Please Innit2022, stop approbating and reprobating, no one is forcing anyone to drop their timelines, but you see people get PPR, drop the news, claim they will drop timeline later and come to ask other questions without dropping their timelines. If every one does the bolded like you have advised, the thread will be a dead thread, cos all of us will come take and not give and when we are taking and taking then there will be nothing left. In fact, what does it take to drop a timeline, even if it is the basic details just drop drop drop.

Lol, please no fights in this forum ooooo, lol...

I advised you come back to your home country and apply since you don't have permanent resident in your present country of residence. I think, this will give you enough home tie.

He / She is about getting permanent residency in 2 months oooo...

Anyways @ Arlanda I think you should take Mrprolifik's advice, his a guru here.

Arlanda:

I have tried to explore this root before. Even with my masters, age is not on my side. I am 37.

That was why I asked why not go for direct PR or PNP? Mind you age isn't a barrier mayb u should tackle that.

But you staying in another country as TR is one of the reasons u were refused. Please wait 2 months and collect your PR for Europe oo then make a decision on your Canada waka.

I wish you all the best.

Contact MrProlifik directly or makano or frankrobben.

Thanks for your reply.

What exactly is GCMS notes and how do I order for it.

I am currently on work permit. I studied masters here 5 years ago and since then, I have been on work permit.

I will be applying for a permanent residence 2 months from now and my current permit expires by December.

Where I disagreed with them is my financial status. I have paid 50 percent of my tuition and I have up to 25million naira in my European bank account. I also received money monthly in salary.

My current job might not aligned with my academic profession. I am an accountant
and my current role differ. But I don't think this should be the ground for refusal. That I am not financially stable.

I disagreed with them on this.

With your status, why not go for PNP or direct PR?

Its PPR guys. Long Post alert

I have been a silent reader of Nairaland since the beginning of this year and everything that led to this point (obtaining our PPR), Nairaland contributed to it.
We started this journey in 2021. I started off with some countries which eventually did not work out. My husband had applied to a couple of schools and we either received rejections or no responses at all. Fast forward to January, my sister was leaving for Canada at the time and came visiting so I requested that she helped apply to a school. We followed up and received admission to Centennial College for a Postgraduate Certificate program in Cybersecurity. It is also worthy to note that we applied to several schools in the UK, I think about 6 or 7 of them and got admission to all.
Amidst all these, my husband insisted on Canada.
We applied for my husband's Study visa, my Spousal Open Work Permit and a Visiting Visa for my 19 months daughter on the 1st of April, 2022. This happened when everywhere I turned to for assistance on how to proceed with these applications kept giving warning signs for my husband to apply alone. My husband insisted that we all apply together and back it up with prayers and I agreed.
We gathered all our documents and applied with faith and the wait started. Sometimes, I would wake up in the middle of the night and say my prayers sometimes with tears. Sometimes, I and my husband would find it difficult to sleep at night. I would disturb my sister from time to time even during her busy schedule just to find out if there was anything to do to hasten the process. I am not a very patient person but my husband who has more patience among the both of us started to worry too on the 1st of June. We kept praying and hoping that God comes through.
I felt our application could be better but believed God will use the documents we had submitted to speak for us. We noticed that his passport was due to expire in October and then we decided to apply for that as quickly as possible.
On the 5th of June, my husband came back home worried which increased my worry as well but we kept telling each other that our application was more complex so it may take them a while to get to it.
On the 7th of June at around 7:30am, my husband called my attention and, in his words, "it is already happening o"
I ran to his phone and saw 3 emails with "do not reply", my heart skipped several beats and I remember saying to him, if we were rejected, we fire again.
I went straight for the laptop but was not fast enough as I kept shaking. My husband grabbed it and signed in.
At this point, I hissed and said aloud "Eligibility just started and its a ghost update", then he said hold on let me scroll down and there it was Original Passport Request. I screamed my lungs out.
Our timeline:
GCKey 1st time applicant
Application: 1st of April, 2022
Upfront medicals: 26t of March and updated to pass on the 21st of April, 2022
Biometrics: 14th of April, 2022
PPR for Study, SOWP, and VV on the 8th of June.

I would say it has been God and I am putting this out there to encourage people most especially families who are too afraid to apply together. Do it, research, make your application as tight as possible, and back it up with prayers. I reached out to only one person on this thread who happened to be going to the same school as my husband, @centennialguy, thank you for your help, I appreciate it.
I wish everyone the best and to all PPR hopefuls, your time is now.

It will end in praise

Congratulations, so happy for you..
hope for us who want to apply with our families...please post the documents submitted.

Hello Nairalanders! please I need your help. I got my visa in October last year and immediately applied for my kids. Since then, no response. I traveled ahead and left my kids behind because school was resuming in April but it was the hardest period of my life.
I spoke with my program coordinators and they allowed me come back home since my courses were virtual.

This is my dilemma: After doing the Canadian life for a few weeks I’ve seen how difficult it’ll be for me to combine school and 2 toddlers (2&4 year olds) without my husband (he’s staying back) and I think I should wait for both of them to be of school age first. Even if I want to come with them, I’ll have to reapply and with all these IRCC long waiting times, the visa may not come in time for me to go with them in September. If I abandon this study visa (it expires in Feb 2023), will I have issues getting a new one when I’m ready (maybe in 2 years)? What would you guys honestly advice?

Women travelling with their kids for study without the husband. How have you all been coping? Hmmm!

Its PPR guys! God is indeed faithful.

Family application. Study visa for kids and SOWP for spouse. I used the GCkey Portal.

Here is my timeline:

Submission: May 4, 2022
Upfront Medical for all: May 10, 2022
Biometric done and Updated: May 13, 2022
Medical Passed for all: May 19, 2022
Eligibility Review: June 9, 2022
BVL/PPR: June 9, 2022

This is to encourage those who want to go for family application that it is doable. Details of documents submitted will be posted soon. I got worried at some point because I did not include Police Clearance Certificate. But we got the approval without it.

I gathered all the information I used for my application from this platform. God bless you guys! The commitment to the success of others on this platform is amazing.

Congratulations

Advisable visit the bank and branch you chose and beg them to quiclky review and approve the request. Ask for the operations manager. Or wait. The bank will review and approve or reject if the documents aren't complete.
After that na to wait till bank get FX to process. I hope u choose low-key banks like jaiz, fidelity, and the likes.
Access is 6-8weeks, uba no fx for now, gtb worse

Dear NL Family,

I am planning to submit my application this Friday and I am seriously scared, worried and nervous. I can't even give explanation as to why I'm having this feeling.

I'm planning to go for a year course and tuition is 18,000 Cad out of which 10,000 Cad has been paid.

I have close to 20M in my account and a fixed deposit of 15M that will be matured before my school resumption date.

I am gainfully employed and also have a registered business with CAC. I'm self sponsor and my course of study here in Nigeria is related to my 17 years work experience and what I'm going to study in Canada.
I have 2 properties here in Lagos.

Planning to travel with my kids, no one to leave them with.

I have 4 siblings all here in Nigeria at the moment with an aged mom.

What are my chances of getting PPR?

Is this feeling of my okay?

I'm wondering how I'm going to cope after submitting if I'm already feeling this way now that I'm yet to submit. Hmmm, na wa o

I wish everyone expecting PPR goodnews

Pls how can I get this off my mind? I'm withdrawing from people and all I think about now is IRCC

Hi

My proposed school has a 2 year App dev program (1 year study and 1 solid year of Co Op Canadian work experience program (40 hours weekly permit with good wages)).

Now, the issue is the school doesn't give PGWP. The tuition fee is very affordable too. I have searched and searched and it's the best i have found.

I really want to JAPA for good. What's your advice?

Abort mission and find school that will give you PGWP.

It's always a pleasure to be here, today I will be passing some informations based on my personal 3 weeks experience.
number 1 is money. it is very important that you have enough money to at least cover 1 year tuition or at least 2 terms NB there are three terms in a year. reason being that your student work permit is very limiting, for ppl with scholarships and funding this does not apply to them things are very expensive here compared to back home and the taxes are a thing about another day.
lets do the math $13/hr, 20 hrs a week, 4 weeks in a month = $1040 excluding tips and taxes house rent for a room lowest I think is an average of $500/month. rent go as high as $1200 for a reasonable studio so you can see something in between. unless you are going to break the IRCC 20hr/week rule, you can not make enough money for tuition. ( N.B this calculations is dependent on your province)
Having someone in a province/city you are planning to start your studies will give you a much needed soft landing. so start making those contacts now as soon as you are sure you are moving. N/B please do not pay for accommodation online use Airbnb then when you arrive you make sure to physically inspect your new place before moving in.
Again this is about money, make adequate plans so that you have at least 2 months without earning trust me this will help you settle in faster.
house hunting here can be a little tricky, imagine moving to Lagos or abuja for the first time, how long do you think it will take you to find a decent place to stay. lol Canada is no different so try arriving early before classes, (2weeks at least).
most apt go for 1 year lease so it's a bit tricky breaking that lease when you finally find out you don't like it. all in all I like it here definitely better than Nigeria but I think agents and what nots go about painting this fairy tale picture about Canada.
Please bring your medications, especially anti malaria, make sure it has a long expiration date, to see DR here is tricky and getting meds from a pharmacy you require prescription.
As for food situation when you come you go see lol
I wish you all luck in your application and may God grant you PPR.

Sooo valid, omo by God's grace I wan pay for 1 full year tuition before I comot naijaa. Make person dey hustle 2nd year. .

Hello great people, thanks for all the good work you are doing here.

I got application to Study Cyber Security at OCMT (Ontario College of Management & Technology). It's a private college in Ontario.

My concern is that though they are a DLI, they do not offer PGWP after studies. Though they are promising a job after 6 months internship but I am still a bit sceptical.

I also applied to Seneca but yet to get a respons.

Thank you in anticipation

Thank you for the response. I guess it doesn't apply to an enterprise right? I registered my business myself, it's an enterprise. I only got the certificate, so I was confused when I heard of Memorandum and Articles of Association on this thread.

Enterprise only has Form of Application of business name which has your details as the director . You don't need Memart for Enterprise. Its only for LTD.

Please what are the Memorandum and Articles of Association and how do I get them?

It is part of documents issued by CAC to Limited Liabilities company (LTD) it shows the details of the company, what they do and rights to borrow and the likes also list the name of shareholders and directors. Now what do u need it for as it has diff meanings depending but mostly part of documents CAC issues for LTD companies..
