In Nigeria the federal, state, and local government officials and politicians are busy fighting for positions for 2023 elections which some of are not even sure that they see 2023.
Today the news are all about APC /Oshiomole/cabals. Citizens welfare and protection is secondary.

Here in Europe a Major of a City will commission roads and multiple billions euro projects daily without any noise and party. A governor will partner with foreign & local investors to build multinational industries no noise.
In Nigeria a governor will spend huge amount of money and organise heavy party just to commission a project less than 1 million €. And the local citizens will stay off duty just to celebrate a governor for performing his Duties.
