Afam4eva: I don dey pity the guy. I think next time, he should make it a little bit cheaper. If you noticed there were more people at the back(regular) sit than the front. So, it's obvious it's because of the exorbitant price.
hmmmmm. quick one though, is it the artiste's responsibility to 'fix' concert prices, or is it the promoters?

secondly wizkid's response is coordinated and expected but he has to adopt a risk management approach to ensure this doesn't happen again.

its bad for his brand

he who has ears , should hear.

I understand your point. I know of women who don't want marriage. My aunt has 4 children from 2 men and she doesn't want to settle down. She is 46 now and the children are grown. She turned down marriage proposals. She would tell you she is married to her career. She is beautiful and won beauty peagant when she was younger.

I know of another friend that doesn't want to have anything to do with marriage. She lives in New York with two adopted sons.

To each his own. I wonder what a baby daddy is though. How do you explain there is no mummy? Too many questions from the children.
questions that WILL be answered once they come of age anyway.

I wouldn't change a thing in terms of the colours. They are absolutely fine. What I would change however is

1.The quality of the t shirts given. current ones are horrible quality, shrinks and not good enough thickness
2. The trousers are horrible quality
3. Fit for men's trousers should be different from women's
4. The boots are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too tight. These need to be upgraded
5. The cap has no shape and fit. Needs to be updated.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Questions For Chelsea Fans Alone by ladeski: 4:59pm On Sep 03, 2013
ashmanpolo: Why didn't Eto play last night against Bayern
Why do you think Mou prefer not to play Mata. Our best player last season
Why is our midfield still not strong
Do u think Hazard should be rated with CR7 and the likes cos I think so
How far do u think we would go this season
Do u think Eto will perform at his age
What are your prospects for our club ATM

1. Has Eto'o even trained fully with the squad? Is he match fit for a prem game?
2. Mourinho already answered this question. Mata only started training 2 days before our first prem game. Hes nursing an injury from Conf cup days
3. I feel our midfiled is strong. a better question is 'is our midfield balanced?'
4. Hazard is nowhere near CR7 . no where. reason is consistency, consistency and more consistency
5. We can go very far if Mou deploys the right strategy. we have the players.
6. Eto o will perform IF HE IS FIT. If Henrik Larsson performed at Man U at the age of 35, Eto o can perform.
7. Chelsea to win a trophy....don't know which though

Nairaland / General / Re: High Death Rate On The Lekki Expressway by ladeski: 9:48am On Aug 29, 2013
pro01:

That is the biggest problem, as far as I am concerned. Nigerians are often so insensitive, selfish, inconsiderate, and in some cases downright evil. Whenever I am driving, I ALWAYS slow down if I see people trying to cross ahead. It doesn't matter whether they are cat-walking across or galloping across. I mean, isn't it common sense? But very often when I cross the road as a pedestrian, I notice that most people seem to accelerate more when they see pedestrians trying to cross. They seem to hate the fact that you have the audacity to cramp their style, regardless of whether there is a pedestrian bridge or not. This is sheer bestiality. Even if a driver sees a pedestrian trying to cross the 'highway' right under a pedestrian bridge, he MUST exercise duty of care by slowing down and permitting them to cross safely. These are human beings, after all, not rodents or termites. Another person's negligence does not entitle you to knowingly commit murder. Where is our humanity? Our compassion?

On the other hand, I see many people talk about the need to use pedestrian bridges, rightly so. People should always use pedestrian bridges where available. However, in addition to the fact that these bridges are hardly sufficient, there is another problem that has been overlooked. Using pedestrian bridges (especially at night) presents a uniquely Nigerian problem. You risk being robbed, and in some cases, for ladies, being raped, by miscreants. It has happened to a friend of mine, and I have also heard several other reports about this. The risk is often more when it's quite late, say from 9.pm or thereabout. I don't know whether anyone has experienced this on the pedestrian bridges on Lekki/Epe expressway, but it used to be quite common on bridges on Ikorodu Road, Oshodi/Apapa Expressway, and the 'Ikeja Along' bridge on Agege Motor Road, and a few others.

Nigeria is a difficult place for so many reasons, we really do need extensive social re-engineering to address many of these problems.
Well written. Have you spent time outside the country, cos your perspective is certainly an exposed one. I stop at zebra crossings on Ajose Adeogun. You should hear the horns from the cars behind me. Basic etiquette and road signs are unknown to a vast majority of Nigerians. mirror nko? SMH

I understand the point of street light, LCC and Lagos state govt have no excuse to give on that, but with the speed limit; it is boldly attached along the express way and mostly it states 50km/hr. But trust my people they go even reach 140km/hr
Is 50 km/hr realistic? a 'standard expressway should be set at 70mph which is about 112kmph. 50 kmph is about 31 mph....alow coach stuff. a middle ground should be advised, 50kmph is too slow. waaaaay too slow
