-But wat i worry most about is that the new generation of people take this shit like the real key to hip-pop, -nowadays when some one meet a rapper the 1st thin he asks him is where are ya cars and the lyrics no more....{Bleep ybnl 4 that}coz they kill hip-pop the moment they sing trash
Now snoopdogg and some big time rapper is becoming unbecoming, and it seems like no one cares about the music anymore and all they all wanna sing about is money all alone, even when money don't feel them, and some does'nt look like money holder (Drake)

This is a tricky question, Dont Answer this Question on a first Interview, Just tell them that, you will stick to the Organisation pay for that position. Its not a good thing to start discussing money on a first interview it makes you look like someone that likes money. And if they insist that you should say an amount. Dont be afraid to say What you would like to earn, they cant disqualify you for saying a fair amount except if that amount is ridiculous for Eg As a bank teller you are asking for 300,000. Leadn: Tecno N7 fell below expectations! Compared to Gionee's infinity, this phone sucks!.
Key Specifications of the N7 Network - 2G/3G Operating System - Android 4.0 ICS Band - GSM900/DCS1800MHz/WCDMA2100 Processor - 1GHz Dual core CPU Dimension - 148*79*10.3mm Display - 5.0″ Capacitive Touch Screen. Resolution - 480*800 (WVGA) Camera – 0.3MP Front Camera / 5.0MP back Camera with Flash Audio - AMR, WAV, AAC, MP3, MIDI, OGG…. VIDEO - MP4, 3GP, MPEG-4… Memory - 4GB ROM + 512MB RAM – MicroSD, expandable up to 32GB Messaging & SNS – Gmail Connectivity - WiFi, Bluetooth3.0, USB Battery Capacity - BL-4M (2300mAh) Sensor - G-Sensor, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor Other Features - FM Radio, Torch, Voice Recording, Alarm, Memo…
The Tecno N7 being a key rival to Gionee’s Infinity has failed to impress with less important specs to packed.
The only cool (I guess) feature on the phone is the Android 4.0 ICS (Not Jelly Bean) OS it packed and the dual core (which is not quite impressive in this day of Samsung high end smartphones).
The Tecno N7 also failed to bring a better RAM (at least a 1GB RAM would not have been a bad idea).
The Tecno N7 as stated earlier isn’t available for purchase yet and no date has slated for the launch.
Market estimates put the price of the N7 as 27,000NGN to rival Gionne’s infinity of 30,000NGN. http://techinfomania.com/2013/02/tecno-n7-hands-on/

Sports › Re: Joseph Yobo Uncensored! I Can’t Be A Part-Time Eagles Player by ladeski: 2:49pm On Apr 05, 2013 |
uni-kazzy: Skipper Joseph Yobo has said that Coach Stephen Keshi cannot make him a part-time player in the Super Eagles. He opens up a can of worms in this interview.
We learnt that you were not happy that you were not fielded in the last game against Kenya. What really happened?
Before people get it twisted, I said and I repeat that nobody communicated with me that I was not going to play against kenya. Nobody communicated to me at all. This is not about Joseph Yobo. This is about the position of the captain of the national team and there should be respect for that position.
There are so many things that happened that I was not happy with but I chose to keep quiet. But I am keeping all that for my documentary. I have been to many Nations Cup and played for over a decade and a lot of things have happened. A lot of things happened at the Nations Cup and I did not talk about them.
When it happened again and I did not get a phone call, I was like saying to myself , here we go again. It is not like I have not experienced such before , I have, but if it keeps coming, there is only so much that I can take and I had to put things straight.
I am not interested in making trouble with anybody but right now, I’m only speaking out because I have had enough.
The coach, Keshi, said that after the Nations Cup in South Africa, that he had a meeting with you and told you that in subsequent matches that he was going to be calling you for some while leaving you out of others. Is it true?
There is absolutely no truth in that statement. After the Nations Cup, he did not call me to say that some games I will play and some games, I would not play. It is absolutely untrue.
I am on top of my game right now, I am a top of my career and I am playing in the Europa Cup. If I’m not that good, I won’t be playing in this competition. This is not about football. This is about principles. Why is Keshi trying to make a part-time player.? If that is his decision, fine but I won’t accept and respect that decision, but if he feels that he does not need me and he tells me that, I would respect that decision. But to say that he called to inform me of his plans, no that is not true.
I cannot agree to be a part-time player for the national team. If I’m not fit to play or good enough to play, I personally would opt out. I have a reputation to protect. Nigeria is so huge , we have so much talents and as a player, its difficult to come out there and put your head out for competition. So if I am not ready and fit enough, I would say it myself.
When you saw this, did you bother to call the coach to clear the air?
No, I feel and believe that the coach as the leader, should be able to call his players.
Vincent Enyeama said that you are still the captain of the team but the coach thinks otherwise, so don’t you see a crisis in the team?
In the Super Eagles, to tell you the truth, a lot of things happened in the team that people don’t know about. Players go through a lot, we make a lot of sacrifice but when something goes wrong a bit, we get crucified, even when we are not at fault. A lot of things happened at the Nations Cup in South Africa. A lot of things also happened at our Faro camp, which people don’t know. But because we are adults, we keep these things to ourselves. These things are not good at all but we allow things to lie low.
Communication seems to be a big problem in the Super Eagles. First, Osaze complained, then Emenike also complained and now you are coming out to complain. Everybody blamed Osaze for his twitter rage but what do you think is going on.
There is absolutely a communication breakdown in the national team. If you are in a position of authority, you have to take all the responsibilities. A lot of things go wrong in the national team and that’s it. All the time, they seem to sideline the players. Players are supposed to be communicated with, especially after a massive event.
They need to ask how we are getting on in our clubs, has your injury healed, what is going on with your wife but these things do not happen. We go back to our clubs, we do not hear from them. We are like children and we also have children, who look up to us. Can they do so to their children? As I said, there is a real communication breakdown in the Eagles.
Can you let Nigerians know some of the problems that happened in faro first and the Nations Cup because if you want to solve a problem, you need to know what the problems are.
As I said, it’s a lot of and I am saving them for my documentary. We won the Nations Cup, everybody participated to make it a success. The coaches played their roles, the backroom staff also did theirs, the NFF played their roles and the players also contributed their quota.
As the captain, I never thought I would go through the things that I went through to be able to put the team together. A lot of things happened but we had to put them aside so that we can achieve the victory in South Africa.
But people have forgotten that it was not done by one person. I have sacrificed and I do not want to see what I am not supposed to see. This is my stand. The position of the captain should be respected and I am saying this because of the future. It is not about playing because players feel disrespected and ignored if they are not communicated with.
Is it true that you had a disagreement with Amokachi? What is the problem between you and Amokachi
I did not say there is a problem. You are telling me that but as I said , when the right time comes, I will talk. One thing I know is that I will always stand for the truth. I really do not care about the consequences and who is offended. If they say I should say the truth, I will always say the truth. I have never disrespected anybody in my career. In my 13 years of professional career, they have never fined me for a day , so that tells you the type of person that I am. So when I speak up, people should understand where I am coming from.
Is it true that you disagreed and made them to share money across board with everybody at the Nations Cup.
Yes, I think it was with some bonuses . These were incentives that were not part of the official NFF bonus. When incentives come like that, as the captain of the team, I approach the coaching crew and I think it was wise for me to do it.
Even for the backroom staff, who people did not see but they put in a lot of efforts for us to achieve what we did at the Nations Cup. So it was wise for us to share it equally, even if, it meant that I will take the least, because we are like a family and we are building a team spirit.
Some of the things you are saying now are so similar to what Osaze said, initially though, you said then that he was childish
Osaze is a wonderful person. We spoke recently. I just thought that Osaze presented his case probably at the wrong time and the wrong way. Yes, certain things that he said are true. Before the away game in Liberia, I called Osaze to let him know that I was aware of certain things which were not going well in the national team but told him that I needed his support as a senior player, we need him and his experience to build this team together. Some of the things he said are very right but like I said, we need to stick together.
His thoughts about Osaze activism on social media - twitter?
I think that he likes it of that is one of his hobbies. But I do not like it and do not have a twitter account because if I go on social media, I have a lot of things to say that would shock people

Bend to their rules, you are the one who needs the job. After the interview and you have gotten the job, yes, you can take your tablet with you, no shame in that. No one is saying you should look like rag or desperate, it's just the right and cultured way to go about things. Look sharp and neat dress-wise, clean cut, nicely done hair. hardbody: I hate it when people refuse to argue logically on point being discussed.
Let me state categorically that my views, which i stubbornly maintain remains:
1. My pad, tablet, phones are all work tools 2. If i am attending interviews or going anywhere else for that matter, i carry those tools. 3. To the extent i am at the lobby or reception area, i will take my calls and do whatever i need to do on the pad. 4. Once i go into the panel or one-on-one interview, i will neither pick my calls nor open the pad, it is discouteous. 5. It is the height of unseriousness to pick questions or information from the pad,tab or pc in the course of the interview session except you are specifically required to do so by the panel 6. If i were interviewing for a junior position and had those gadgets, i will still apply Nos 1- 5. To me it is standard.
And this is Nigeria. My uncle told me he was refused an interview he had already been invited for when they saw him reading a copy of the NY times he picked up at the lobby of his potential employers and this was in the united states.
You guys out there may have different standards.
I hope i have made my points clear. 1. rebuttal to point 1. work tools which should be used at work. YOU HAVE NOT BEEN EMPLOYED YET !!!!!!! 2. rebuttal to point 5. You are mumbled up confused and contradictory. In one line you say its discourteous to pick up calls or open your tab at an interview. now the million dollar question......why take it there in the first place? 3. rebuttal to point 6. yes its standard. standard nonsense 4. rebuttal to point 6. your uncle was refused the interview because the newspapers ARE NOT FOR STAFF OR FUTURE STAFF, they are for CUSTOMERS visiting the office, something for them to read whilst waiting. Yes we have standards........we do hope your thinking changes then again our collective breaths will not wait..... |

I think I know who you are and I get the feeliing you are part of the recruitment firm I talked about. Well I always leave each interview with a positive and negative feedback did I hear what the interviewers said yes, do I agree with all of it hell no because I know who I am and I know my self worth as a person.
Who are you to tell me I will remain unemployable with this attitude of mine? Have you become the Lord God Almighty who holds the entire world in his hands? Well guess what this attitude of mine as crass as you may think it is, will take me far because this ATTITUDE is all about changing the things I can, accepting the things I cannot change and asking for wisdom to know the difference. THIS ATTITUDE also says ENOUGH is ENOUGH NO MORE BS FROM EMPLOYERS OF LABOUR.
I have been scheduled for several interviews this year alone, four of which I declined for personal reasons and I have received positive feedback I am the one treading carefully because I don't want to get my fingers burnt again. And this laptop thing wasn't an issue at all with another interviewer and it was actually applauded. They didn't think it was unprofessional like you put it. I AM NOT IN A POSITION OF WEAKNESS AS YOU PUT IT AS A MATTER OF FACT I AM IN A POSITION OF POWER TO TRANSFORM MY LIFE AND MAKE THE CHANGES I WANT CAREER WISE AND IN OTHER AREAS OF MY LIFE AND NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK OR BUTCHED INTERVIEWS IS GOING TO STOP ME FROM MAKING THAT CHANGE.
If you are going to be late in attending to an applicant then why don't you do the courteous thing by apologizing for your lateness rather than carrying on like it's not a big deal? My time is valuable to me and it is mine, if anyone is going to waste my time I would like for that person to be me. I told you and your team before that I want to be treated with the same courtesy I extend to others is that too big a task to ask? Ohh I forgot you are in a position of power and I am in a position of weakness right?
If a recruiter does not care about what I think but only cares about filling a role and getting paid for his services then I say goodbye oooo, I don't need that sort of recruiter. Most of you HR Professionals have no clue whatsoever on how to be decent professionals and reliable ones. It's all about the naira and woe be tide the candidate right?
WELL LIKE I SAID I AM ALSO ASSESSING ORGANIZATIONS TO SEE IF THEY ARE THE TYPE OF ORGANIZATION I WANT TO ALIGN MYSELF WITH, APPLICANTS ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES WITH FLAWS. RECRUITERS ARE ALSO KNOWN FOR EXAGGERATING AND OVER STATING THEIR POSITIONS, HOLDING THEMSELVES OUT AS BEING ETHICAL AND PROFESSIONAL WHEN IN TRUTH THEY ARE NOT. Not refering to your firm in particular just saying in general.
Again I will attempt your long rant into bite sized bullet points. Here goes 1. You don't know who I am neither am I part of the recruitment team you talked about 2. Obviously the negatives overweighed any positive feedback else your post would have been about how they wowed about your tablet and even took your picture with it ! 3. No I am not the God almighty, neither did I even try to be in this instance 4. BS from employers as you call it. Here's a thought , why don't you start your own company and start dishing BS or not as the case may be. Why apply? 5. It is unprofessional and I repeat, IT IS UNPROFESSIONAL. 6. You are, I am and everyone is in a position of weakness when you apply for anything, be it a loan, a mortgage, a job or even a wife ! Why, because the other party has the power to say NO. I trust this simple analogy suffices. However should you get that job, loan, mortgage, wife etc you move into a position of strength. 7.You're probably the kinda guy that WONT wear a suit to an interview and complain that you were overlooked due to 'discrimination' 8. You never learn 9. SMH |

Applicants are dime a dozen, the jobs aren't. Not saying became a slave to prospective employers but a little humility and COMMON SENSE goes a long way.
People forget that interviews are most about assessing the applicant in person. They have already seen your resume now they want to see the person behind that resume and like any other interpersonal interaction first impressions matter. As soon as he entered that interview room with his laptop. . .there is no doubt in my mind the first thing that flashed in their minds was ARROGANCE and that was the end of it right there.

gparker: Interesting topic,
I figure AdoOloro is being sarcastic. Well I'll share my personal experience with you, two weeks ago I had an interview with an oil & gas firm where I took my laptop with me (it's actually a notebook, the mini laptop). I took it along because it has my resume on it as well as a list of questions I've prepared for every interviewer I'll be meeting with. In addition to that I just feel it's tidier to go with soft copies rather than hard copies of such documents.
Well guess what? The feedback I later received from the company as well as the consulting firm responsible for the recruitment was disheartening, hilarious and annoying all at the same time. They felt bringing a laptop to the interview was unnecessary and it was also a minus for me. The recruitment firm pretty much berated me for doing so and asked why I carry a laptop to interviews (this particular interview was my 2nd with the firm and one of it's clients). I was even adviced to carry hardcopies of my resume and a diary to make notes during the interview.
Me, I just thought to myself these people are not serious oooo. In this age and time of information technology, if you can't see or understand why I brought the laptop or the necessity of having your documents together in one place and on soft copy which makes life easier then you shouldn't be in this line of business. I also felt they weren't a forward looking and up to par organization.
Is that going to stop me from taking my laptop to interviews HELL NO, because as far as I am concerned
1. The interview is a two way business conversation and if the laptop is a tool that will help or enable me conduct my own interview who are you to tell me otherwise. Moreover if people are comfortable carrying hard copies of documents everywhere they go I am not.
2. The only thing I would do differently next time regarding the laptop is that, I would inform the interviewer from the start that I plan to use my laptop during the course of the interview because it has my resume and list of questions on it. I won't even say it, as if I am asking for permission to use it. I will say it assertively like hey it's the IT age get with the programme .
3. I realized some time ago that I have some measure of control over the interview as an applicant so I no longer let people bullshit me in anyway ooo. Gone are the days when an interviewer will have the upper hand at my interviews I am so changing the game to make sure I walk away with a better deal than I've gotten in the past.
As you are assessing me to verify my suitability I am also assessing you to see if you are the sort of organization I want to align myself with. I am sick and tired of feeling cheated and being short changed by some of these naija employers.
Well I have since decided to severe my ties with that recruitement firm because not only was I disappointed I wasn't even given a chance to explain why I carry the laptop with me to interviews. I could have done that in writing via email but I felt this people would think I'm either being combative or making excuses so I didn't bother and having met with two of their clients so far I think I've had enough because the experience in both cases wasn't nice at all and I'll be damned if I put myself through that ever again with any interviewer.
In my first interview with a client of their's I was spoken down to by the client and basically belittled & ridiculed. In this second interview I was asked to come in at 11:45am but when I finally walked out of the building it was 2pm meanwhile I wasn't asked to take a written assessment, fill out any sort of paper work oooo. I thought this is crazy a mere oral interview shouldn't last this long.
Some employers don't have any qualms with wasting your time or failing to apologize for wasting your time. But if you as an applicant dare try that you would be called all sorts of names. We've sha suffered as applicants in this country, but me I have resolved to be change the way my interviews are conducted and how I am treated.
If I make any sense at all then like this post. LOL I am going to be brutally honest and a tad bit harsh. Note I bolded key words in your post. here goes.......... 1. The recruiter or firm DOES not care what you think. They are ONLY interested in whether you are the right fit for the role or not. Besides they have countless other applicants waiting to be interviewed. 2. The recruiter is in a position of strength, you are in a position of weakness. If you were the strong one you wouldn't have applied for the job 3. Take a cue from my bolded parts. You keep getting similar feedback from various companies yet you feel you are the right one and they are wrong 4. If you don't change your thinking you may stay 'unemployable and unemployed' for a while, get prepared for it. I suggest you work for your self 5. Bringing a laptop/notebook etc is extremely unprofessional. It shows you are unable to retain simple information in your head. I mean how hard can it be to remember the chronological events of your career (if you actually did work there) ?? 6. The only thing you should take is a list of questions as you mentioned above and a pen to note down any pertinent points during the session. 7. They are serious. You are the unserious one. Yes you took time to be there for an interview but remember they are at work already (a place you desire to be) and can be late sometimes due to previous engagements. 8. GROW up |

Eze Promoe: There are so many aspects in which you can compare the influence of these two countries. Which are:
Infrastructure: South Africa
Economy: South Africa
Establishments (owned by locals): Nigeria
Wealth (acquired by locals): Nigeria
Military: Nigeria
Politics: Nigeria
Entertainment: Nigeria
Culturally: Nigeria
Tourism: South Africa
Celebrities (of all genres) : Nigeria
Please note that, the question isn't 'who's better than the other' but 'who's more influential than the other'. By right, criterias like infrastructure are not suppose to appear on my list but i have to do that just to be fair to South Africans. Your infrastructures do not in any way affect other African countries. YOU MISSED OUT MIGRATION FROM OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES DUE TO OPPORTUNITIES................... |

souldust: i want good analysis pls. Not sentiments based on blind patriotism, share ignorance, self hate and fraustration.
I am asking this question because reading so many articles on different websites lately, i have come to see that people of these two countries believe that they are the most powerful country on the continent and as such, should be the mouth piece of the continent. While this mentality has declined greatly among Nigerians, it is growing among South Africans. Interesting question poster. To answer your question you need certain indices or statistics to back up any claim to be 'influential' as a country. Indices such as 1. Gross National Product of both countries 2. Gross Domestic Product of both countries 3. Level of literacy in both countries 4. Level of poverty, maternal deaths, under 5 deaths etc 5. capacity to create wealth AND create an environment for jobs 6. How the country is viewed by most countries 7. Their standing in AU and all other relevant international bodies |

AAC: In terms of cultural, political, and military influence in africa, Nigeria comes 1st.
I'll give infrastructural and technology development to South Africa.
However, I wonder y africans always bother abt such things. Canada doesnt compete with US. Neither does France with UK. Africa unite and grow up. Interesting deduction however please note that there is NO indication that Africa will ever unite. Kwame Nkrumah, Thomas Sankara, Mandela and numerous visionary leader have tried to no avail to unite Africa. Ideas such as a common currency/(even within West Africa) were jumped upon by foreign interests who saw between the lines and used institutions such as the IMF and World Bank to dissuade us from embarking on such initiatives. Some of these leaders were even 'executed'. That was then. Now that Africa's raw materials are the focus of such giants as China for their current and future dependence on energy don't bank on it happening and that is all before the continental back stabbing, greed, lack of direction from leaders, lack of meritocracy etc |

chukxie: Without any unnecessary sentiment i think SA is head and shoulders ahead of Nigeria for now. If our government can put its house in order by providing all the basic amenities we currently lack, and taking a firm and decisive action against the menance of Boko Haram and kidnappers, only then can we become better than SA. IF has been the operative word in Nigeria ever since the British handed power over to us in that meeting in 1959........ IF means diddly squat for example............ IF I married Halle Berry IF I was Dangote Catch my drift? |

musiwa20: if you notice alot of nigeria men develop muscle like weightlighter even while they dont go for body training.. it is the work of eba..
the nigeria national team eat it alot.. they dont eat foreign food. because they make them weak.. but eba makes people very very very strong. The Nigerian National teams also die well before their time, check Segun Odegbami's set who have lost 6 players ! seriously though a diet based on high level of carbohydrates is bad for you. Its not a coincidence that the Japanese and Chinese who live the longest stay away from high carbs, preferring vegetables, protein, wheat and fruit based diets. Stay away from high carbs ! |
