modath:Actually, Nigeria earned #FantasticallyCorrupt badge because her President, Muhammadu Buhari forged Cambridge WASC Statement of Result and refused validation of the said fraud from the source pleading for authorization to publish the true results. |
The only write-up worthy of appreciation or/and reading now should be: Jonathan was right on subsidy removal. Tell us the flaws of Ojota's sponsored bring-back our subsidy protest. Condemn every opposition and demonization of Jonathan's administration on Subsidy removal January, 2012. Blast every anti-deregulation cabal and opposition to Jonathan administration second push to total deregulation when he re-echoed it six months after the previous was defeated. Do you know that the two challenges that escalated looting in Jonathan's administration was imposed on him? I mean fuel subsidy and Bokoharam. Both anti-deregulation and Bokoharam were sponsored to bring down Jonathan's administration and there they succeeded. Let's for once appreciate some of the great policies of past administration. |
989900:How come the exchange rate when it has been revealed that we swapped crude for refined product while the refinery buys constituents we don't need out of it? Do you perchance mean that Naira has been technically devalued hence holding/issuing N199/$ for/to any business concern is the greatest form of corruption which gives advantage to one business or class of people over others? |
We don't need any other loan to finance our budget. Kudos to EFCC |
oyb:What kind of stupid allegations are you referring to under Jonathan in January, 2012? To know that the major reason given by Jonathan administration to end the subsidy was to curtail the corruption perpetrated by the subsidy Cabals. What has Buhari done to curtail the corruption in downstream sector of petroleum industry - Absolutely nothing, Fuel sold 200% to 500% of pump price while Buhari was still paying for subsidy. Pray tell me how you can compare the failure to Jonathan. Your reasons are childish and devoid of any objective than the grand conspiracy to pull Jonathan's government down and oppose all well intended policies no matter how well crafted. If I may ask, has corruption abated under Buhari for a minute in Ministries, agencies and parastatals? - the corruption has escalated to 2.0 as we speak, so where is your reasoning coming from? Don't deceive yourself, bribery, forgery, man know man, employment racketeering, ethnocentrism, kick-backs, absentism to work, negligence to duty, conspiracies and a lot more are now the order of the day. Prosecuting past corrupt offenders while Police, amry, Civil/public servants are still messed in corruption under Buhari's watch betrays any jargon you spewed up there. Hypocrite and evil workers are what you people were and still are. Bigots |
Almajiri1:See what the hypocrite said in 2012 while fuming his hate, bigotry and frustration because GEJ was Nigeria's President. See his concluding statement showing hyper frustration in the bold omenka: |
The United States Justice Department said Thursday it had won legal control of nearly a half-billion dollars worth of corrupt gains hidden in bank accounts by former Nigerian dictator Sani Abacha. The department said a court judgment on Wednesday gave it title to more than $480 million that Abacha, who ruled Nigeria from 1993 to 1998, and associates had embezzled and placed in accounts in Jersey, England, Ireland and France. That took US authorities one step closer to eventually repatriating the money, only a portion of the billions allegedly stolen by Abacha, to Nigeria. The US is still seeking control over another four Abacha-tied investment portfolios in Britain containing $148 million. Based on the court judgement, the department will seek to have authorities in those four jurisdictions order banks to transfer the money to it, on the basis that the corrupt funds were originally moved through the US financial system. “General Abacha and others systematically embezzled billions of dollars in public funds from the Central Bank of Nigeria on the false pretense that the funds were necessary for national security,” the justice department said. “The conspirators withdrew the funds in cash and then moved the money overseas through US financial institutions.” An army general deeply involved in Nigerian politics since the 1960s, Abacha ousted a transitional government in 1993 and assumed the role of head of state until he suddenly died in June 1998. Assistant Attorney General Caldwell branded Abacha’s theft “brazen acts of kleptocracy” aided by his son Mohammed and his former associate and still-prominent politician Abubakar Atiku Bagudu. Justice Department spokesman Peter Carr said it was not clear how long it would take to take possession of the funds and give them back to Nigeria. “Our goal is to repatriate the recouped funds for the benefit of the Nigerian people,” he said. |
Do Nigerians have a say. Americans and Europeans eat fat on our looted funds, that's why it's mostly encourage one way traffic. They accept the cash and frustrate the repatriation. |
The rate at which Corruption is being practiced in government ministries and parastatals is second to non in this administration. To think that Buhari's administration failed to curtail the excesses of corrupt petroleum marketers for more than eight months tells us what he is made of. No will power or policy to check the excesses within his administration. Empty barrels makes the greatest noise. |
omenka:You are not only a hypocrite but also disgusting and never meant well for Nigeria. Just like the usurper in power, you've sold your conscience. Look at what you said back then omenka: |
During the 2016 budget defense, the amount proposed by the ministry of interior for feeding in Nigerian prisons was divided by the number of inmates already in detention and the committee got N140 a day per prisoner/detainee. Let this nonsense of N14,000 (Fourteen thousand Naira) be corrected to the real value, which is N140:00 (Hundred and Forty Naira only) per day. By the way, the committee promised to raise it to substantial amount before the final draft. |
Maisuya1:Tell us a better organized, civilized and coordinated group than IPOB anywhere in the world? A group that stages peaceful protest everywhere in the world without casualty unless coming from Law enforcement agency planted to cause havoc. IPOB are advance humans that value the sanctity and right of life. |
When you hear Northern Oligarchy shout on his equals and made the statement below: only “government has the monopoly on violence.”The question is "who then is this government"? Are there conquered territories and people in Nigeria? Now I am beginning to understand Buhari's statement in Katsina that they fought war, killed two million people hence no human can ask them to leave any portion of Nigeria. |
babadee1:Herdsmen are the most populated "ancient" tribe (united by culture and occupation) in Nigeria. Remember, I never said Fulani. just only herdsmen. |
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association has already told us that they have over 35 million herdsmen in Nigeria. That's an incredible advantage. By estimation, one in every five Nigerians is a herdsmen roaming about inside the bush if we accept the guesstimation of 175 million as Nigeria's population in 2016 |
BALLOSKI:I don't blame you, swallow every nonsense if it makes you feel great. Cross River is not N350 billion rather N303 billion The Cross River State House of Assembly on Thursday passed the state 2016 appropriation bill of N303 billion. http://theeagleonline.com.ng/cross-river-assembly-passes-2016-appropriation-budget/ Even Akwaibom is N423 billion and not N426 billion Delta State signed N268 billion and not N266 billion |
Stop reproducing junks on Nairaland. Imo budgets N102.2bn for 2016 fiscal year http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/12/imo-budgets-n102-2bn-for-2016-fiscal-year/ The Cross River State House of Assembly on Thursday passed the state 2016 appropriation bill of N303 billion. http://theeagleonline.com.ng/cross-river-assembly-passes-2016-appropriation-budget/ |
Stalwert:Because Goodluck Jonathan refused to convert, the Jihad lasted. I hope you are enjoying the pinnacle of your achievement obtained by blackmailing Jonathan's administration with quantum of lies and propaganda from Jihad imposed on Nigeria, just because an infidel won 2011 presidential election. |
All thanks to Northern opposition across party divide for using Jihad to frustrate Jonathan's Administration. It cost the country trillions of Naira for the sake of a nonsense religious war while Northern leaders, opposition and Jonathan's adversary cheered They are here for a memorial service to remember the accomplishments of their great courage and the pinnacle of their achievement. Janja.weeds, bigots, selfish and unpatriotic citizens |
Someone Cannot Just Chase Us Away In The Land We Fought Civil War - President Muhammadu Buhari 2016 in Emir's Palace, Katsina |
A former Bokoharam sympathizer has spoken. Evil man |
obailala:Go and mourn your dead and leave IPOB out of your funeral. Parasite. If everyone is suffering it why are you obsessed with IPOB? Were they responsible for blowing the pipeline or that your worst nightmare is becoming a reality. Swerve and face your tormentors. |
This must be a joke This is classic case of trying to convert an atheist to African religion May be the Judge has been compromised hence was afflicted with temporary blindness |
TonyeBarcanista:The present inflation is unconventional in that it has assumed that Nigeria already devalued the Naira (N320 to a dollar) or applied quantitative easing. Printing more money is a conventional monetary policy to lower interest rates, increase the money supply and support local investments. The attendant inflation can be controlled by the next phase of CBN monetary policies *** The recovered money (in Naira) is even enough to share the States for the next two years with/without printing more money. |
Joe4lv:You mean to tell us that you're privy to the terms of the swap? I too know dey kill. This is an old practice which is implemented to check balance of trade among countries. The formula for the swap is fair and not as you assumed.
|
That is equal balance of trade and a good development by my assessment. The FG should secretly/openly (whichever) print more Naira for disbursement to States. US print dollars, Britain print pounds and Nigeria should print Naira. The attendant inflation can't kill as it will gradually be absorbed into what is at present. |
omenka:The shame is on you for playing religion and ethnic card here as if Yar'dua was a Southern Christian from Anambra State. |
omenka:Something is eating you up and it's so glaring that everyone is seeing it. Take a break or better still grow up. You don't give a fvck as you said, yet your obsession have conquered every atom of self discipline expected of you. Maturity entails that you read and pass any subject that you feel nothing for or against but far be it from you, like flies you are attracted to faeces. Megalomaniac Bigot is calling someone unpatriotic yet has everything bad to say about Nigeria during Jonathan's regime. Hypocrite |
omenka:Yesterday, you supported the dissolution of Nigeria and today, you shout "One Nigeria" because the table has turn. What a hypocrite! Why are you so obsessed with Biafra? Were you not the one that called and supported the dissolution of Nigeria because of your hatred for everything Jonathan represented. Sometimes I begin to wonder if your memories are failing because you fight against what you once supported because of bigotry. Who made the statement below and why? omenka: |
wirinet:In real life most people commenting on Nairaland is opposite of their real personality. You mean these bunch of welfare children and dependents enjoying their obsession with Nairaland/social media are representative of a people? Chai, I am sorry you have been scammed. |
Is like Kano State systematically adopted Niger Republic as part of its population as to corner Federal allocation which 50% is based on population. This is the same State that offered no help to Benue State citizens when flood overflowed the State but choose to send multiple tens of trailer loads of relief materials to Niger Republic at the same time The former governor also established two bilingual boarding colleges in Niamey, Niger Republic; one each for males and females students |
ki02020:The expatriates who have the technical-know-how in handling most of the sophisticated equipment were waiting for clearance from Nigeria Union of Medical Association. |
