hopeless graduates still go back to school of health to train as Med lab technicians and assistants. Many of them are under my employ as an astute medical scientist and they'll readily feed you. Even some lab assistants under them will buy you a piece to eat. Haven't health professionals shouted themselves hoarse about the rot in the health system and the underfunding of the health sector for many years? Did your politicians call our bluff and decided they'll buy latest SUVs and Jeeps instead of properly equiping our medical laboratories and hospitals with the latest medical equipments? Let them use the engines of their latest bullet proof Camrys to conduct the Covid-19 RT-PCR tests while connecting the exhaust pipes to their nostrils as ventilator machines. |
