Business › Re: Naira Appreciates To ₦‎1,650/$ At Parallel Market by LadyExcellency: 1:05pm On Feb 27, 2024
The government should stop printing cash. This will be the best monetary policy in over a century.

The Argentine president has banned the printing of cash and is advocating stiffer punishment for the Central Bank Governor who prints money as a form of monetary policy without recourse to the laws and the constitution.

More things have been stolen in the name of religion than anything else in history. More people have been killed in the name of God than in all natural disasters in history.

Once a politician's name starts with Pastor or Reverend, run.
Stop this nonsense. Religion brought civilization and science. Atheism is the worst form of religion that doesn't come with social/human development nor support family bonds. It doesn't tolerate redemption and forgiveness.

It's like you were born yesterday. You were born into the traditional religion of your ancestors whether you like it or not.

Argentina was worse than Nigeria but their president had a blueprint and just had a balanced budget in decades without borrowing a dime. Banned printing of money and he is just doing fine.

So stop making excuses for President Tinubu and his cabinet.
Politics › Re: Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development Bill by LadyExcellency: 3:52pm On Feb 26, 2024
It is easier for Nigeria to be balkanized by the Act of the National Assembly than for this bill to pass as it is. Imagine telling politicians not to provide their electricity and to rely on NEPA.

Where has it happened?

Hypocrites in disguise. https://dailypost.ng/2023/02/22/2023-nlc-endorses-peter-obi-for-president/
What has endorsement got to do with NLC demands? Did NLC and TUC form the Labour Party in 2023? Is the Government a party property? The government is the people, not the ruling party. The parties come and go, and the government remains.

Labour Party in Britain and Unions in US of A have been endorsing political parties for elections since time immemorial and it's not stopping the government from giving in to their demands.

Funkyswagzz:
Can't you see the value of our currency to the dollar besides we import more than we export so how is this going to balance out in the long run?
Check the economic policies of the new Argentine President. It includes the legalization of the dollar as legal tender. The Zimbabwe government did it to stabilize their economy when the Zimbabwe dollar became worthless. The monetary policy department of CBN got to understudy those countries and see how they made a comeback to regain the free fall of Naira.
Politics › Re: Removing Fuel Subsidy Is Not The Problem But Floating The Naira by LadyExcellency: 9:34pm On Feb 24, 2024
Where is the Form Q and bidding system? Floating the Naira was the master stroke that liquidated Nigeria's economy and if nothing is done, we will abandon the naira for the dollar as a means of transacting business and exchange to recover our monetary policy back to its footing.

Politics › Re: Edo: Anderson Asemota declared Governorship Candidate in LP's Parallel Primary by LadyExcellency: 3:32pm On Feb 24, 2024
A (s)election that wasn't monitored by INEC is not recognized.

Any document addressed to INEC is meant to be received and documented hence make no mistake of misconstruing the INEC stamp as recognition of factions in the Labour Party.
Politics › Re: Labour Party Elects Anderson As Gov Candidate, Rejects Akpata by LadyExcellency: 3:24pm On Feb 24, 2024
Are you writing from the desk of Obaseki or APC as I can see you quoted some expired judgments to try to justify your opinion on authentic Labour National Executive.

No one is above the law.

All NLC leadership should be arrested if they go against the law.
I thought you would have said, "Taken to court". FG as a party in this case can't take laws into her hands except if ordered by the court.

Imagine the Attorney General of a country interpreting a restraining order as an order of perpetual injunction. Imagine construing a protest for a strike action.

Nigeria spoilt from the head.
Politics › Re: CBN Pegs Rate For Import Duty Payment by LadyExcellency: 7:50am On Feb 24, 2024
VeeVeeMyLuv:
It is a very bad move, he does it to bridge the gap between the official rate and the parallel market rate. The headache is that parallel market rate people (BDCs and co) keep adjusting and marking the price upward. This trend will continue like this until 10,000 naira equals $ unless BDCs are completely taken out of the picture.
There is nothing about pegging the rate as read from the headline. The CBN is directing the custom to charge and collect invoicing exchange rates. If I import goods at an exchange rate of N1500 to $1, the Customs duty should be charged at a percentage rate of N1500 by implication, if the duty is 5% then the customs duty should be 5/100*1500 = 75 instead of using a future unknown rate to calculate a rate for goods imported 3 months ago.

The police should not waste time in arresting them if they are sighted anywhere near the state assembly complex. These group of bad losers simply want to cause a serious breakdown of law and order in the state. You lost at the highest court for legislative electoral matter and so be it. David Lyon did not bring down Bayelsa when his victory was gifted to Duoye Diri. They should stop constituting nuisance in the state or get arrested immediately. The crass lawlessness on display by the former lawmakers must be stopped immediately.
Court of Appeal has no authority to go against supreme Court precedence or judgment. The Supreme Court has said severally before the Appeal Court judgment that it's only the part members that can seek redress on party membership and not another party. It is pertinent to note that the Supreme Court should assume jurisdiction and the judgment should be nullified.

Do u think Asaris boys will live Ijaw land and then come to Igbo land and cause havoc and go Scot free??

The problem of Igbos are indeed Igbos
Asari Dokubo is a private military contractor in the likes of Blackwaters in USA. Asari fights alongside Nigerian Military. Asari Dokubo has license to carry guns and ammunition with his boys anywhere in Nigeria without arrest. With Your level of ignorance, I will assume your are in your twenties or thirties and as such I can excuse you. We now have peace in Southeast courtesy of President Tinubu doing nothing other than removing Asari and his boys.

They have rockets that can reach Israel in minutes but they fear the consequences. Their mission is to sponsor fringe elements to attack Israel and bear the destruction like what Hamas is doing in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Iran doesn't want the fight on her forefront. This is a wicked terrorist entity.

Trump was the only US President whose financial and assets worth depreciated during and after his presidency. Check back at Bushes, Clinton, and Obama and come back to throw away this garbage.

All his predecessors are political operators with no name brand hence nothing as no business of theirs like Trump Towers and Hotels we're people can lodge.
