The most shocking aspect is that we that base in the south east don't experience most lies they post here, currently serving in Enugu state, I swear the place sweet die, No disturbance and everywhere is peaceful here, On Mondays we just find one local joint and relax ourselves. Then I'll check on Nairaland frontpage and start seeing how IPOB killed 7 people in Enugu, while we that were there haven't seen anyone with sticks, talk more of gun. I've been serving in Enugu for a while now, I just love the atmosphere here, good and peaceful people, nice food, especially okpa di oku (hot okpa) with chilled palm wine.

In Nigeria right from Independence the south has been a much more reasonable region than the North. In the south the major tribes are Yoruba and Igbo. But since the Biafra war till date while the Yorùbás barely have any opinions on the Igbos and have always been hospitable. The Igbos in return would assume the victim mentality including their online warriors and rain insults at the Yorùbás such as;

* Brown roof
* Skull miners
* Calling Lagos a no man's land
