U have a point, even though i am not an Igbo. If i were Peter Obi, i would begin as a Vice President to a winning or powerful party like APC or PDP presidential candidate, then gradually move for presidential candidate. The northerners have great influence in Politics. Politics no be gra, gra, na sense. U have to wisely and carefully work with the men at the top to get to the top. Goodluck Jonathan and Prof. Osibanjo blew up their chances because they misunderstood these, that was why they were dumped. Na Osibanjo own nai even worse past because he never sat in that position. He was dragging position with his master Tinubu. He got kicked out. I doubt, if he would be given a 2nd chance. I just hope things go well for Peter Obi because the northerners have greater influence as long as politics is concerned.
