Are the ones we have well equpped first? Do you know how much building a university talkless of 6 will cost the Government ![]() This is nothing but a selfish project!, i will be surprised if the university in Bayelsa is not named Goodluck Jonathan University! Open your eyes than taking everything a government does as right! We have half-baked graduates roaming the streets looking for job. None of the Federal Universities in Nigeria can stand and boast of significant international rating. Yet you come and say what is wrong with that. . .RUBBISH!, absolutely RUBBISH! |
The Bayelsa State government will donate 200 hectare of land at Otuoke, President Goodluck Jonathan’s village, for the commencement of the new federal university to be sited in the state, Timipre Sylva, the state governor has said. The site allocation was unveiled on Wednesday, when the minister of state for education, Kenneth Gbagi, paid a visit to the governor in Yenagoa, requesting for allocation of space for the university, which is one of the six which was recently approved by the Federal Executive Council. Mr. Sylva also promised to relocate every structure around the site at Otuoke to pave way for the immediate take-off of the university. The governor expressed appreciation to the Federal Government for siting one of the six new federal universities in Bayelsa, describing it as a quick response to the educational needs of the people. The minister had earlier told the governor that the new federal university, which was allocated to Bayelsa State, would be located at Otuoke, in Ogbia local government area of the state. With a little more than 20,000 people, Otuoke and Oloibiri, the communities where crude oil was first discovered in commercial quantity in Nigeria, belong to Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa State. slap1: slap1:Where do you actually stand my friend! All i said is, this project is all because of selfish reasons, the funds can be used to upgrade the present universities we have. Jonathan is only trying to be fair hence building a Uni in all zones. |
slap1:@Slap1 Please open your eyes man!. . . .Here is today's News Jonathan’s village gets federal varsity The Bayelsa State government will donate 200 hectare of land at Otuoke, President Goodluck Jonathan’s village, for the commencement of the new federal university to be sited in the state, Timipre Sylva, the state governor has said. @johndoe, If you believe that solving fuel scarcity is an achievement then you have a myopic view of things. . . Fuel scarcity has always been an off and on issue, it was never a long term issue. If you see only providing steady fuel, as a good job then im sorry for you |
We just wasted the last 4yrs! Jonathan is not different from the other clueless leaders we have had, only good to maintain status quo. . . We need serious CHANGE!, but majority of Nigerians dont seem to care Like you said dayo1401 we are a country of 150m, I believe there is 1 person that can put Nigeria on the right path. Not the same old guys, taking us on the same old path! |
Wow!. . .i'm still thinking unfortunately NOTHING! |
Good move rebranded! If each of us can reach out to 100 people through our facebook alone we can do our part in electing a credible President! |
I'm actually starting to believe our economy is growing. . .interesting! Kudos to Soludo, Okonjo Iweala & others that put the economy on this path |
@bermuda1 Sure Ribadu might not have the political experience like some other individuals, but note those individuals have not been able to bring about the change Nigeria needs. So its ok to say political experience does not mean you will be a good leader. Plus what we need now in Nigeria is someone that can get rid of corruption before it destroys us. Its because of corruption we dont have steady power, insecurity, flawed judicial system, lack of basic infrastructure in general! Apart from that, we want CHANGE!, PDP has ruled us for the past 12yrs. We dont want their dirty party to rule us again, do u know how many politicians are deflecting from PDP. Their days are numbered!. . . we will campaign till everyone in the villages know how to use their votes to cause a change to their lives. Vote Wisely, Vote Ribadu! |
bermuda1:@bermuda1 guess you are not aware that the reason things are not working in Nigeria is corruption. Guess you have also not considered what "experience" IBB or Atiku had before they became "good leaders" like you claim I dont believe either men had proved themselves in politics prior to holding the positions they disgracefully held. I hope i have answered your question, yes Ribadu was a policeman and later established EFCC as the organisation it is today! and he is no less able to become our President like the others who never had any political experience prior to their tenure. |
It is Now or Never! Vote Wisely!
|
Hello everyone, I think its time we all come together and begin our campaign for change from PDP and Vote in our Ribadu come 2011 Make use of your facebook pages, texts, emails, word of mouth, forums. . . .spread the word! Another 4years of PDP (Jonathan or Atiku) is going to be the same old acts Our future and the future of Nigeria is in our votes. Vote Wisely, Vote Ribadu! Guys lets use this thread to suggest ways to spread the word. . . . It is Possible! |
slap1:Sorry if you can be easily deceived, in Nigeria what u see is not actually what is happening. . . .sorry for you my friend ![]() |
debeginin: bermuda1:What did Jonathan do with the Seimens case, he could not even attempt to take them to court! @bermuda so who has the credentials to be a Nigerian President? IBB?? Atiku?. . .u better wake up and fight for change from PDP |
Any update on volunteering? we need to ensure we tackle this evil called PDP ![]() |
Any update on volunteering? we need to ensure we tackle this evil called PDP ![]() |
@monkeyleg hope you are ready to campaign for Ribadu, we need to get ourselves together and make this change possible. Without us standing up, this country is driven in a direction that the only option for people is to stay away and leave it for the any update on volunteering for Ribadu?? |
monkeyleg:Monkeyleg why not a RIbadu/Fashola ticket. I think Utomi has proved too desperate to be VP or P. |
This whole move is because Jonathan wants a Federal University in Bayelsa Lol the other 5 states are only enjoying, because He cant approve a Federal university for Bayelsa alone Politicians will also be politicians! The ones we have are not yet equipped, yet you go ahead and build more for your selfish reasons! ![]() |
Yea and i want to win a million dollars! ![]() |
SapeleGuy:Nigerians in general are not interested in issues that doesnt affect them directly, hence the reason the government gets away with alot of things. What we havent realised is, stopping an issue at an early stage will benefit all of us. How can the government sweep this under the carpet, because top govt officials are involved, what kind of message are they sending out to present govt officials, talkless of the international world. GEJ is not any better than a common PDP politician. . . . .unfortunately majority of NLnders are ready to vote for him come 2011, and then come back in here to complain and cry about what the govt is doing wrong This step is a step backwards in Nigeria's fight against corruption ![]() God help us! |
He has not done any term, he is only completing late yar'adua's tenure If Jonathan wants he can contest in 2015 cos like he said there is nothing like zoning ![]() |
LOL. . . . might be for his oga, na wa o! |
Yes something is wrong with those Maps ![]() |
alj harem:lol you are soo funny, they have a joint a/c where the state money goes are you even listening to yourself, does that make sense ![]() Let who bring out the document, are you guys not the ones alleging that fashola is stealing money, my friend bring out the document. Bring your proof if you want to paint someone black infact fashola should sue all of you including you for libel. You and sowore are just rumour mongers!, attention seekers thats all y'all are. |
alj harem:What else do u want? he said Tinubu does not own the company You nigerians can never be satisfied, must to judge and complain without having a way out o. . . .rubbish ![]() |
Fashola for PRESIDENT 2012!!! ![]() that sowore guy is a loser!, he thinks fashola is like ibori, ojo maduekwe and co? like how fashola put him on ignore when he saw he was no good |
mikeansy:Ibru and Okereke tried but they were corrupt i'm sure what they are worth is enough to run a state for a year ![]() i dont think OP can boast of 5 Nigerian women that have made a big difference with no link to corruption |
Nothing Good can come out of PDP no matter who is leading them I wonder how many years it will take Nigerians to understand GEJ = PDP |
SapeleGuy:Sapeleguy so who will u recommend out of the lot IBB doesnt talk like that, he is worse GEJ doesnt talk like that, but he is clueless LOL |
