tanimola22: I am not aware of any certification that would be sufficient to facilitate your proposed move to the finance department of a blue chip company, although I believe that some certifications may help. ICAN readily comes to mind in this regard. People with ICAN are many in the finance departments of top companies. Ask any HR person you know. ICAN is not bad. In fact, besides capital markets analysis and perhaps some intricacies involved in corporate finance and underwriting, a good ICAN holder can function well in the finance departments of many non investment/finance type firms. A good substitute for ICAN, as you know, is ACCA.

For online certifications, excluding online MBAs, MScs and co, I am not aware of anyone that used them as an edge to land a great job in Naija.

Man_51ut: state allawee and ppa money are the same thing basically. they'll prolly post most of you guys to schools like they did batch us batch As. it will now depend on whether the school/district will have money to pay you. hint: they won't. try and get posted to a private school sha. if you work in the local govts or some ministries, there is a chance you'll get paid. apparently they promised to pay my gf who is serving in ministry of justice.
