Congratulations!!! This is a first!!! I am so happy for you. I salute your courage. I can't imagine the fear and anxiety you must have experienced living in Nigeria as queers. Now you are safe. Also the long wait post-AOR must have been really disturbing. You score 9.9/10. Take this badge of courage for you and bae.

Make what short? Please we encourage very lengthy PPR stories here. There is always a lot to learn. Don't angry me grin The shorter your story, the lower your scores tongue
SonsOfLiverpool:
Make it short next time. This, is a good read, an exceptional case and thank the gods you got what you fought for.

To be safe, answer yes to the medical question and explain in the space under that you do not consider his condition to be serious and you believe it would not burden their health system. But you would like to be entirely honest and disclose. If you have medical reports from specialists upload as well. You can also submit it to the panel physician during medical exams, although that might not be necessary since the physician would give his own report acceptable to CIC.

CIC would use their discretion. If during medicals, they decide it is not a serious case, you would still pass medicals despite answering yes to that question. I answered yes in mine as I thought my health issue would be serious but I still passed.
ebixxx:
[b]CONGRATULATIONS on your PPR fruitybranch007!

I wish you and your family great success in your new homeland!

Please, I am about to submit my application and my son had a birth injury (called ERB's palsy) at birth, which affected the nerves to his left arm and makes it difficult for him to raise it as high as his right arm. He requires occasional physiotherapy to strengthen some of his left shoulder muscles. Otherwise, he is healthy in every other regard.

Please, how did you go about declaring your dependent's Medical condition?

And based on our case (highlighted above), how do you advise I proceed with mine (what do I submit initially) to avoid additional requests/delays?

Did you upload the Medical reports from specialists along with a Schedule A form with your application? Or were they submitted during Medical exams with the Panel Physician? OR BOTH?

On the Schedule A form, please what is the BEST/SAFEST answer to the question "Do you or any of your family members have a SERIOUS medical or PHYSICAL or Mental disorder"

SoR: I don't think so as long as you send it before the expiry date. Email WES to be doublesure
NOC: No implication. People change NOC even post-AOR if they can defend it in their CSE/LOE. But note that if you get PNP with a particular NOC, changing it after invitation would make your PNP invalid.

jaybros:
If a SoR has a clause written on it that it expires after a certain period of time and you still send it to an ECA body, will it be rejected even though the university sent transcripts?

Is there any implication for editing your NoC to a more appropriate one after entering the pool?

I am doing great today. PPR? Almost. CIC unpredictability has a way of messing one up. One moment you're happy, then angry, then positive, then sad, then hopeful, then helpless, then carefree, then thankful etc grin grin But like you said, we move, we never give up. Sure you have, but the thread is constantly evolving, you can always pick up whichever page you rejoin. I am rooting for you. Stay with us. It will end in praise.

Ladymarshall....thanks so much, been stuck with work and life generally. We are sure moving and not giving up.

When they say this journey isn’t for the faint hearted, it really isn’t. Sometimes I wonder how I survived the past months, my anxiety was on another level, it was crazy. I even have to pinch myself and remind myself that this is actually happening and that I’m leaving this country, it can get scary though because I will be leaving all my family and friends behind to start a new life. Finally thanks to this wonderful thread that made the journey easy, I started following this thread when it was in part 3 and I made sure I read from part 1 and that helped me a lot.

Sorry about your refusal but it would be reopened. Raise a CSE and appeal. Look at what this applicant did. He got PPR recently https://www.nairaland.com/5187408/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/349#80404370

gretop:
Dear Experts,

I need your advise. I got a refusal letter on my application today which does not add up. The denial ground was that I did not have sufficient proof of funds but I do have funds to the total of CAD20990 with stanbic mutual funds. The minimum requirement for my family size is CAD19390. My mutual funds states categorically that I have full access to it and can liquidate it in partial or fully. The last GCMS notes I requested that I got last week did not state anything about issues with POF. It only said it requires further review. I don't even know what to do at this moment. I need advise please. I still have additional funds in my other accounts but did not bother to raise a CSE cause I thought i had passed the minimum POF. Is there an email I can contact or some phone number to reach to state my case and show that I have enough funds?

Waiting your advice on next steps or even a way forward

You have to keep appealing to the SA embassy to make a quick decision on her application so her passport can be released. If that fails, she may have to withdraw her SA visa application and request for her passport to be resent. Embassies don't hasten decisions just because you have applied to another.

TYPOP:
Hi all. Please I need assistance.

I don't know what to do and may have to decline my ITA for the 4th time. I have declined it 3 times now and I have just received another one.

My issue is that my wife applied to SA embassy in Lagos for SA visa. Till date, her passport is still with them. This means she is unable to go for medicals (from what I have read on this thread, passport is required). This has been the major reason for my declining each time.

Is there anything I can do please? Thank you.

I totally agree. I can't forget 2015/2016 when naira crashed by half against the dollar because of one stupid CBN policy. Naira never recovered. Kai! After my financial tumult that year, I swore I'll never invest with naira for any foreign transactions/deals. I really recommend dorm accounts for financial peace of mind.

DexterousOne:

For me i take option 2 over other options
The naira is walking in thin ice
A lot of things going on that I know of, that the Nigerian public is oblivious to.
That is why I am building up the funds in my dorm acct gradually
But anyone can do what he thinks is best..
But USD over NGN any time anyday for me

When you get the passport in the different state, cancel the 2nd application.

NPC Attestation suffices

Dinma27:
Is it possible to have two international passport done concurrently? Like while one is delaying, you do another one in a diffetent state that is faster- This is tge first international passport ever.

Thirdly, people that don't have the original birth certificate anymore, shey atteststion of birth suffices for IRCC or is there a way to get another birth certificate lets say i need a new one? Does affidavit suffice?

Please i really want to know if there is a way of getting another birth certificate.

CLB 9: LRSW 8777 is not the max an applicant can get to claim more points. CLB 9 gives 124 points while CLB 10 LRSW 8.5 8 7.5 7.5 gives 136 points. For some, the extra 12 points can make a great impact for ITA.

With high CRS scores in draws these days, new applicants should practice hard and max out ielts.

Tina26:
evaluate only your msc . If your scores is low using 8777 u would need pnp or french tef
