tayeby78: Hi,
Have your documents been returned to your wife yet? We haven't received ours back. Yet to be returned. She went to the post office yesterday when the tracking code was giving error. Later she called Sheffield and they said there is no problem, that it takes up to ten working days to send it after pick up of passport. Seems the docs are reviewed by more than one case workers. |

YourFatherLap: medview run international flights? Medview run international but always bite more than they can chew. It's relatively cheap but in flight services is not it at all. Flight delays and time change is common. It's a direct flight. The planes are old and not a smooth one. |

MreSBee: Wow.... Congratulations mate..... Your case is absolutely really different lol. God really did it for you.... Once financial requirement is not met, even if all the other requirements are over met lol... Chances of getting the visa are slim. But God did it for you. Halleluyah.
How did you package your own account to come across the said amount that you added to your wife's. Please be honest others like me may consider your method. One again congratulations and make sure you go with your parkas, winter jackets and trench coats lol... I hear the weather has turned back to freezer lol.
Regards to your wife... She must be very very happy right now Thanks, well I asked if I can add my acct then on the forum but someone said it doesn't add up so I went ahead to download the FM appendix August 2017 and discover that I can actually use my acct. So we checked my wife's P60 and noticed her last one summed to 18,420 thereabouts, meanwhile if u are adding funds it must be in an acct with names of either one or joint names of the couple. It must show proof of how you got it and must be in the acct for like six months as at when applying. So I used two of my accounts that summed £15900 pounds which is not up to the stipulated £16000 they required. Then we went ahead to explain difficulty of moving our son who's 8yrs old to Nigeria stating it will be too much for him. Reading the attached letter, they said I meet the financial requirement according to FM appendix 3.2. |

GodandVal: Congrats!!!! I feel like it is me that has gotten my spousal visa
What mistake did you make on your application? Mine was the sub category choosing settlement marriage instead of settlement wife but I wrote a letter and explained and sent to Sheffield directly.... who did you send your letter to? I actually did the settlement - Marriage mistake and learnt on d forum it's the wrong one. I abandoned it and start a fresh one. Other mistake is that I was refused for my first visa to UK in 2010 and I said no that I have never been refused. So I wrote a letter stating the error and scanned one to my wife to include in the docs to Sheffield and also took one to tls on biometric day. It's well. |

Lexusgs430: That soap wey u use wash your head, you suppose patent am....... @Lexusgs430, na real soap. I just noticed they used exceptional circumstances for me. Reading the letter to immigration, it's the 10 year route because of financial requirements. All those talks that our son will experience culture shock if we move to Nigeria while the mum isn't Nigerian. All in all, na God ooo |

Thanks to all contributors. All waiting, God has done it already. As for the tithes @Lexusgs430, when I reach we will discuss further! |

readynow: good afternoon all please while filling the VISA4UK form came across this question
is this your first passport?
please see the screenshot
I got my first passport 12 years ago 2003 expires 2008 but did not use it. so should i state this or what do they mean here Just be honest with it. Say No and put the particulars of the old if asked. When they ask where is the passport, choose other. As it's not lost but cancelled with no prejudice because that's what immigration in Nigeria put there. That's what I filled in mine. |

Wifey did not meet up with financial requirements and I didn't really know despite knowing that she had to cut down her hours so as to have more time for our son. So I just packaged my accts to send totalling £15900 as added funds from me. God is faithful, sending my timeline soon. |

deebaby05: Am just trying to imagine how u r feeling based on how am feeling but don't worry, you r coming back to give us goodnews. Honestly, I was with stop and search police checking my vehicle particulars in the morning when I got the first mail. So I checked TLS and saw that it's decision reached. While dragging with them going to their office and waiting for a subordinate to bring my office id, I received the pick up mail like three hours later. In my meeting thereafter, lots of thoughts was just crossing my mind. It's well, thanks. |

tayeby78: Hi,
As long as she's been in the job for 6 months and has pay slips and bank statements to reflect these i don't think it matters if it's probabationary period or not.
2. You won't be allowed to use priority service if you've been refused a visa in that category before. I tried using priority for my husbands application after first refusal but it just wouldn't go through. Check out the exclusion criterias for the priority service to know more.
Day 55 today after biometrics :-( On the Business days calculator, 17th August to 3rd November is 56days. |

Lexusgs430: What's the entry period for the program? Have you factored in loan repayments, into her current wage (considering other expenses)? Have you considered the fact, that the student visa application might be declined?
I hear interest rate has gone up today, so borrowing would now be slightly more expensive........ Interest rate is now 0.5% from 0.25%. |

tayeby78: I don't think there's any contacts for them o. They've not updated the progress of my husband's application since the online submission 51 days ago and apparently you just can't visit the site for queries. Please do let me know if you find contact details for them. You can actually lay complaints on the site. There's a column for complaints and your e-mail. They actually replied after I have sorted it out. They mentioned that they noticed I have figured it out myself and close the complaint. |
