New birth, salvation came after Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world. Jesus was called the lamb of God that took away the sins of the world.

Salvation is a gift from God. We couldn't save ourselves. Jesus paid the price with his own life, blood. He obtained eternal redemption for us.

In 1 John it says that herein is love, Jesus died for us even when we hated him. It was his love for us that made God take the cloak of flesh.

Christianity is not just mere rhetoric it is very deep. When you begin to grow in the Lord and your eyes is opened, you will understand more.


Then in addition when studying the Bible, you need to understand somethings. Reading just English version of the Bible, there are many things you cannot get it full understanding.


The English Bible was not the original language of the Bible. So English Bible will not give you the full meaning.

The Bible has three original language. The old testament was written in Hebrews. The New Testament was written in Greek. Then there was another old testament translation of Bible in Greek called Septuagint. The Septuagint was translated 200 years before Christ was born during the time of Alexander the great.

During the time of Christ, Rome was ruling politically while the language mostly spoken then was Greek. So all the new testament writers wrote in Greek language. The Bible that Jesus read in the synagogue where he quoted the spirit of God is upon me was the Septuagint.

Why am I saying this; you will have deeper understanding of the Bible.

Example in Isaiah 53. Psalm 103 Vs 2 to 5. 1 Peter 2 Vs 24. You will find out that Jesus paid the price for our sins and our sicknesses. It was not just salvation from sin but health for our bodies.

That was why Jesus and his disciples went about healing people sick. The Bible say Jesus will enter a city and heal everyone sick. Not even one sick person was left unhealed. Likewise the disciples.

But today you will see many people of God being tormented by sicknesses and diseases. You will see many people sick and Christians can't do any thing.

In the great commission Jesus told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel/goodnews. And this signs shall follow believers they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.

So why is there so much inability for the church to do that?

It is simply unbelief and lack of knowledge of Gods word.

Why were believers being baptized during Jesus Outreaches?

What was the purpose of Jesus disciples baptizing believers during Jesus Outreaches?

But Jesus saved the thief on the cross before his death - how?

All u need after salvation is connection to the Holy Spirit to stay sanctified.

Read Romans 10:1-3 to help urself.
Read John 15:3; John 17:17.

Yes, the disciples were born again and were also baptizing new converts according the scriptures.

Sanctification is totally different from Justification.

Being Justified through his blood, we have boldness and access to the throne of God.

Salvation is the initial work of grace gotten through believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth through faith in Jesus Christ. At Salvation, you got justification through the finished work of Christ.

Sanctification is the second work of grace whereby a believer that is totally committed to Christ prays for total uprooting of Adam and inbred sins that most times upsets most Christians unawares. The Holy Spirit regenerates our hearts and desires at Sanctification and make us more committed to the work of God and totally free from sin

Jesus Christ prayed for us all for sanctification when He said, God, not only these disciples but as many that will be converted through them.

No one is sanctified at Salvation. Sanctification is a definite work of grace. Jesus prayed for his disciples to be sanctified even after they have gone to evangelism and performed exploits through his name.

Sanctification is sought after and prayed fervently for to be received. Commitment is necessary for sanctification.
