China is nobody's master. If the outbreak started in USA or even in Italy we wouldn't be in the mess that we're in now.
China had about 4 weeks to deal with the outbreak but they did nothing but shut down chat groups and arrest those that were alerting the public about the virus. They were more concerned with protecting the "image" of China than actually dealing with the virus, allowing it to spread outside the country before taking it serious.
The way they Dealt with the virus after those 4 weeks was impressive but that's after playing politics with a deadly virus, unleashing onto the world.

I think China should be sanctioned after this mess.

the truth is, by the time our govt began to take precautions, things had gone so bad. Do you believe the virus had been in Nigeria since January and those who brought it in the country had been dying secretly? How many returning travelers between January and early march can Nigerian govt account for? How many can they trace in a country where fake addresses thrive...where leaders forge certificates to get to power, where her leaders deliberately kept mute for political reasons on the conduct of census to know the actual population figure? I only blamed our present and previous Presidents, head of states, governors, all MPs, local government authorities since 1967 after the war for not investing in National Health care. All the leaders have their clinics abroad while they abandoned Nigeria for the poor masses.
Most governors were busy building flyovers, planting flowers on roundabouts leading to just a few areas with pictures unloaded on social media.
