I don’t believe that prayer can cause a blind person to regain his sight. What seems to happen in crusades is that people who are partially blind are introduced as if they were totally blind and then people are amazed when they can see things that they could actually see before prayer. People who have bad legs but can still struggle to walk are placed on wheelchairs and people are amazed when they get up from the wheelchairs and force themselves to walk briefly after prayer.
