I am still saying it that u Ipobs are all fools including the ediots on Nairaland. Thunder will continue to fire all of u. Carry that ur Ipob nonsense and come to Anambra first and see if Jubril el sudani’s soldiers don’t chop off una ears as they did to late ikonso. Ediot Y’all have shown a good number of igbos that they will be better off in Nigeria than the ‘paradise Biafra’ u fools are selling to d gullibles.
abeeee: You people talk too much Achieve something first Ordinary no election that day wey una talk Shi shi nor happen
Anambra pple were waiting for the fools. They all went into hiding same way they went into hiding the day Jubril el sudani visited Ipob headquarters.
See the way the ediots have turned Imo state to another Sambisa, same way dey wanted to turn Anambra to. But Anambra pple are wiser than them. They will all kip dying like fowls if they fail to be using their senses. They think everything is gragragra and nonsense chest talk. They should go and ask MNK and late Ikonso how far?
esnbrutality: [s]UNA NEVER SEE ANYTHING....THE MISCREANTS CELEBRATE "NNAMDI KANU'S" INCARCERATION...BUT UNKNOWN TO THEM IPOB IS BIGGER THAN EVEN NNAMDI KANU...
BIAFRA IS A MUST AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU "AFONJA MISCREANTS FROM KOGI STATE TO LAGOS" CAN INFLUENCE CONCERNING THE REALITY OF A BIAFRA NATION.
AS FOR THE FULANI MISCREANTS IN THE BMC CREW, THE NEW BIAFRA AWARENESS IS BEYOND YOUR FOOLISHNESS. YOU HAVE MET YOUR SUPERIOR IN THIS REGARD. BIAFRA IS ALREADY CONFIRMED.
NA DIE UNA DEY....[/s]
Pls shutt up with this noise. A good number of our igbos are not interested in ur proposed nonsense Biafra. Just small power dey gave to MNK and co,they’ve all turned the region to a dungeon. Our pple are passing through hell currently because of the illiterate and touting route your fellow Ipob decided to take. Pls just shut up ur dirty mouth biko. Like the Biafra will be any better than Nigeria. The blood of our brothers and sisters who died within the period of yall foolishness will continue to haunt u pple. Ediot
Lol Ogidi pple are not smiling. When will this be replicated in Awka? Awka has slowly become a hot bed for criminals and cultists. Now our kids are used to gunshot noise, seeing dead bodies lying in a pool of their own blood on our roads. This should never be a norm.
Parents need to do better, give birth to kids they are capable of taking care of. Jobless and rugged looking Boys shouldn’t be roaming our streets when they are supposed to be at work or in school. I really don’t like lawlessness.
On my way to a function in Onitsha today, underaged boys (another set of touts) were seen peeping like vultures into tricycles on transit. Peeping to see how to tax passengers carrying luggage.
abuzz33: Soludo: Industrialist wants revenue touts off Anambra roads By Chinonso Ihekire 20 November 2021 | 3:04 am
[FILES] Soludo
As the good people of Anambra State continue to bask in the euphoria of the just concluded governorship election won by former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Chairman/CEO of MACDON Group of Companies, Chief Mike Emerah, has called on the governor-elect to get ready to bring his expertise to bear on revenue services in the state and by so doing flush out touts and those milking the treasury.
Speaking on his expectations from the governor-elect, Emerah decried the method of revenue collection in the state, observing that the way touts parade tickets and demand for payments from motorists, traders and wheelbarrow pushers at the markets, motor parks and bus stops was very crude and unacceptable.
He wondered why the job of revenue collection should be left in the hands of touts, noting that the involvement of touts in revenue services amounts to corruption and economic sabotage.
He blamed the menace of touting on the agents contracted by the state Ministries of Transport and Trade and Commerce, noting that the Commissioners for the two ministries shouldn’t allow agents to engage touts as revenue collectors.
“Soludo has to stop the crude way of revenue collection in Anambra State and ensure adequate supervision of the activities of Ministries of Transport and Trade and Commerce to prevent corruption and economic sabotage. He has to ensure that the revenue of the state is safe, secure and used for the purpose of executing development projects on education, health care services and roads, among others,” he said.
He stressed that touting was not supposed to be seen in Anambra State, which prides itself as the Light of the Nation, in this digital age.
Emerah also drew the attention of the governor-elect to the plight of investors and industrialists in the state, noting that he has to create a conducive environment for them to enable them to sustain, expand and create more jobs for residents.
“The clamour to attract investors into the state is a welcome development, but attention has to be given to us that is existing so that we can expand and churn out more jobs. We need government’s support for sustenance and expansion,” he added.
BKayy: I must commend this your comment. This is the first thing that needs to be addressed in our state. If there must be physical means of collecting direct tax from people and motorists then it must be in a civilised way.
One can't empower fools and hope for no destruction. The use of touts for any purpose by the government should be abolished. It is already a stain in our history as a state that we should terminate and use to reflect as part of the mistakes we made.
Most of our people criticise toll gates but have not presented solutions to the use of touts to collect what the Government see as tax from the motorists.
I believe what happened in the last few months should have taught us a lesson. The main contributor to crime in Anambra is the existence of Government sponsored touts At day, they are government informal workers but can any of us tell what they do at night? Or what the peers they keep with them do?
The main thing needed for a place that wants economic improvement and development is ease of doing business, (something I don't think is achievable if we keep harbouring touts as Government workers), then followed by long term projects. That is projects envisioned for a long term purpose.
Honestly I am not happy with this reoccurring issue. This is what the northerners use to insult and rubbish our tribe...making us a laughing stock.
You pple are here talking about tax. Most Anambraians don’t take govt tax serious because of this rubbish carried out by touts. Like I used to say Anambraians are peace loving and law abiding pple if only the govt will organize themselves. Anambraians are ready to pay taxes if the govt can set up a central account for it and not using touts who are harassing our pple everyday.
Why are touts of Onitsha disturbing and harassing Anambra sons and daughters on their father land? Why all these illegal collections and the govt is so quiet. Why are our pple always complaining on social media about these touts? Who are these touts? And who in devil’s name is backing them to continue to harass our pple? Why must Onitsha always be in the news for the wrong reasons because of these touts? This shit can never happen in the North.
imaxdocuments: Obi1kenobi whose real name and phone is (Obiorah Olisah 0803 346 3477) is well known for his mental disorder. Stop giving him attention because you have made salient points, just allow me to handle his matter.
This Imaxdocuments ehnn. U seem to have everyone’s phone numbers and know them personally. U be character o
Weeks after the election,Anambraians are still gushing and thanking God about the success. This goes to show that Anambra pple are peace loving pple. We don’t like problem. We just want a conducive environment to do our business, relass and take care of ourselves..Ö gu cha!
Furious1: We're not Jews Biko, I don't know who's pushing this kinda narrative. Igbo bu Igbo, we are what we are, we are not jews
Lmao What an out right rejection. The so called Jews don’t even know what Nigeria looks like not to talk of igbos. Pls let’s embrace our identity with pride and stop this attaché by force. If the Jews were from a country like Iraq or Afghanistan nobody for dey talk about igbos being related to Jews. Abeg make una rest. This is not a Jewish thread.
Woe betide miscreants and touts of the criminal group inflicting pains on our pple. Sit at home has not solved anything rather it has made life more difficult for poor igbos living in the East.,it has increased crime rate in igboland. Use your tongue to count your teeth.
Nice video but learn to go straight to the point...you were beginning to beat around the bush at the opening.
Interesting and well detailed five point agenda for the administration. But that water scheme agenda is it really possible in this our time? Especially when a good amount of houses now have access to borehole. Well done
TarOrfeeek: [s]100% of the people who belong to IPOB are Biafrans.
100% of the people killed by the FG of Nigeria for being Igbo are actually Igbo.
100% of those denied employment opportunities in lucrative FG ministries are Igbo.
100% of those unlawfully denied admission onto Unity schools based on unfair cut off marks are Igbo.
100% of those targeted economically, socially and commercially by the FG of Nigeria are Igbo.
You can try to divide in your small minds the Igbo struggle. But the mere fact that you cannot do right by the Igbos, you cannot even afford them a decent chance of survival. You cannot even pretend to like them, or allow them thrive.
It shows you are the enemy. The only enemy[/s]
Shut up pls. IPoB is few demonic jobless touting illiterates from majorly Abia state and Imo state. Anambra has no time for foolish noise.,we are peaceful and loving pple that loves to mind her businesses in Onitsha,Nnewi,China,Japan,US etc
We have no time for foolish idiots masking as freedom fighters. And that’s why we held our elections in peace daring you trouble makers. Anambra is not interested in your IPOB criminal doings. We Anambra pple hold our politicians,we tell them our mind,we flush them out when they start misbehaving and that was why we were the centre of attention two weeks ago.
Ipob and their cult of illiterate followers gave rise to the current insecurity in the East. They started through their radio Biafra by inciting violence on security personnel. If u tune to their radio Biafra, the language there is all about hatred..hatred which can lead to violence. Due to killings of security officers our usual motorable roads have been blocked for safety sake. Transport fares on the increase due to the state of the roads. MNK and his goons must be held responsible for every chaos in the east. His home state is currently in ruins and filth but he’s never called out the politicians of Abia state. Abia state is currently the most dirtiest and backward state today in Nigeria.
nisah: What baffles me atimes is that, is IPOD fighting for the masses or just making life additionally difficult for them?
For instance, I still couldn't understand the wisdom behind SIT AT HOME order and how will that make them realize their dream.
We have many people that must hustle daily to be able to put food on the table. Why making life more meserable for them?
Do they also quantify the economic loss inherent in this approach which still impoverish both people and States the more.
From the other side of the country, we are looking at you people as a society with either no recognized elders/leaders or the leaders have either loss their influence on their subjects or are scared to speak to them.
How easy will it be to any sensible person to think that these people can be trusted with power?
Every other day, reasons are becoming more glaring that you people have a lot of house cleaning to do before you present yourselves for a presidential position.
With what is playing, I don't think you will be tolerant and able to accommodate yourselves for a long time even after getting a Biafran state.
IF YOU CAN'T INPOSE SIT AT HOME IN ABUJA, PLEASE ALLOW PEOPLE TO GO OUT AND HUSSLE LEGIMATELY INLINE WITH THEIR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO FREE MOVEMENT.
Tnx u.Our southeast politicians gave room for this touting illiterates parading as fleedom fighters. They have so much induced fear in our pple that our pple can no longer say the truth to their useless faces. Our pple no longer go to their business places due to FEAR! Though the ediots still claim they’ve have cancelled the sit at home (maybe to save face)..but their disciples keep causing mayhem on Mondays. Our region is no longer as peaceful as before
See the bunch of marauding lunatics hovering over this thread like an over fed housefly. Cocoon of senseless Ipob ediots trying to shut pple up for voicing their current predicament. The truth remains that the hopeless ediots called Ipob without a sense of direction and lacking in cognitive abilities have successfully pushed the southeast into lawlessness and a mini state of emergency. Most of this terrorists consisting of cultists, thugs and illiterate persons have decided to take over the eastern region so that they can continue to inflict pains on our pple. They almost tried it with Anambra but we subdued the foolish ediots Igbos living in the east are passing through pains and agony because of some few senseless and illiterate youthful touts. If u come here to insult the Op for voicing out,may evil befall you and the current issues bedevilling the east land on your doorstep, iseee.
We really need to do more on trees plantation in our state. No matter the beautiful edifices in our state built by our industrious sons and daughters...if trees ain’t sighted, then nothing beautiful has been built.
I read somewhere, somebody suggested this particular tree called African almond(pic below) to be introduced to our land for beautification and erosion control. It was suggested due to its fast growth rate..I think 2yrs max.
Pls this should be suggested to those in charge. We are really doing poorly on tree planting. The number of trees in Awka alone may not be up to 50.
By the grace of the almighty, at the assumption of office,Soludo should embark on a radical road reconstruction beginning from the state capital which is also a vital part that mirrors Anambra state and then to Onitsha and then to Nnewi et al
The three power houses of Anambra should have their roads fixed. If Soludo fixes those roads...our pple will push him for 3rd term sef
Yea, Anambra has abundant road networks but the question we should be asking is this,’are they motorable enough?’ Honestly I can’t wait for Soludo to start his magic. March 2022 seems too far
ChimaAdeoye: The reason I endorse concrete roads over asphalt roads in the journey to pave more roads are that;
1. They are cheaper and much more durable than asphalt (Especially when reinforced with small steel bars). 2. The can easily be built by low-skilled artisans because all you need are stones, cement, water, and wooden planks to retain the area for the concrete to harden. 3. Average 1KM asphalt road costs about N300 - N500 million naira, while average 1KM concrete road costs about N30 - N50 Million naira.
Therefore, for a cash-strapped developing country looking to deploy paved roads to reach as many locations as possible, concrete roads are the solution. You simply should not use the amount to construct 10KM of the concrete road to build just 1KM of asphalt road. Which ironically lasts half the lifetime of concrete roads.
Efforts to achieve a very high-quality finish on concrete roads should be ensured by the supervisor. It is not a reason to reject the proven technology.
imaxdocuments: Just look at this nonsense that looks like rice milling plant. No major retail outlets like shoprite have agreed to go there, because it will be a bad business. How many people in ebonyi can afford to shop in shoprite, when the poverty level in ebonyi is over 80%. Useless miscreants
Lol
You’re giving same energy dey gave our airport.
Mehn no name dem no give our airport. One said na abattoir,,d other said is poultry house. We thank God our Airport has come to manifestation...more to come
Biafrarep: Don't mind those guys, because it was done by Umahi, the governor of a supposed poor state, then it must be village, local and not good enough.
Many of them have not driven on those roads but they will be condemning it with so much passion. One even said driving on it will spoil car, so it would be better if it was filled with potholes and gullies than smooth concrete? Another one rushed to bring YouTube videos from Ghana as the real deal, yet he forgot that Ghana is a country with access to international loans and foreign exchange earnings unlike Ebonyi that is just a state in Nigeria with very little resources at its disposal.
Rubbish!!
This just the point!
Abeg my pple make una dey travel and see biko.
I was a steady traveller on that route most times when I go by road down to CrossRiver’s quarry/cement sites at Akamkpa. Umahi roads are solid...his flyovers too are very solid.
Obi1kenobi: Don't think there's anything inherently wrong with asphalt. Execution is the main issue. Quack contractors often do a shoddy job and the road inexorably breaks down. I remember pictures circulated here on NL about one road in Imo tarred under the Rochas administration and the asphalt layer was so thin, it looked like it was painted over the sand with a paint brush. Of course the first rains quickly washed it away shortly after.
Asphalt isn’t working for us because of kukere moves by contractors and politicians in charge. We need the direct labour and the concrete roads be employed. Dave Umahi did a wonderful job honestly. Driving through those newly constructed Ebonyi roads was so memorable and cool. Seemed like the car was in space..didn’t feel like we WAS driving via a Nigeria road
