Dell Laptop for Jimmy from Craigslist.

Lagtech is a business designed primarily to help Nigerians get quality items for cheap prices in the United States and on the Internet. Our reliance on 3rd and 4th party shippers has caused us many losses and problems to the point where some people actually think we are out to scam people. We are a business offering services to thousands of people in Nigeria , the United States and many other countries. The experience of the last few months has necessitated a change in the way we do business. We want to have happy customers-who spend their money with peace of mind. We have put an end to the multiple delays. This is our last month dealing with 3rd and 4th party shippers. We will get all our items that have been delayed and give to the owners. Where we cannot in a matter of days-we will provide a refund. |
inspire7707:Yes. Email replied and packages sent as you requested. |
nkeona:I thought I was trying to be of help when I sold a mini laptop for 15k to you. I am really sorry that the delay has made the good effort look bad. We cant do away with your money sir. |
omoteamac:Resourceman I know and Resourcewoman I have heard about-but who are you sir? Tell your oga Satan-that he has missed road for here. Oya comot for road before trailer jam you. |
ResourceMan:Resourceman. Bros e ! Bros e! My father was not a criminal, neither was my grandfather-nor my great grand father or anyone in my family-we dont do crime in our family. We work hard for our money and like many human beings -we face challenges that can make people doubt us-but crime -no way. Like my Yoruba friends used to sign on campus during the days of Aluta---"I will rather be a slave then be a criminal" -Wetin I go use thief do for my life-rather than thief-i will be a slave. I posted on the thread yesterday (Sunday) .I am here posting today. I cant abandon what I built by God's Grace. 300 pages on Africa's number 1 website no be beans o. Money sef no dey buy that kind thing. And this is after I lost 185 pages to the Nairaland crash of July. Our present challenges are temporary -they are being solved. We have delivered hundreds of items to hundreds of people. There are some weeks-where up to 30 people picked up. All the items that have been delayed are less than what we delivered during some weeks of pick ups. We started from the bottom bros and God took us here. We wont disappoint God nor the many customers who have continued to show faith in us. We have learnt our lesson and we have corrected things. As I said yesterday -anyone whose items are not picked up by the next pick ups (this weekend and before Christmas) -we will refund your money. |

chidekings:Bros -we are sorry that things did not work well. The laptops as agreed were: 2 icore5(4gb ram or 8gbram,500hd or 1tbhd 4 icore3(gbram or 6gbram,500 hd) 4 dual core(camera,4gb ram,500hd) + the 75k. The delays almost brought our business to a standstill. But we thank God for his Mercies. I have a confirmed buyer for the i5s and i3s . As I mentioned in my post on Sunday-anyone whose items are not picked up at our next week-we will make a refund. We will make your refund and sell the laptops. You have tried and we appreciate your patience and business. |
Alphaoscar:Bros-haba. We are not happy when customers items are delayed-whether its 1 week delay or 3 months delay. But 7 months? for air cargo or sea. 7 months ago was May. How is that possible. Our first transaction was in April and we had only 3 clients then: Nostalgia21 (laptop) azpekuliar (2 PS4s) Joe (Laptops)- their items were delivered. Our first sea shipment left in July. |
Adinije:We apologise. We do our best. With refunds-its a challenge as any refund we are making -we loose money. If we make N10,000 refund-we have lost about 2k on that. When an item has already been shipped-its double challenge. We have made many refunds. We have a list and yours is next-payment should be Tuesday. |

fashrola:@Fashrola -you too? But you have collected almost 20 items from us. We shipped them successfully to you. You said you are plenty? Plenty in what? You still owe us over 10k for items shipped. Almost every item we shipped to you-you either paid when it landed or paid only in part. Even all the items you ordered recently -we shipped without payment and you too are now calling us a scam. Life is not like this bros. It took me 2 days of driving here and there around the city to buy your e-cigarettes-. It took almost a week to lock down the iphone on craigslist. All extra service we offer our clients. Extra services we dont charge for. I understand people for whom this is their first transaction-and have been disappointed by the delay. But you!!! This life! Remember the first transaction you had with us? I purchased a laptop for you from ebay-$175-you told me to go ahead and buy it-that you would pay the next day. After purchasing-you now said you had no money -that you would pay later. I never complained-I handled the situation and moved on and now rather than let the world know that we are a business that has treated you right-you too join to say these things. Life is not like this bros. If every customer is like you sir-a business will die fast fast. Abeg-pick your iphone and other items from Jimmy when Chinos gives him the box and find your level. |

Updates We appreciate all our customers and apologise for the delays that has affected many people. Since April we have delivered over 300 laptops and hundreds of other items to many people on Nairaland. This present predicament is almost as its end. If we delivered over 1000 different items-there is no reason we will not deliver 30 items. We are definitely having pick ups this week. We have at least 2 to 5 boxes already confirmed to be in Lagos. 2 boxes are coming through Chinos and he has confirmed that we can pick up hopefully this weekend. There are also 2 other boxes that USPS mis -delivered-so they arrived late to Chinos-so he only shipped them on Monday. We hope to possibly get these this weekend too. Another 3 are from a shipper in Ikeja. No one can grow a business by cheating people. No one can build a billion naira business by delaying the delivery of items. We are building a billion naira business. These last few months have taught us many lessons. As I said yesterday-anyone with items not picked up during the pick up this week and next week-we will arrange for your refund. We have already given over 400k worth of refunds between October and December and will still be paying some refunds this week. This business has relied too much on 3rd and 4th part shippers and rather than make money-we have lost money heavily-which is why from January-we have new arrangements for our items. We cant keep on begging shippers and at the same time customers and still be loosing money. Laptops We have about 27 laptops that should have arrived since November-but have been delayed. They will be available for sale between January 5th and 14th in Lagos. You can pay and pick up from the shippers office in Ikeja. Netbooks 19k Dual Cores with no webcams 17k Dual Cores with webcams 24k HP i3- 40k (2) HP i5-45k HP i7-55k Laptop Repairs If you have a computer repair shop or you sell laptop parts-we have about 50 laptops we are selling for 5k to 7k each including shipping. All are incomplete and we assume that whoever is buying wants to use the parts from them: screens, keyboards, dvd drives etc. They are mostly dual cores and Pentium Ms. The most complete ones need hard drives and chargers to make whole. |
fashrola:Bros-who is keeping mute. Have you emailed or pinged me and I refused to reply? You posts can be confusing. You have not contacted me ONCE in the last 1 week and you know my email and my BBM PIN. Every message and email that you sent previously I REPLIED ALL-so how am i keeping mute. Infact I have over 300 old messages from you (both emails and BBM)-ALL REPLIED.. Busky01 has items in that box -he emails I reply. Fahud has items in that box-he emails -I reply. Chigoke has items in that box-he pings and I reply. You can confirm form Chinos himself. I still texted him on Thursday and called him yesterday. He said that he has been unable to get all his items from the airport and that I should expect him to pick up that box next week. |
We apologise to people who have had to wait and wait for their items. I was expecting to pick up this weekend. I spoke with one of the shippers yesterday -who is also on Nairaland and he told me that even though NAHCO strike is over-they are still waiting to pick up their items. We have 2 boxes with this shipper and 6 boxes with other shippers. These contain all items that we have not delivered to customers. Our first pick of about 4 boxes should thus be this Saturday. No delay can last forever. The remaining boxes should not exceed the following few days. Whatever items we cannot claim during this period-we will work to make refunds to all those who purchased from our inventory since the laptops can easily be sold-but nothing should stop pick ups this weekend. I get emails and bbm messages from many people complaining that one day is been shifted to another. This is not our intention and does not favor us . If someone orders from us and does not have his item delivered-how will he come back and order another item. For over 4 weeks now-we have not had any pick up from air cargo and there are items that have been months. This is one reason why from January -we expect to have our own shipping process -and there will be no need to be 'begging' a shipper or asking 'how far bros how far oga' -when we are not shipping for free. We have delivered over 500 laptops to people on Nairaland or via Nairaland adverts-there is no reason why we will not deliver 20 or 30 laptops. There are people on this thread who have picked up laptops or other items every month since April. There are people who have picked up N800,000 worth of items. There are people who have picked up 15 laptops. There are people who have picked up 5 iphone 5s at a time. There are people who have ordered and picked up over 20 different times. If your business moves forward-then our business moves forward. Also we will finally be picking up the first batch of sea shipment items next weekend. |
dadah04:My brother-what I am saying now: I have said over 100 times on this thread. I can NEVER give an exact time for air cargo. Courier, USPS, yes I can. I just sent someone a package by USPS and he is 100% sure of picking on Tuesday-even earthquake cannot stop it. Where have I been absent from? Did you email and I did not reply? I reply dozens of emails everyday. Sometimes up to 100 emails. Point to 1 email you sent to me that I didnt reply and I will prostrate and apologise! Please dont rely on calls to reach me-of the over 200 customers we have dealt with on nairaland-less than 6 have ever called my phone. Technology has made email even better than a phone call these days. Emails come straight to the phone and depending on the time of day-the email is replied. |
@Completly I sent you a message. Your BBM is no longer available. Its about your boxes. You need to email me asap. |
papiforreal:Watch has been shipped. Arrival -maybe next weekend. Sorry-that batch with the i3 will be upper week. |
tradeplusib:Jimmy will verify all contents of cleared items by the weekend or latest Monday and I will get back to you. |
tradeplusib:Bros-welcome back? I am here. I didnt go anywhere. I have received and replied over 300 emails and messages since you last emailed. |
Someone emailed me wondering why I have not posted on the thread in several days. Every day for much of the last few weeks and the next few weeks-I have been working from a technology warehouse-sorting out and working on thousands of laptops and cell phones-from a business that closed down. It takes much of my daily time. We now have several hundred laptops and cellphones that will ship at the end of the month. I have not posted any new items on the website or thread as we are sorting out all delayed or missing items. All messages are been replied every day-except sometimes during the weekend. There is no email that is not replied. BBM messages are sometimes replied late. If you send a message to me-I always reply-even if late. Our work is still continuing. I have contacted our shippers and pick ups of all items that have been pending for the last 4 weeks will resume this weekend. The next picks ups will be either this Saturday December 13th Monday December 15th. Saturday December 20th and Saturday December 27th. Several external hard drives arrived since last week and Jimmy has been sending to the owners. Many more are still coming. We are picking up our first batch of sea shipping items next week. 2nd batch will be the following week. We appreciate everyones business. We expect to re-start selling laptops and phones in full by January when the new laptops arrive and all backlogs cleared. |
ANNOUNCEMENT To Fasrola, Mark, Busk01, Fahud and all others with items in the missing box: Chinos said the box was found and delivered to his Texas office yesterday-so it will be on its way to Nigeria early next week. |
Ogborokiri:What box of shoes? The blue ones? Have been in Lagos since August. |
papiforreal:Thanks. About to check. |
epoxide:Both of these items are on auction that will end on Sunday-so cant tell total cost for now. The HP for example is at $56 right now-but may go as high as $200 by the time it ends.

troy20:This one for example on ebay is brand new and comes with sim slot. Price is $139. Lands in Naija for N34,010. Im sure used can go for much less.
