At least you were a governor without blood in your hands. |
And there were no Igbo contestants. Just there to vote for one of the Yorubas who believe in the coexistence of every tribe in Nigeria. It is even a crime in Yorubaland for Igbos to vote in National elections in Nigeria. |
Fren232:It's not true, you can't bully the powerful. Unless you don't know the characteristics of a bully. People with no structures, no political sponsorship and nowhere near the corridors of power or had any advantage can't bully but can only make their voices heard. |
Fren232:Just summarise the sentence. It's a hate feast. It's all about hate and bigotry on anything about Igbo and Igbo people. Any project headed or championed by an Igbo must be given an ethnic colouration by most Southeasterners, especially Yoruba politically oriented thugs (we have so many of them on Nairalandand, Twitter and in the slums), just to defeat it. They feast on our national faultlines to achieve a political end to the detriment of the whole country. |
helinues:Can't you just give up your insincerity and stand on the side of the truth for once? With so much embedded and unconscious hate and bigotry, I don't know how you find joy for a living. It's not that it makes you better, richer, more influential powerful or more placed than any average Obidient just that you derive satisfaction, not joy in some dumb warped ideology and none existing supremacy battle in ethnicity and religious philosophy. |
Nobody voted for APC in Owerri except a handful of people. The truth is that PDP won Owerri Municipal and some other LGAs while Labour took some. I was surprised to see what the devilish Governor did. Arresting very collation officers and using BVAS figures to rewrite and falsify the outcome of the elections. I don't think I will vote in another election in Nigeria if there is no overhaul and total reform with no-rigging full-proof enacted into law. It's just over for Nigeria. Things have gone to worst and democracy is dead and buried in Nigeria. |
Political INEC will have a reason not to obey the court order |
Political monarch. Thank goodness, he didn't vow to drown Igbos in Lagoon. It is now one man, one vote. The majority wins, no tribe or ethnicity. |
helinues:"fool's" is not the same meaning as "Fools" When did an adjective turn to a plural noun? Secondly, you misrepresented the application of the word which was used as an attribute to the character than a total representation of his existence. |
helinues:Where did you see fools in my comment? I meant Reno Omorkri and secondly, I am his senior in every ramification, age, social status, intelligence, fulfilment and family-wise. He even blocked me the day I exposed the scoundrel on Twitter. |
At least, the South won against the fool's wish of retaining power in the North from one unforgiving Fulani to another unforgiving Fulani. We still won. You can't restructure Nigeria in any meaningful way with a Fulani as President. |
Is Tinubu not a smoker? Why shame the woman? Evil men. Yardua was a chain smoker and nobody slammed him. |
MorataFC:Did Peter Rufia win the Confederation of African Champions League even once, let alone back-to-back as Enyama? |
oluwasegun007:He has 2 Championship League with Enyimba International. Remember, Continental Champions are the same all over the world. |
helinues:You said we have other borders apart from Land borders for export and my question is where and how do I get my peeled melon to Cameroon 🇨🇲 for sale without stress? Akwaibom/Cross River land borders are the best for us in the East. What better alternatives are you suggesting apart from Lagos Seaport? |
The system shouldn't have allowed a blurred picture. The resolution should have been set by Irev for what is acceptable input resolution. |
helinues:Nigeria shouldn't be a Lagos State (seaport) Economy. All of us not living or doing business in Lagos State that export our peeled melon to Cameroon through Akwaibom/Cross River borders should close business. Okwa ya? Evil men |

onatisi:As in, Nigeria has become a Communist State, abi traditional institution? CBN is an independent Federal Institution that controls Deposit Money and Commercial Banks. Is there any gazette from Mr President to CBN Governor to Commercial Banks to collect old notes that was refused? Can't you see how quickly everyone complied when Mr President ordered that old N200 be accepted as legal tender? The buck stops on the President's table. |
Thomas, the scientist. Trust but verify. |
Are you ready to offer free services to Peter Obi's political future without payment? |
flokii:I don't see any line crossed between a native of Ibadan and an Igbo man who owns his mansion, lives in Lagos Mainland and does business in Computer village. What host are you talking about? How does an indigene of Ado Ekiti host me that bought a mansion in Eko Atlantic and running a downstream oil sector business in Delta State? I am always confused with these lines of "respect for the host" unless you are talking about the government and civil authorities that help in maintaining peace and harmony in the neighbourhood. |
flokii:I better fix myself than be used in Ethnic supremacy that brings nothing to the table. It's better I develop myself, my children and my family. Most of these miscreants are hungry and disgruntled. With a good paying job and fulfilling careers, I see rich people going beyond ethnic lines and socializing beyond borders. |
With 33% of the total vote cast in the presidential election, this isn't a true mandate. I still prefer a Southern mandate, anyhow, anyway. |
flokii:If I understand you well, a Yoruba in Ibadan who has no transport money to go to Lagos State has a right and legitimacy to Lagos State than Nigerians from other tribes who were born and bred in Lagos, have prosperous businesses and mansions in Lagos, living fulfilled life with their families? This is the most stvpid perception ever a grown-up can have. How do you have a right where you can't even vote because you have no PVC, no polling unit and not registered to vote in Lagos State. What a sorry state of a living soul. |
Imo State is hopeless with Hope Uzodinma. |
helinues:So without PVC, no polling unit to vote in Lagos State you want to have a say? |
helinues:After the genocide, nothing existed in the Southeast after the war. With no infrastructure, no houses, and no government presence, Igbos started from scratch without any help from anywhere in the world. No reconstruction, no rehabilitation, and the children that were born after the war had nothing to start on yet they were forced to migrate to zones that are hostile to them but yet in half a decade, they have grown and developed to overrun Nigeria cities and suburban centres. Please give them the credit. In the next fifty years, if Nigeria remains united, they will lead and dictate who is elected in every city in Nigeria. This is a certainty. You can't live in Abeokuta, Ekiti, Ondo, Kwara, Kogi, and Ibadan and be threatening the citizens of Lagos State in an election in which you have no stake, no PVC and no polling unit. You can't come from Ogun, Ondo, Ekiti, Oyo, Osun or Kwara State on election day to Lagos State to vote. Why make a hell of a noise when you lack the numbers to push a candidate to victory? |
PandoraObi:Sanwo Olu knows the real presidential results are at odds with his reelection agenda. The real results weren't close as they made you believe hence the Governor wants a space to ask for a second chance. |
liljomo12:It was intentional and Mahmood knows the election was being rigged while he shut down the server for the presidential transmission of results. Injury to one is an injury to all. |
