but u guys dont seem to get it.its like buying a car from honda place .you are given the papers for the car,in this case sim certificate.and then one day honda sold your car to someone else because you parked it for some time without using,not minding that the document of the car is with you.Then one may ask,of what use is the sim certificate.I cant remember signing with mtn anywhere that the card is on loan to me.yes,they can withdraw the service but definitely THEY CANNOT RESOLD MY LINE. i stand to be corrected.see it from that angle.

i bought a piece of shit called mtn sim line last year.my bank e-alert,my pension alert/balance account and insurance e-transact were all connected to the line in addition to other personal contact and data.
Then ,the wahala started when i travelled out of nigeria for 6 months on national assignment, only to discover that my line has been sold to someone else,who is now recieving all this vital personal information of mine on the line.i have a sim certificate for the line and i have never reported it stolen because it wasnt.my contacts who were not aware then,sent important personal information to this number not knowing the line has been sold to someone else. pls i need advise.any lawyer in the house.

does anyone know any finance house/banks that is ready to give soft loan of about a million naira or so to a salary earner whose collateral will be an endorsement from his employer that his salary and entitlements will be paid into a mutually agreed acct with the bank or finance house for the purpose of gradual and scaled monthly recovery of the loan as calculated and agreed upon by both parties.the house is almost complete.money required for finishing

the police of any country is a reflection of that society.enough of this blanket abuse of the police by you all.how many of you are living within your means.a clerk in the ministry,a banker,teacher,accountant,name it,you are all driving vehicles worth 1.2m. or more on a salary not up to 3m per annum. how come.all we do is to open our mouth wide to abuse this heroes.mind you,tens of policemen are killed daily in an effort to defend you.on a salary less than that of your house maid.yet you see nothing in this.the fed govt is not doing exactly all it should do.the patrol officer is to fuel the police van by himself.is it the case in Britain or Usa or Germany.so what is the basis of comparison?.the divisional police officer has no impress acct.quote me.is that the case at the branch office where you work.do you contribute from your salary to hire cleaners to clean your office.that is what is obtainable at the police station.the divisional police officer is asked to use his discretion to repair the break down police patrol van.how? your guess is as good as mine.
as a civil servant when you are transfered or sent on course,you are paid.so also in the banks.not so in the police.you use your salary to attend that course and how much is the salary by the way.
this is february 18 th 2009,go and ask ,many police officers are yet to collect the pittance paid which is called january salary.can you imagine, a man who is to defend you and stop corruption according to you ,two months into the year is yet to collect a dime.that policeman is hungry and angry.he sees affluence all round him,he sees his colleagues being killed daily,he hears himself being called all sorts of names by those he is defending,nobody cares about him.he is frustrated.he is mad.so what do you expect.
yet,but yet,we have very nice and very refine officers.did you not watch or heard the story of the policemen who were given award for recovering the sum of #24m intact from an accidented bullion van where the occupants were unconscious.the money was returned intact,though they were the first to arrive the scene.what were they given by the new generation bank--#5000 each and a certificate of honesty to each of the 5 members of the team.
what about the police officer who was killed in EDO BY robbers because he refused to compromise his oath of office and blatantly refused to collect the sum of #10m offered by the syndicate for him to release their gang members caught by him.he charged the duo to court,2 years after their committal to prison , somehow, somebody,somewhere in the legal system released them and they came after the officer.yet we continue to talk of police- police.

im not a lawyer but a law enforcement officer.another easy way out for all, is for the wife to get the husband written consent /authority to sell the products sent to her duly signed by the husband from where-ever he is.she will then sell this car to you ,given you a copy of the consent. The transactions,i advised should be done in the presence of a legal practitioner.thanks.

lerelondon--you are entitled to your opinion.some people find it hard to believe others,i can understand.we all come from different background where our previous experiences in life shapes our attitude and way of life.

well, well.thanks to all you guys and gals who stood by me in my time of needs.also my regards to all those who tongue lashed ,paper lashed and even abused me.i can understand your annoyance at the go slow method that i adopted in this matter.i want you to know that just as i was letting you know the situation on the net and considering all the ideas you proffered,i was also at the same time getting advice from elders.to cut long story short, the cat was finally let out of the bag.
After her condition stabilised,elders on my side contacted elders from her side(the beauty of african culture) and both in the usual african way of pacifying aggrieved parties broke the news to her.initially she was adamant she doesnt want to see me again,but later she soft pedalled.she got the treatment and well , that was that.
initially, it wasnt easy at home,but gradually we both loosen up.things are yet to get to the same level of trust as before the incidence.she called me on xmas day and asked me to take her to the usual joint,same place where i broke the news to her.there she asked me to swear that i will answer whatever questions she asked me truthfully.i was desperate to pacify her.i did.
she asked me--what if she is the one that got laid by someone else,and got syphylis thereby,and in turn infected me.what will i do if she confess such things to me
i was speech less.my people its not easy o.i was just stammering.she close the topic and said ''you see yourself.any way, it will take divine intervention for me to trust you ever again''
i will live with that.time heal wounds.
honestly i promise myself,i will remain loyal and faithful to her for the rest of my life.

A cold March wind danced around the dead of night in Dallas as the doctor walked into the small hospital room of Diana Blessing. She was still groggy from surgery. Her husband, David, held her hand as they braced themselves for the latest news.
That afternoon of March 10, 1991, complications had forced Diana, only 24-weeks pregnant, to undergo an emergency Cesarean to deliver couple's new daughter, Dana Lu Blessing. At 12 inches long and weighing only one pound nine ounces, they already knew she was perilously premature.
Still, the doctor's soft words dropped like bombs.

"I don't think she's going to make it," he said, as kindly as he could.
"There's only a 10-percent chance she will live through the night, and even then, if by some slim chance she does make it, her future could be a very cruel one"
Numb with disbelief, David and Diana listened as the doctor described the devastating problems Dana would likely face if she survived.
She would never walk, she would never talk, she would probably be blind, and she would certainly be prone to other catastrophic conditions from cerebral palsy to complete mental retardation, and on and on.
"No! No!" was all Diana could say.

She and David, with their 5-year-old son Dustin, had long dreamed of the day they would have a daughter to become a family of four.
Now, within a matter of hours, that dream was slipping away. But as those first days passed, a new agony set in for David and Diana. Because Dana's underdeveloped nervous system was essentially 'raw', the lightest kiss or caress only intensified her discomfort, so they couldn't even cradle their tiny baby girl against their chests to offer the strength of their love.
All they could do, as Dana struggled alone beneath the ultraviolet light in the tangle of tubes and wires, was to pray that God would stay close to their precious little girl.There was never a moment when Dana suddenly grew stronger. But as the weeks went by, she did slowly gain an ounce of weight here and an ounce of strength there. At last, when Dana turned two months old. her parents were able to hold her in their arms for the very first time. And two months later, though doctors continued to gently but grimly warn that her chances of surviving, much less living any kind of normal life, were next to zero, Dana went home from the hospital, just as her mother had predicted.
Five years later, when Dana was a petite but feisty young girl with glittering gray eyes and an unquenchable zest for life.
She showed no signs whatsoever of any mental or physical impairment. Simply, she was everything a little girl can be and more. But that happy ending is far from the end of her story.
One blistering afternoon in the summer of 1996 near her home in Irving, Texas, Dana was sitting in her mother's lap in the bleachers of a local ball park where her brother Dustin's baseball team was practicing.
As always, Dana was chattering nonstop with her mother and several other adults sitting nearby when she suddenly fell silent. Hugging her arms across her chest, little Dana asked, "Do you smell that?"
Smelling the air and detecting the approach of a thunderstorm, Diana replied, "Yes, it smells like rain." Dana closed her eyes and again asked, "Do you smell that?"
Once again, her mother replied, "Yes, I think we're about to get wet. It smells like rain."
Still caught in the moment, Dana shook her head, patted her thin shoulders with her small hands and loudly announced,
"No, it smells like Him. It smells like God when you lay your head on His chest."
Tears blurred Diana's eyes as Dana happily hopped down to play with the other children.
Before the rains came, her daughter's words confirmed what Diana and all the members of the extended Blessing family had known, at least in their hearts, all along.
During those long days and nights of her first two months of her life, when her nerves were too sensitive for them to touch her, God was holding Dana on His chest and it is His loving scent that she remembers so well.
