N3000 Lenovo T61 (Intel Core 2 Duo): Needs OS re-installed or new hard drive N5000 HP Compaq nc2400: Either needs hard drive to be secured properly or it needs a new hard drive. Update All customers with pending payments and items will be contacted before the week ends so that they know when to expect their payment or where to get their items. As much as possible –I will provide updates every week (around the weekend) with payments and deliveries made to pending customers so that it will be evident to all that we have not run away with anyone’s money or items. We have already delivered or refunded close to 70% of pending items. -We are making at least 2 payments this week on or before Friday. Possibly 4. -W e have just 2 customers left who ordered mini laptops. A total of 3 minis between the 2 clients. One of them has previously requested for his refund. The minis are amongst items used to replace the missing shipment from last year. I expect them to beamong the items to be picked up in a few days-. The N15,000 paid will be refunded to the first customer-while the 2nd customer will able to pick up his minis. These are pictures of the Minis.

Scambuster1:I was referred to this post today. Mr Jimmy is not a scammer. He is one of several people based in Nigeria that I have worked with in providing logistics for people who ordered items. There is not a single incident of scam or fraud associated with him. Hundreds of items were picked up by his logistic services and all were delivered without question. No customer ever reported the loss of items. As recent as last month-a large consignment of items shipped by sea that had been pending for months was delivered to the owners via Jimmy. And also an air cargo box with ladies hand bags and items that had been with customs. The box had items worth close to N200,000. Jimmy collected the items and delivered them. He didnt steal them or disappear and this is someone whom I dont even know where he lives. In the past this same Jimmy has collected iphones, laptops worth 200k and all were delivered. In the course of the challenges my business has faced -I have had many aggrieved customers. I even had one customer -file a complaint with the Police-and I was contacted by the Police-but the person who filed the complaint gave his name and identity and I was able to respond. If there is an instance where you believe I have defrauded you-file a complaint with the Police whether in Nigeria or the USA and I will respond. If I was trying to defraud people-I wouldnt be making payments (with over 400k returned this year), clearing items and contacting customers. Having a troubled business is not the same as fraud. A business either makes or losses money. If a business loses money-it will be troubled or even collapse. That is not fraud-thats the reality of real life. One fault I have had is not posting updates so that people would not be in the dark. But it is hard to post updates-when there are so many delays and challenges. I apologise again for this sad situation-but failing in a business attempt is not fraud. No one has been, is being or will be defrauded. |
From Lagtech We have not been absent from our duties to customers. As soon as an item is ready for pick up or payment is ready-we contact the affected customer. As of December 2014 we had: -About 56 customers owed items and/or funds -About N875,000 pending refunds As of May 22nd- we have -About 19 customers owed items and /or funds -About N295,000 pending refunds We apologize once again for these circumstances. No one has been defrauded. If we were fraudsters-we would not be making refunds or making efforts to get over due items to customers. Just last week-we made refunds to two customers and this new week-3 people will be refunded in part. The last 1 month-we delivered over 200kg worth of over due items to some customers. We have scheduled deliveries for June 6th to 14th for about 10 customers. We appreciate the patience and cooperation of all our customers. The recovery has taken much much much longer than we expected and hoped for, but we have made progress week by week and all in all-we expect to finalize all pending issues within a matter of weeks. To make things smoother-we will contact the remaining affected customers within the next week-so that no one will be in the dark and everyone will have an idea when and where to get their item or money. |
All remaining undelivered items are due to be handed over to their owners this month starting from Saturday. We will be contacting owners-with due dates. A few customers with heavy bulk items that came through a shipper will be at Okota. I sincerely apologize again for all the heartache caused those yet to get their items and refunds. While a lot of progress was made at the beginning of the year-some unforeseen circumstances cropped up late February that made progress difficult. We have almost resolved those now and are sorting things out. We expect to contact everyone individually from later this week -so that no one will be kept in the dark. I am also getting access again to my messages (email and bbm). From next week-I will endeavor to post names of the pick ups-so that our progress will be evident to all. All in all-we are bringing a close to this ' dark' chapter-as we chart a new beginning-a new dawn. The business of importation should not be this difficult. I am sorry for the problems that many have had to face. We are planning two forums -so that everyone can have a better idea of what caused these delays. The first will be an online session -where we will seek to answer all questions and as much as possible compensate all those affected. At this point-even after people collect their items/money-we believe they deserve answers. |

We have had a long and stressful period- Over 2 million naira in losses Hundreds of customers lost Packages undelivered but we thank God for his Mercies. We thank God for all our customers who not only continued to be patient with us-but kept sending messages of goodwill and advice. I have been contacting our many customers whom we have offended-and will continue to do so. We apologize to all our resellers and customers who have lost customers as a result of these troubles –our new compensation plan will help you bounce back. Pick Ups We lost several shipments and many are still on hold due to a shipper. We have began to replace items for owners instead of waiting and waiting. 3 dual core laptops with webcams were delivered to Mr Benjamin last week from his consignment. 2 Laptops will be delivered to Mr Resourceman this weekend. We also have arrivals for Mr Adeyemi , Nostalgia 21 and Mz K-all available by the end of the week God willing. Everyone with items is being and will be contacted. The bulk of our pending items, delayed items and replacements will be delivered in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Refunds We have refunded over N500,000 since October last year. With almost zero inflow of cash since we stopped business last year-refunds have been difficult. We pledge to make refunds to all those due-but we ask for patience as we make these refunds. We are contacting people with refunds this week so that they have an idea of when it will be paid. Compensation Aside from the promised shipment of laptops where only shipping will be paid-we will also be getting sweet deals for all our customers who have lost money from delayed goods. The foundation is sometimes the hardest part of a building-but when it is completed-it can support any structure. Happy New Month to everyone! |

Update Update Update Countdown to normalcy Finally, we can now countdown to the date when we can finally resolve all pending issues. Another set of pick ups this weekend and more next week plus the sea cargo pick ups within 2 weeks will clear almost all our backlogs. We have a particular package sent in October that we have not taken custody of and we have been replacing items in that package by giving owners replacement laptops. Aside from this –we have made progress with refunds for those who requested. It has been tough-but we will do what is right and proper. If you emailed or sent bb messages today or yesterday-replies have not been sent as something went wrong with the network password-it is been corrected and all messages will be replied. Please note that there is nothing wrong with Compact Logistics. Compact Logistics does not owe us any item or shipment. The only delays we had with them was last year and it was not their fault. Compact Logistics has an office/partner in my state: Minnesota. The 2 shippers we have problems with are based outside my state and while I have issues with them-they have not absconded with our goods-whatever is with them will be delivered. WE HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH COMPACT LOGISTICS-they are a quality trusted shipper. |
