germany006:holes in your story. if you truly got VISA to Germany you must have presented documents, so you know what documents are needed for tourist iVISA and you will also be able to find document needed to see the german girl. |
@Jakumo Next time, please have your cash ready for IMMEDIATE presentation AS SOON AS the key words " How for weekend ?" are formally invoked by the arresting officer, if you do not want to be mis-identified as a Grammar Man, and silenced with a Big Bang accordingly.that's secret of long life in Nigeria if you are not a BIG MAN: settle Police and Area Boys. what is there to probe? we should take to the streets and protest.well said FBS. Nobody is going to free Nigeria but Nigerians. Sadly, there is no HOPE for Nigeria or the HOPE will take another 200yrs. All around us we see people demandinf change: thailand, Ghana, Greece, Ukraine Seems AFRICANS are too timid to ask for better life but ready to RUN abroad to enjoy better life. |
sadly not sure if any boat cruise available in west africa. Good boat cruises available in carribean, EU-NY, north sea, and mediterranean. good luck. |
As for the invasion. Actually, the vast majority of Iraqis saw it not as an invasion, but as a liberation. But as they have historically done in the past when liberated from despotism (1920 springs to mind) they turn around and bite the hand that feeds them. It's akin to pulling someone out of quicksand and having them turn around and punch you in the face when you have freed them. Then they will go and punch everyone else in the face and blame you for having pulled them out. If they say it enough, even your friends will get tired and agree that it's your fault.read again what your wrote! |
This is everyday event in Nigeria. It almost happened to me in 1994. Police arrested us in Ikorodu for driving brand new car but it was broad-day and many people were there, they could not just shoot. Later, they told us, we were lucky; they would have killed us and say we are armed robbers if it was not inside the city they saw us. And they would get some prisoner who needs freedom to confirm that we robber together with them. We had to pay with N10K for our lives. Please, dont play with Nigerian Police. Give them want they want EGO and RUN like hell. It is HELL of a country! |
well done to this brave fellow. The man died in him who refuse to take any action. He has thrown his shoes to show and express his displeasure while the other journalist hopes from crumbs from America. Fact: more people have died since Bush took over Iraqi than in Saddam era. Backhome: OBJ wiped-out the entire ODI village and yet UN appoints him to bring peace to Congo. |
this guy is bad news, does he think EU asylum is just for unserious people?? I am glad he is not allow to abuse asylum for REAL people that needs it. added, he should have gone to UK with enough MONEY, the brits just love our money. ![]() |

Sahara has shown to be more reliable and up-to-date with Nigerian Political News. It appears well connected. They report news while other newpaper, agencies are sleeping. Good work to Omoyele. |

The Hotel operates on Generator Power, which operates twice daily at the following times:what happens to the cable car if you inside at 9.59? They leave you hanging in the air? On it only operates on demand: that would make sense. |
@tpia, Good web page. But for within Nigeria, OBUDU too expensive. It will soon run down, see how empty it looks. I could get a Caribbean destination for that amount with breakfast and dinner. Nigeria should make money by improving productivity and not 'fake' high prices and you get no quality. Did anyone check out the comment by a visitor about some Yankee naija guy who proposed on bended knee, and was criticized by an older couple who said a man should never kneel down for a woman, and it was uncultural? roflmao!Well, thats what you get when two culture mixes and you stay too long away. We are not them and they are not us. |
CALL it a black day in Ibadan yesterday. The Oyo State Capital was held hostage by armed robbers for some hours as they went raiding banks and shooting sporadically into the air in their bid to escape. In the end, five deaths were counted and 20 persons hospitalised. The robbers, numbering about 13, had stormed the Iwo Road branch of two new generation banks in a bus and dislodged the security men on duty. While eight of the gang went inside the banks, five others stayed outside to ward off attack by law enforcement agents. The bandits, it was learnt, robbed successfully at the first one where they made away with undisclosed amount of money while efforts to break the vault at the other bank proved abortive. They were said to have made away with all the cash on the counter as well as those belonging to customers. Some policemen at the nearby Idi-Ape police station, had on getting wind of the robbery incident, mounted a roadblock at the Iwo Road-gate interchange to prevent the robbers from escaping. The robbers opened fire on the officers on getting to the scene and with superior fire power, killed three of the policemen while others beat a retreat. Another policeman at Oju-irin-Bodija Road was also gunned down by the rampaging robbers who in their desperate bid to escape shot sporadically into the air around the city. In the cross-fire with policemen, one of the robbers was killed while another was arrested with charms, amulets and two AK magazines. The Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Abayomi Adeniji, confirmed that four of their men were killed in the cross-fire. Adeniji, who stated that policemen are still on the trail of the robbers, said the command has closed all the entrants to Ibadan while thorough checking of vehicles moving in and outside the city was going on. Similarly, the UCH Public Relations Officer, Kunle Atinwore, said six corpses were brought into the hospital while more than 20 casualties are being treated for injuries sustained from stray bullets. A worried Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala immediately proceeded to the Eleyele headquarters of the command to meet with the Police Commissioner, Bashiru Azeez. Alao-Akala later declared that his administration will not fold its arms on the matter. He described the situation as unfortunate while allaying the fear of residents that they should go about their normal business as he promised to beef up security across the state. He commiserated with the police and the families of the late policemen. Meanwhile, a three-man armed bandit that robbed no fewer than 30 vehicles, including the delivery van of The Nation Newspapers along the Ijebu-Ode-Ore Expressway in the early hours of yesterday, has been arrested by the police. The robbers were arrested at a police checkpoint near the scene of operation as the police had been alerted by some victims who had been attacked by the robbers. The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Adeniran Aremu, who confirmed the arrest, said the bandits were apprehended by the police in Ore and were in police custody in the town. Also, following the rising cases of armed robbery in Borno and the neighbouring Yobe, Adamawa and Bauchi states, some traders in the state have concluded arrangements with the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) to travel by train during the Christmas and New Year celebrations. The Maiduguri Principal Traffic and Commercial Officer (PTCO), Alhaji Bashir Abubakar, disclosed this in an interactive session with journalists at Maiduguri railway sub-station. The "Special Christmas train" would depart Maiduguri, the Borno State capital to Port Harcourt on December 18 and return to the state next year January 8. |
Ribadu deserves what he gets. If he was really anti-corruption guy: OBJ and Iyabo should be in Prison now. Instead of reforming the system, he actually ruin it with his style. He never established any code of conduct in his dealings, so they will give him none too. Even criminals on death row are treated as human but he did not treat his victims as such. It is pay back for him. We are a nation in ruin. |
ziddy:You should be asking OBJ what pact he had with them. N40bill satellite dead $8.1bill railway to no where. If they have build 'primary schools' this would done something for our education. |
In the name of religion, Olusegun Obasanjo, a man who governed for eight years but failed the nation in many ways, told journalists in July this year that Nigerians should seek God's intervention to solve the nation's electricity problems. Asked about his opinion on how Nigeria could get out of the gridlock in the electricity sector, Obasanjo said: "Anything you don't have or you cannot get, then leave it to God."By Levi Obijiofor |

Ribadu should submit to ARREST ASAP. why is he suddenly afraid? what secret is he runing from? Nigeria is greater than any one. He should submit himself for ARREST and follow the full laid down RULES of LAW. How time changes. ![]() |
"Lagos is a megacity with 15 million people, half of them at two meters (6 ft) above sea level, and that puts them at risk as hardly any other big city in the world," Stefan Cramer, Nigeria director of Germany's Heinrich Boll Foundation think-tank and an adviser to the Nigerian government on climate change, was quoted by Reuters to have explained. You are WARNED but like in Noah's Arc many did not listen! Hoshea 4.6:My people perish for lack of knowledge" |
The suspect, a native of Ondo state, also disclosed how she made passionate appeal to the boy to pay for the orange without success, before she was provoked to the point of holding his shirt. She explained that it was when the boy wanted to hit her with his head that she stabbed him in the chest with the knife she was holding in her hand.more like self-defence. but you never know |
snazzy82:world which did not obey any known LAWS: economic, political, etc: Oil prices goes down but at the pump, price remain same. Satellite dead and N40bill gone and you go ahead with another right away. The only highway that connects the nation is actually 'highway to hell' Spent $16bill to buy DARKNESS. --you can add more to it. |
yep, thats perfectly in order. Nigeria should get Federation Attorney-General to submit evidence to UK. It is very simple and we should stop behaving like 4th WORLD. |

Mamajama, I am happy for you and your OPEKEs. Did you reserve some for you uncle; Mr Tafa? Anyway, you cant tell IBB story without OBJ. IBB simply learn from his OGA, OBJ When Danjuma got to the office and heard the radio broadcast, he held a brief "war council" with Colonels Bali and Babangida, then moved to Bonny camp to coordinate the resistance. Babangida was sent on a motor cycle to Ikeja Cantonment to get armoured vehicles. |
