Romance / Pls. Help! My Sister Now Fights With Me (What Should I Do?) by Lalastica1: 12:54pm On May 20, 2020
This is a girl i watched grow up and then, she gave me the greatest surprise of my life yesterday.

Initially, i have been hearing complaints about how stubborn she has been, sneaking out to follow boys, disobedience at home and many others but i chose to ignore those complaints.

Yesterday, she did something very bad and when i tried to scold her, she just burst into laughter as i was walking away making me look like a fool. I went back to her and ask if she was just laughing at me or what? is she assuming with me?

I landed her a slap and before i knew it, she responded by saying "I should never try to slap her again that she has been overlooking me else she will slap me back and that she has been respecting me all this while but it seems i don't want the respect anymore". What, i was shocked to the bones, " You will slap me back?", This statement provoked me and i gave her another slap and more surprisingly, she slapped me back. I never knew when i pounce on her until i realised she was a woman and a junior sister of mine and stopped.

But then, i have been thinking what could have warrant this girl of yesterday to start talking and slapping back at me? Mum came back and was telling me one stupid "I should have realised she is now a woman."

This morning, she didn't greet me and was forming attitude for me. I have been trying to avoid her because i know that with what i have been thinking, if i should handle her again, if she don't pass out, then she will definitely lose a very sensitive part of her body maybe leg and that will be trouble for me too.

That is why i decided to come to ask if this is normal or something, i don't want to carry out further actions on her cause my mind is not good now.

Politics / Nigeria Police Press Release On Sen. Misau Allegations On IGP by Lalastica1: 2:47pm On Oct 28, 2017
PRESS RELEASE
RE: “MISAU ACCUSES IGP OF BUYING 2 JEEPS FOR
BUHARI’S WIFE” AND “IGP IDRIS MANIPULATED HIS
RETIREMENT AGE, SAYS MISAU”

· Allegations Baseless and Absolutely Untrue and Outright
Falsehood

· The Two Reports should be discountenanced as
Misinforming and Misleading.

The attention of the Nigeria Police Force has been drawn to
publications in the Daily Trust Newspaper of 26th October,
2017, page 3 captioned “Misau Accuses IGP Of Buying 2
Jeeps For Buhari’s Wife” and “IGP Idris Manipulated His
Retirement Age, Says Misau” on Page 3 of The Nation of
October 26th 2017” credited to Senator Isa Hamma Misau
and written by Ismail Mudashir and Onyedi Ojiabor of Daily
Trust and Nation Newspapers respectively.
2. The two reports were studied and found out to be an
outright falsehood, misleading, unfounded, a deliberate
attempt to misinform the public and drag the name of the
Wife of the President and Commander in Chief of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria, Mrs Aishat Buhari and that of the
Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris NPM, mni
into a controversy.
3. It is pertinent to state that at no time did the Wife of the
President and Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic
of Nigeria, Mrs Aishat Buhari requested directly or indirectly
for vehicles for her use from the Inspector General of Police
and no vehicle whether Jeep or SUV has ever been given for
her personal use.
4. To set the record straight and disabuse the minds of the
public most especially those who must have read the story,
that the Inspector General of Police is empowered by the
1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as
amended and the Police Act and Regulations, precisely
Section 215 (1)(a&b) and (2) “The Nigeria Police Force shall
be under the command of the Inspector General Police“ and
the Deployment and Control of the entire Operations of the
Force including allocation of Police vehicles for operational
use throughout the country shall be under the purview of the
IGP.
5. It is within the powers of the Inspector General of Police
as stated above that when on the 17th January, 2017, SP
Sani M Baba –Inna, the ADC “Wife of the President” Federal
Republic of Nigeria requested for Two (2) vehicles for Police
Personnel in the convoy of Wife of the President for convoy
movement and security purposes. Two (2) Police Vehicles (i)
A Toyota Sienna Bus with Reg. No. NPF 2406D (ii) A Toyota
Hiace Bus with Reg. No. NPF 3363D were approved by the
Inspector General of Police to the ADC “Wife of the
President” SP Sani M Baba –Inna for the purposes
requested and not to the person of the Wife of the President
or for her personal use as alleged by Misau.
6. The Nigeria Police Force categorically wishes to state
that all the allegations made by Misau against the Inspector
General of Police and the Wife of the President, Federal
Republic of Nigeria of buying two (2) Jeeps for the Wife of
the Presidents as reported in some media are baseless,
untrue and done in bad faith to misinform and mislead the
Public. Members of the Public are hereby strongly enjoined
to discountenance and disregard the report in its entirety.
7. On IGP’s retirement age, Misau’s allegations were ill-
motive, for avoidance of doubt, the Nigeria Police Force
Headquarters, Force Secretary Office wrote the Chairman,
Police Service Commission on the 18th of January, 2017
drawing the attention of the Commission to the observation
on the current Staff List of Senior Police Officers whereby
the date of birth of the Inspector General of Police, IGP
Ibrahim K. Idris, NPM, mni was incorrectly stated as
3/01/1959 instead of the actual date 15/01/1959. All
documents and records of the Inspector General of Police,
IGP Ibrahim K. Idris, NPM, mni has 15/01/1959 as his date
of birth except the staff list Senior Police Officers and this is
the reason why the approval of the Honourable Chairman,
Police Service Commission for correction of the error was
sought in this regard.
8. The difference of dates between 3/01/1959 and
15/01/1959 is just Twelve (12) days which is very
insignificant in Thirty Five (35) years that a public servant
can be in service. Attached is letter Ref No. CH.7080/FS/
FHQ/ABJ/SUB.3/30 dated 18th January, 2017 written by
the Force Secretary to the Honourable Chairman Police
Service Commission on the subject matter for media ease
of reference.
9. Furthermore, the Public will note that Issa Hamma Misau
deliberately refused to prove the allegations he previously
levelled against the Inspector General of Police on the floor
of the Senate for which he was invited by the Senate Ad-hoc
Committee but instead brought up other falsehoods to
distract the Committee and the members of the Public.
10. The Nigeria Police Force is assuring the media of its
support and continued cooperation in ensuring a crime free
society and credible reportage. The print media are implored
not to allow the pages of their esteemed Newspapers to be
used to champion campaign of calumny capable of causing
disaffections between the Force and the Public or that can
cast aspersions on the hard earned integrity of the
leadership of the Force.
11. The Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris,
NPM, mni, will not be distracted or deterred by mischievous
and misguided individual(s) from carrying out his statutory
responsibilities for the benefit of the entire Police Personnel
and all Nigerians that we serve.

Webmasters / How To Be Successful Blogging by Lalastica1: 4:10pm On Oct 20, 2017
Blogging is one of the few things that have come to stay in
our World today, it is good seeing Nigerian youths becoming
part of this sphere that does not only encourage your
education, esteem but in most cases earn you some little
revenues you can hold on to but on the other way round, it
is rather unfortunate seeing 80% of those who dive in diving
out maybe because they have seen/experience the unusual
and can no longer keep on with it.

So what do you do in this case ?.

Some good and well-formulated tips about blogging such as
this I believe will do. So below are some of the things new
bloggers should look out for if the word ' Successful ' is in
sight for them.

1. Find/have a niche: A blog niche is any part of daily life
affairs you can write about very well eg science and
technology, arts, sports, lifestyle, health etc. Your ability to
find one is your first step towards a successful blogging
career as it will help your search engine ranking which will
ultimately bring visitors to your blog and as well enable your
blogging career stress-free. Do not jump as an individual
into multiple niche blogs eg news blog that may demand
you writing about current updates, sport, fashion, business,
entertainment, technology e.t.c. Doing such will only stress
you up and the quitting idea will be your next option. For
those who may have been following this domain ' Nijablog '
knows that it use to be a news site until I understood the
niche factor and now it's a tech blog and so far am enjoying the following:
*Numerous number of visitors and page views eg as a news
blog, some of my articles usually have 10 views all time
stats but now some of my articles as a tech blog receive
over 500 views few hours after publication with visitors
from numerous countries of the world.
*I now enjoy search engine ranking eg during my period of
blogging as a news blogger, Google didn't fetch me a single
click as shown by my stats as all my visitors were direct
visitors, those who click on my links through networks like
Facebook etc but as a tech blog, I was surprised and you
know what that means.
*Blogging is now stress free as in I can remember those
days as a news blogger when I have to ensure I update my
blog every minute for my readers, trying to know what is the
latest, rewriting it every minute wasn't easy but now as a
tech blogger inasmuch as I want my blog to be updated, I
don't stress my self rather I publish whatever article when
the inspiration comes.
So you see the importance of having a niche when blogging
asin the definition of blogging itself is writing an online
journal about what you know or can do best.

2. Let not money making be the motive: I love Google
AdSense for one word 'Earn while you write something
blabla', not write to earn. The moment you venture into
blogging with the motive of earning, then be ready to park
out soon.
Let the joy of having an online presence, audience and
getting your voice across be your motivation not earning.
When I venture into blogging with the motive of earning and
got turned down by AdSense for insufficient contents, I
almost Park out but later went for other Nigerian alternative
like AdQuet, Dochase etc. Got approved by all but no longer
even interested in displaying ads on my blog cause having
recognize that blogging is not about money making rather
the latter is just a substance of it that will naturally come at
a later day, I don't want anymore mistakes and misplaced
priorities.

3. Have original content: It is unfortunate that most
bloggers are the copy and paste type but the truth is that
this type of behavior will kill your self esteem as a blogger.
I remember my startup as a blogger copying and pasting
other people's content, it got to an extent and I started
asking myself 'why am I a blogger if this is what I do? ', and
I can remember when I asked for a blog review. One of the
readers openly told me 'my bro, no big deal about this your
blog as everything is copy and paste stuffs', how did he
know?, I started asking myself searching Google if there is
a technique used in identifying copied and pasted content
but to cut a long story short, as a news blogger then, I
deleted everything and started writing original content. Mehn
you need to see the proudness in me whenever I go through
my articles and even other sites started copying my content
but they were acknowledging me in this case.
So if you dream of success blogging, you must learn to
avoid this copy and paste stuff, have something true and
original to offer and this can be actualize mainly with a
niche blog.

Religion / Re: Alhaji Aliko Dangote: Does He Pay Tithes by Lalastica1: 11:33am On Sep 24, 2017
vaxx:
dangote to the best of my knowledge is a Muslim.... and base on Islamic teachings, he should offer zakkat out of his wealth..... most of the time during the month of Ramadan..... or any other times of comfort.....

it is not necessary done in Christian ways.... he may pay the zakat to his neighbour, beggars or the less privilege one and it is also allowed to pay the zakkat on behalf of his parent or wives....

in Islam one person can pay the zakkat of more than 10 person.............

I am not a Muslim plsss
The way the pastor put it,it seems like a Christian paying e.g you know it importance not zakkat as u said.
Religion / Alhaji Aliko Dangote: Does He Pay Tithes by Lalastica1: 11:07am On Sep 24, 2017
So I went to Church this morning and the preaching was somehow connected to tithing and the pastor said and I quote,
"Another way of enjoying and experiencing kingdom fruitfulness that believers don't know is tithing. Even unbelievers know that respecting God by bringing 10% of their income to God bring fruitfulness and Even believers who are the sons and daughters of God who are suppose to know this secret and enjoy it don't want to obey it.Take for instance,Dangote that all of us know and is the richest man in Africa,An unbeliever pays tithe,Do you know that? though I won't mention the Church but he pays."
So my question is nairalanders,is it possible that Dangote pays tithe and if he do pay tithe, that means he believe in the movement somehow ryt?.

Politics / Southeast Politicians Are Only Interested In Pocketing Resources-NGF by Lalastica1: 3:51pm On Sep 20, 2017
The Northern governors forum as led by Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state in the course of their current visit to the southeast of the country to broker peace between various region have said that marginalisation is not the problem of the southeast rather it politicians are only interested in pocketing the resources in the region.NijaBlog reports.

The Governors, who were speaking during a meeting with leaders of Igbo communities in IMO said that the southeast have once produced individuals to chair the office of senate president, secretary general of the federation but those leaders were only notable for their dubious act of self-interest.

The governors which include Bagudu abubakar atiku of kebbi,Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto,Kashim Shettima of Borno,Bello Masari of Katsina and Simon Lalong use the case of Nnamdi Kanu as an example in which when arrested, politicians from the southeast were visiting and clamouring for his release just for political benefits.
''Politicians from the zone are only
interested in pocketing the resources that would have
been used in developing the zone at the detriment of the
people.
You can take for instance the case of Nnamdi Kanu
who is an ordinary criminal. When he was arrested,
senators from the Southeast were falling head over
heels to bail him for what they could gain at the
detriment of national unity and peaceful coexistence.
The problem of Nigeria is we the elite who are fanning
the embers of hatred and disunity for selfish reasons.
The country is passing through a grim and sober
moment and by working together, we can get Nigeria to
work again.
We are here to thank our colleagues in the southeast
for standing on the part of peace and national unity. All
we need is tolerance, justice and generosity of mind to
move the country forward.
Governor Okorocha has been dehumanised and branded
all sorts of names for insisting on one indivisible
Nigeria but he has remained unshaken in his faith in the
unity of the country''.The Governors said.

Remember that NijaBlog have earlier reported that Gov. Shettima of Borno state urges igbos to visit top cities of the north.
According to him, this was to assure them of security of lives and properties.
