Thank u all for your contribution. I might not apply, going alone won't be fun as I'm not even going for shopping or anything serious.
I calculated 680k for flight
Hotel 70$ per night and 8nights about 324,000
Feeding plus miscellaneous 500,000
For both of us

Our only free time is April ( our 4th wedding anniversary) because that's when kids are on holidays. Another time will be Aug

So maybe we will wait till August then. I'm just scared of denials

Ok so my personal account i made sure , it just gets ny salary , the one i pay myself monthly while my business account has very good inflow and outflow but the issue is, attimes i withdraw almost everything in my businessacct to buy goods for sale, but my personal is very ok with like 3m plus .
So i was thinking of just applying wt my husband alone , leaving behind my kids.
Im just confused but i will save more, trying to avoid transfer of unexplainable funds, thats why
HRprof:

If she doesn’t have inflows then is better advise to run the account with constant inflows and outflows to build confidence with visa office that shows she is actually doing business not otherwise
Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Ladybii: 1:30pm On Mar 02, 2022
Ok thankyou
mialate:
Some 6 to 7 M bank balance should suffice for your application.
Its important to have something financially OK to survive on after the trip.

Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Ladybii: 1:20pm On Mar 02, 2022
Okay thank u very much, pne last question, how much do u think is suitablefor 2 people, sorry for stressing u. Just want to have an idea
mialate:
Ladybii, Go alone or work on more funds.

1 person can work with that amount when applying not 2 persons.

Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Ladybii: 1:12pm On Mar 02, 2022
Am looking at 7 or 8 days maximum.
mialate:

After the trip , you both have 1m left to Survive on doesn't look good.

How many days are you guys going for?

Either hold on to get more Funds OR you apply alone that way the funds works.

Yes you can use the Personal as its Tourism.

Travel / Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Ladybii: 11:58am On Mar 02, 2022
Yes both of us have been to the us. I think it will be enough and about 1m left, please can u check my ither questions, sorry
mialate:
Ladybiii, First have you both been to the US together?
If yes, weigh the cost of the trip for both of you and check the balance left on your account after the said trip.

If the balance doesnt look good after expense, Apply alone.

I want to apply for uk or France visa, been to the US before couple of times.

My concerns are- must I submit business and personal statement of acct. Reason I ask is sometime last month, I withdrew almost all the money in my business acct to buy goods left only about 5k, I avoided my personal because of this visa thing. Now I want to submit just personal account dont know if it's feasible .can't I use just personal acct for the visa application

2- has anyone done the above and succeeded

3- can a wife statement of account go for both husband and wife applying

4- can someone help with link to apply and book appointment date as I have been to the US before (I see there's frequent traveler and no travel history links are not the same) from my understanding if what I read here, pls correct me if am wrong.

4- do u advise I apply alone, my husband's account for now isn't good, lump sums deposited and we just acquired a property so it's down now . Or I can sponsor as mine is above 3m, with good inflow and outflow

Please help please . Thank u

Is it a must i submit my personaland businessstatementofaccount or i can just submit the personal. Pleasehelp
AmeliaT:
Sorry about this. Refusal is straight forward. I see 3 issues.

2million annual income is too small.
Your statements didn't correlate with the claimed income.
Your statement doesn't have the required volume and sustainability so you don't come across as someone earning enough to afford this holiday and return.

The profile looks fishy. You have two rejections; a third one could be dangerous.

Two day course will signal desperation and deception. Retain your tourist visa but only when your circumstances have changed significantly. Build your travel history before going back. The UK is NOT the end all, be all. I have been to 36 countries by God's grace and was born/lived in England for many years and I can tell you it isn't in my top 20 or even 30 countries. I only go back `because it is home- family responsibilities, health maintenance and shopping. Otherwise, The UAE, South Africa, Qatar, Barbados, The Bahamas etc. offer way much more fun and excitement.

My Tips
1 Pay yourself a salary into your personal account every month and that should be the primary income there. Obviously, the salary should be a logical amount that's healthy and not eroding your business revenue/profit.
2 You Should present the personal and business account but make sure your business account is active on CAC.
3 Do not resort to inflation, sending through large deposits within the six-month period.
4 Spend as you normally would in your personal account, leaving some each month so that is accumulated to a healthy balance.
5 Review the statement first before you indicate your income, expenditure, and budget. Make sure the annual income matches the statement income. Annual income should ideally be X2 of your 6month statement. The expenditure should also follow the same principles.
6 Budget for the trip should ideally not exceed 2 months’ income. There is no hard and fast rule about this, but people have been rejected for a budget that was X4 their income.
7 However, ensure this budget covers your entire trip. Breakdown flight, accommodation, food, transport and a little bit for shopping and entertainment (not mandatory). Below is my personal budget guide which I came up with myself and is by no means prescriptive, but you can review, and tweak as needed. This will help guide to ensure your budget, length of trip and available balance are all in sync.
Flight- £564
Accommodation- £50/Day (unless you’re staying with a friend)
Food- £20/day
Transport- £10-15/day

Optional
Shopping- Variable
Entertainment- Variable
8 I personally advise that you try to ensure that the available balance in your account is 2X the budget for the trip. Because they expect that you have funds to go back to when you get back home. So, you can use your available balance to work backwards to see the budget you have available for the trip and therefore the number of days you can afford to stay. Others have gotten their visa with a 500k balance but it’s better safe than sorry.

These are my thoughts and of course there have been exceptions to the rules, both positive and negative. All the best!

2, can wife submit only personal statement of account without company statement of account or must be the 2
3, has anyone tried no 1

Vacation
beryour:
What exactly are you applying for? you need to be specific.

Husband or wife can be the main applicant or sponsor depending on what you are doing, then documents will need to show evidences.

Thank u soo much for this
UmmZayd:

Okay, let me help you understand some things here. Mum is not a dependant, only your own family (spouse and children/child) can be your dependant. So two things, 3 actually
1. You apply for F1 and your husband and kids apply for F2 with you. They can travel with you or not, it's not necessary.
2. You apply alone and everyone else apply later if they want to come.
3. You apply with your kids, F1 and F2 and mum apply for B1/B2 (with or without you)

The part where you said it will not be easy taking care of the kids and schooling, yes you are right. The kids have passed Daycare or learning center stage, their age should be elementary school or so. The Good thing is, they can actually enroll in an elementary school (if they come with you) while you also do your school.

My advice, apply with them, let them come when mum gets her visa so that the stress will not be too much.

Best of luck

Okay, thank you
bukhety:

You will need to send it to the school. You will take it along to the embassy too, though there is a high chance it would not be asked. I know someone who have tried it before and the mother and baby were denied. But there is no harm trying, you might be lucky.
Travel / Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 16 by Ladybii: 10:03am On Feb 12, 2022
Send marriage certificate to the school or the embassy. Im just asking if my mum can join me ,so things will be easier. It wont be easy taking care of kids , schooling for a starter like me. Im trying to weigh my options. Is mother a dependent thats what i want to know, has anyone tried it before.
bukhety:

I'm not sure you can use your mum as a dependant. In fact you will need to send your marriage certificate to confirm your spouse is indeed your partner. I will suggest you take your kids and apply for visiting visa for her later.

And 8 and 7 are not too young too. They will go to school too.
