Politics › Re: APC: NEC Meeting Not Holding On March 17 by LandMann: 9:59pm On Mar 07, 2020
Tomorrow, a court will rule that the meeting earlier announced by someone who is not authorized to do so is totally legal, just as Oshiomole who has delivered his ward to APC since 2007 elections was given audio suspension by nonexistent ghost members of his ward and a court said the suspension is valid....

I have no more doubt that the judiciary is part and parcel of Nigeria's many problems and needs complete overhaul.

If anyone needs to be suspended by their ward, it is those who have not been able to deliver their wards and even units to APC despite being governor
NYSC › Re: Delta Corper Survives Lassa Fever, Passes Out (Photo) by LandMann: 10:03pm On Mar 06, 2020
So 52 defaulters will face sanctions of extension of service time?

The authorities better look into this issue.

With the increase in nysc allowance, many lazy youths may be tempted to keep defaulting so they can stay back to collect 33k monthly instead of coming to face the harsh job market or start their own business.

An effective cure is to stipulate that those serving extra time due to defaulting won't be paid
Politics › Re: Oshiomole: My Troublers Are Not From Edo by LandMann: 5:40am On Mar 06, 2020
The Nigeria judiciary is currently a joke.

It stands against reason that a judge will pronounce someone guilty without trial and that's exactly what the FCT High Court judge did; pronounce APC chairman guilty before trial by issuing an order for him to vacate his office.

These kinds of reckless decisions by courts are capable of destabilising the peace and unity of this country and can potentially lead to new raids on judges to fish out those who have returned to the ways of collecting pounds and dollars to sell judgement.

It's time the the CJN calls his judges to order.

This fire brigade approach will yield exactly zero positive result.

GentleChief:
Lol... My school refused me extension and I was starting same October. So I couldn't appeal. Funny enough, I was about booking flight then.

The one that broke my heart was the VO that interviewed me. This lady is very crafty and shrewd. You need to see the way she was saying nice things to me and I was smiling like a goat not knowing this woman was doing what she was trained for. E.g

She looked at my birthday and told me her father was born same day and is such a perfect man. She also told me she hopes am a gentleman because Germany needs gentlemen. You need to see me smiling like a sheep thinking I have hit jackpot. I was now answering her questions in a relaxed and simplified mode. Inlet all my guard and arsenal down. For some weird reason, I wanted to ask this woman dor her number and go out for a drink later. cheesy cheesy

I called my people to kill a goat that I have finally made it to heaven grin grin

4 days later, DHL mailman called me to go and receive my package from embassy. Because I was very paranoid, I forgot how the whole thing works. My mind told me immediately that Germany has considered my gentlemanly nature and issued me a Visa immediately on pro bono basis cheesy cheesy. I fooolishly tipped the mail man 2k and told him see you from the other side. I can even remember telling him na Buhari go kill una las las grin grin

When I opened the mail, I saw something typed in German. I shouted wow..... Inukwa? They are now speaking German to me. I immediately scanned the letter and uploaded to google for interpretation angry angry

Chaii.... That woman will not make heaven at all. It was very painful embarassed embarassed

Bring succour to the common man in the streets of your state with your office and confirmed victory, Lyon.

Meanwhile, Obaseki should focus on building bridges in Edo instead of trying to pull the roof down on everyone's head in the state.

Should the Nigerian government not have placed a travel ban on China till the issue is sorted out first.

At least, lets act as if we have a standard sef.

Becos if it's the other way round, China would have placed a ban on us.
An outright ban may be too severe... What the government can do is raise awareness and ensure people coming into the country from those places where the virus has spread to are properly screened at the airport and other points of entry into the country

The problem with you is you are intrinsically dishonest.

Since you are in the business of reproducing quotes look at the quote above

Is it the same as what I wrote?. Guy do not play dumb

Take a very good look at what you emboldened and what I quoted

The world Exclusively was dropped by you.

What difference does that make to the two sentences?
I don't have time to play silly buggers with you
You are a liar
How you managed to leave a more important question to run after one word is a mystery. Do you know what "Exclusive" means when it comes to how power and roles are shared between the three arms of government in Nigeria?

Again, since you say security is not the exclusive preserve of FG, can you point out one arm bearing security outfit set up by state or private individual without authority from FG government or police acting on behalf of FG....

Just point out one and put the devil to shame

You are not infoing anyone rather you are expressing your opinion or interpretation
Unless the word inform has changed in meaning it is not informative to announce facts that have been in the public domain for more than 20 years.

It is quite patronising to act as if you have revealed some profound mystical secrets.

Ultimately the issues are such as might require judicial interpretation but there is nothing in the constitution that places security exclusively in the domain of the FG as you asert
0monnak0da:
Did I say that?

Sir,

You are a liar.
Deliberately dishonest.
End of...
My brother, I have quoted your own post and bolded the comment you made. I wonder if you read and understand your own comment before posting. #peace unto you sir

There's nothing in the constitution that places security in the domain of FG.... Hmmm.

Let me ask you sir, who controls NPF, Nigeria Army, Airforce, Navy, NSCDC, Customs and Immigration?

These are all security outfits in Nigeria. Sir, are the workers in any of the list above paid by state governments?

Okay. Please mention one security outfit operating anywhere in Nigeria currently that doesn't derive it's authority from FG with NA approval.

Okay. Also tell me why calls are being made to FG and not SG to create state police.

If you look closely, you will see that this Ametokun issue is a fallout of FG reluctance towards creating state police.

Hmm.

I won't insult you like the others, but try and stand aloof and look at your stand for a moment. You are here defending what's in the exclusive list and what's not for the FG. Is the FG discharging those roles adequately for everyone?
When a matter is of life and death of a whole people or sections of the populace, what good is exclusivity of roles.
If you have been kidnapped off the Ibadan/Ife highway and ransomed for N10m, would you be here defending what's in the FG exclusive list.
And do you honestly think this country is working and viable in the manner we're going?
The purposes of my post is not to support fg or state but to inform people of what the law and other issues are so we can collectively fashion out a way that is good for us all. U don't use a hammer to kill a mosquito bitting your schrotum

Politics › Re: See Copies Of Oshiomhole’s Letters To The Chief Judge Of Rivers State (photos) by LandMann: 2:04pm On Jan 17, 2020
A law should be made to henceforth prevent judges and their spouses from engaging in active politics like being a member of a political office or contesting election.

This attitude of politicians using the influence of their spouse who is a judge to obtain favourable judgement is antithetical to progress and is part of what is killing our institutions of governance today.

Security' is NOT in the exclusive list

That is simply untrue
You do not need to inform me about the exclusive list
It is in the public domain and has been for over20 years

There is no where security is mentioned there.

That claims false
The fact that items 2 etc deal with security proves nothing. Are those the only dimensions of security?
Even those items are subject to interpretation

Security is such a Mulidimensional issue from hiring a Maiguard in your house to having a civilian JTF in Borno or inviting foreign mercenaries

Again not every scenario requires fresh legislation as there is already existing legislation covering so many existing activities.
Ok sir. Thank you.
